Career › Re: Can A Civil Servant Be A Billionaire While In Service? by eagleeye2: 10:37am On Apr 16, 2016 |
We all shout corruption, kworruption. But pay workers their due Mba...... . Minimum wage 18,000, that amount is not even enough for a politicians dog in a month.
. OP, a civil servant can be a billionaire call it corruption or illegal means na you sabi. The Nigerian Government, encourages corruption by Owing salaries and not paying one it's due wage. So, Civil Servants have learnt to earn a little extra by any means possible. |

In my opinion, the subsidy regime cannot be sustained. In as much as The FG wants to alleviate the people's suffering, they should find a way to end this subsidy thing in no distant time. |

Ponponkon: Worthy of note is that Abia and Lagos States were the two States that paid salaries before Easter. Please, my brother edit the quoted part. Some Civil servants are yet to receive their January salaries and most ministeries just paid their February salaries on Friday. Governor Ikpeazu is better than his predecessor, T.A. Orji, no doubts. But there is still much to be done. Instead of bringing propaganda online, you guys should rather tell him the truth. Sycophancy is the major reason most of our leaders don't perform as expected. |

Salaries are being owed Abia Workers. The staff of ABSUTH are yet to receive their January Salaries. The same with teachers in the state. And the ministry workers who have never been owed before this administration are being owed February and March salaries. How will these people and their families survive? What's the essence of building temporary roads all over Aba, when people go to bed on empty stomach? |

booblacain: Price will continue to be fixed deregulation or no deregulation. As a matter of fact it could get worse when the so called cabals are the ones fixing prices. A total deregulated economy needs strong institutions and labor unions, unfortunately we have non of them for now. Am responding, cos of the bolded. Yes, it will get worse initially, but with the forces of demand and supply cetris paribus the price will eventually come down. And the marketers will only be making a reasonable amount of profit. Unlike what we will have now. |
Politics › Re: FG Returns Petrol Subsidy, Retains Official Pump Prices by eagleeye2: 5:05am On Apr 03, 2016 |
amaechi1: Nigerians will also complain even when decisions are taken in their favour. In the bid to alleviate the suffering of the people, the government return subsidy payment for independent marketers and that is what people like you see as confusion. Nigeria cannot SUSTAIN the SUBSIDY regime. That's the simple truth. Let FG deregulate the oil sector and quit fixing pump prices for marketers. You cannot deregulate fully and still fix price, it won't work. And they are not doing us a favor by re-introducing the subsidy. No. The winner is still the CABAL. |

It's a pity that some people didn't see things clearly before foisting this man on us. Why all these confusion? Everyday, I try to see reason to believe in this great nation, but our leaders are doing everything possible to make me believe that we can't Trust Nigeria with our Future. |

doskie: this nation will get no where if we the nationals keep bashing and hating ourselves. its time we put in our own little effort to the growth and development of Nigeria in any way we can. the rest of the world have left us to court our own fate ourselves. we dont need hate. we need useful criticism and positive approach to everything. we need love peace and harmony. we need to show nations like china and india that yes! the black pigment in our skin is no limitation to our brains. one love! buhari or not! I believe you are really a patriot. But the politics of hate was sown by the APC, really can't blame the PDP and its supporters. Moreover, have you noticed that the APC still gloat and insult GEJ even after he has left power. Why will someone refer to GEJ as IB and the same person gets angry when Buhari is referred to as an Animal? |
