He have built cancer centre with whose name ? Let be realistic The hall he built calling it hospital how far? free education in primary and secondary school we agree bt our state is rated 38% external exam by ministry of education. In tertiary institution I have not believe is free because students pay 20,000 to access the cheque, he increase acceptance from 20,000 to 70,000 what is free about it In Adapalm i.e our palm plantation one of our state generate revenue He sold it and went back and buy it, he sack all the staff without pay That He re construct road in owerri where people can praise Him those that not make him best governor. NO Let me ask oooh in all the state own institution have gov Rochas build any standing structure for them? Am very very anger when these people that are from boko harm come here and make noise. Pls if are not from imo state Pls stay !!! We are finish and you talking about re electing Rochas is not possible, if any of you guys are interest on Him pls come and carry let Him governor your state. My happiness is that we are waiting for Him with our PVC To think he had descended so low as to front a private venture as a state achievement is very painful. The state hospitals lies in disrepair begging for funds with the staff being owed salary and yet he flaunts a private self enriching venture as achievement, very despicable |

ije30: Please I beg u all in God's name, don't be deceived. That place is a diagnostic centre owned by an isreali firm and not by Imo State government. I have personally been there and I spent almost 300 thousand naira just to conduct x-ray and CT scan on a family friend. It is purely a business venture owned and managed by an isreali firm. So pls Op don't and I mean don't decieve nairalanders. Thanks. Actually the Isrealis are just fronts. They are partners , the major financier is Mrs Okorocha/Rochas. With some contribution albeit meagre from the Isrealis. It is a 100% private owned profit driven venture that has NOTHING to do with Imo state government apart from the fact that her funds were stolen to execute it. It makes me sad to see the truth being distorted. |

amakenny: Gov. Okorocha cannot do that because the Teaching hospital is not in Owerri; it is in Orlu. Since Okorocha came as governor, no road leads to the Teaching hospital.
Nearly heaven had pleaded and protested to Okorocha to repair the road to the teaching hospital, but nothing after four years.
hospital.http://theleaderassumpta.com/2014/06/01/okada-riders-imsuth-staff-raise-alarm-over-condition-of-hospital-road/ There is a state specialist hospital at Umuguma yet he did not bother equipping it. Ochiedike is 100% private venture funded with state funds and being paraded as government achievement. |

The public is exceptionally guillible. Imo state has a state specialist hospital just 5 minutes drive from this Ochiedike diagnostic centre at Umuguma Owerri. Yet he left it ill equipped. He rather acquired land and set up a PRIVATE establishment which he registered with some Isreali partners and siphoned state funds. In order to create awareness Rochas more or less mandated different civil servants to obtain check ups at this centre at a subsidized rate. What he failed to tell the public is that this centre is not owned by Imo state government but rather belongs to Mrs Okorocha and partners. |

Now nissan is damn cheap and rugged ...the full engine is about 60k now tell me Toyota thathad an engine with that price
I change oil filter with just 400naira but Toyota is more expensive
I don't want to talk about brake pads etc
To me Toyota is over rated . The engine is a bit complex but Nissan is better
Don't even think of overheating and solenoid troubles of their automatics
Finally these Toyota comes in auto mainly and what about us the real men that loves manual drives
To me nissan anyday I thought i was the only Nissan fan in the house. Nissan is a very reliable brand, drives way better than most toyotas in the same class. Our mechanics can however be so bad that they can wreck any car. Nissan is very cheap to maintain if you have a good mechanic, i still think Toyota is simpler to work on. |

Rhozabeth: Bros nobody is blaming Jona for the falling price of oil what we are saying is that he has not done enuf in diversifying the economy and he has succeeded in squandering the reserve which of course would have been useful now that the country makes less money from oil! But sincerely it seems u do not know the extent of corruption of this administration! The rate at which they want to stop Buhari from contesting should be an eye opener for u!! Your comment betrays an absolute lack of knowledge in macro economics.. GEJ's administration has taken the boldest step towards diversification than any other to the extent that our economy is less dependent on oil than it has ever been before. Is it possible to completely diversify our economy to an extent that oil becomes a minor part of our income in just 4 years? The answer is no. It is a gradual and continuous process. All economies that are dependent on oil and gas are experiencing the same. |

According to Buhari
In the last two decades, democracy has grown strong roots in Africa. Elections, once so rare, are now so commonplace. As at the time I was a military head of state between 1983 and 1985, only four African countries held regular multi-party elections. But the number of electoral democracies in Africa, according to Freedom House, jumped to 10 in 1992/1993 then to 18 in 1994/1995 and to 24 in 2005/2006.
This is the highest form of self mockery i have ever seen.
This coup plotter and dictator is on a pulpit giving statistics about electoral processes and democracy in Africa.
Does he have some form of dementia or has he forgotten that he terminated a fledgling democracy that would have been 34 years old and thriving if allowed to evolve.

In sum, all the govt led unrealistic success are faux and facetious. US has the largest economy by nominal GDP and China has the largest by PPP. Yet the average Swiss citizen has a way better quality of life than the American or Chinese citizen. Brother world economics is not nairaland who wore it better. Nigeria is the largest economy in Africa and the 26th largest in the world based on nominal GDP and this was achieved during GEJ's tenure. It is based on clear verifiable facts and figures and is internationally accepted by all the major financial houses world wide. You will begin to feel the impact when you get off nairaland and begin to hold your thieving APC governors senators , LG chairmen etc responsible instead of shouting SAI Buhari. |

Eluwilussit: Nigerians are woefully uniformed. There's no place in the world where you don't have unemployment. It is more so in Africa because we have been running a consumer economy for decades. Belly economics. Chop chop economy.
Jona has simply started diversifying our economy by reinvesting in agriculture, automobile and transportation industries, etc. No doubt, we need to go into more areas, but it can't be done by one administration. Even if Jona wins a second term, it will not be enough to solve our problems.
As a matter of fact, we can't solve all our problems even if we try concertedly as a nation. Problems are part of life. If we can solve all our problems, we will go extinct.
We need to learn to see our problems as challenges and not as curses. Jona is not a magician. Neither is Buhari. Buhari is not gonna do much more than Jona has done. He will only create a new set of thieves, elites and power brokers. Nothing is gonna change in terms of real change. Only names will change. Don't be deceived, nigerians. Brilliant |
