Ebube annoys you people doesn't she? I can finish her character off for you right now... cheesy grin like right now... angry angry

In other news, is it not amazing how the quiet ones end up being the worst? Remember Cosmos who was always blowing hot and cold but when he eventually found out about Blossom what did he do? He began to cry like a baby. Compare his reaction to the very quiet Mr Charles Uzoh. (spits God forbid)
Still waters run deep.
.
Charles is partly to be blamed. But, I guess Natasha is really wicked. Why didn't she call Ken first....... So she will now make up with Ken, while Ebube's marriage scatters.
If Nat wasn't a skimming, and hypocritical biatch, why did she choose now to confess her own sins?

why couldn't Natasha just walk away. What is the gain in calling Charles? That was just stupid.

The pair stared at her in shock and the brown dildó dropped from Belinda's hand ''you too?'' Nat asked.

''It's not what you think'' Ebube replied. ''I'm not gay. I'm just … it's just...''

TBC
WoW....... so Ebube is a closest lesbian. No wonder she was more forgiving and understanding of Belinda's lifestyle.

''You are a bloody hypocrite!'' Ebube spat out.

''Leave that level because I know where you want to go''

''Like hell I'll go there!''

''Let me tell you, the word of God does not change. Are you not aware of Sodom and Gomorrah? Why did the bible say God destroyed those cities? Are you not aware that there is a spirit behind homosexuality? That is the spirit that has held our friend captive and prevented her from getting married. That is the spirit that almost ruined Blossom's home and it’s the same spirit that is urging you to pretend like this is okay''

At that point Ebube began to yell at her while Belinda continued to weep ''you have deep issues Natasha'' Ebube said. ''You are blinded by spiritual doctrines that have held you captive. You are also homophobic but I don’t think you quite realize it. You ought to be ashamed of your actions today. Whoever judged you while you were doing runs in school? Did I or Belinda ever call you out? Whoever judged you while you were tying scarf on your head and going from church to sleep with man? Whoever judged you about your oil company work which we all know you got through bottom power abi did you polish Uncle Edwin's shoe then he smiled and accepted your CV? You bloody well knew what you were on your knees polishing before he got you got that blasted job!''

cc:eagleeye2 (dats the portion I was talking about)
Ebube said my mind. But why are they all separating in this 'bitter' form? Dam.n if you are tired of your friends (male or female) why not just quietly walk away.
Look at Oki, and Fijero, no matter how large Fijero's heart is, she will always remember that betrayal in a long while.
Literature › Re: Three Paths by eagleeye2: 10:59am On Feb 19, 2016
At least these ladies are really True friends. (I may be wrong). But, these three aren't sugar coating how they feel about one another. They all have their different problems, and Nat is simply saying the truth the way she sees it.
........Ebube, has children and truth be told kongi na bastard but Kongi no dey kill.
.........Belinda is a les, and she doesn't intend to marry or have kids, so what's even her own problem?... Ohh! I forgot, trying to snatch a married woman from her husband and kids. How is that even possible?
.
Fijero is the real deal. She has a big heart to forgive and still extend a helping hand to her cousin. But she should be careful, letting Oki talk with her husband. (Husband snatching seems to be her thing).
.
Fantasy, try to update more often. Long suspense kills the anxiety.

Dasuki was given bail by a court, but he was rearrested immediately he met the bail conditions. Where's Dasuki today?
Nnamdi Kanu was given bail by a court, but was immediately re-arrested after he met the bail conditions. FG only obeyed the recent court ordering Kanu to be remanded in prison custody.

I bah to you oh! Not a word the entire time? Only nwobi can settle this rift.

Okay so now let's look at it this way. I'm shocked at your pick to be honest. The character I've been most afraid of was actually Belinda! Question for you (and this is the nagging thought I had as I wrote about her) is it possible to be gay, live with your best friends for so long and they have no clue about your lifestyle? No clue whatsoever?

Nat for me is the most secure character and so far nothing about her seems out of place. She has always been a religious fanatic (for lack of better words) and she's always suffered from PCOS hence her fertility challenges are not out of place. Like some former runs girls, they quickly settle into marriage proper and do away with their former ways hence her chaste lifestyle appears okay.

Then to Ebube; now how do I defend this one? She is the most stable character (I'd like to think) but like most of us, she has her bad side. She is the picture of perfect but beneath that, something is simmering underneath. With some people, it takes a little to tip them over the edge. In her case, it was the sexual frustration and trust me, some married women can be that frustrated and just lose it!
Ebube enjoys a healthy sexual relationship, she likes young men (call her a cougar) and probably fantasies about them but has managed to keep this in check. Don't forget while she was dating her husband in final year, she had a toy boyfriend keeping her company on campus. Her straying away when her husband cannot meet her sexual needs should not be too shocking then. She is only acting the script (like a good number of us would) where no one is watching.

Okiemute hmm, I'm gonna make this quick. Let's just say people (especially young, insecure and immensely jealous) do really silly things when they are incensed. Need I go any further? You should comment more, I enjoy conversations like this...
Sorry, I didn't comment before. But I was actually making my own assessment of your characters and comparing to real life situation.
.
Yes it's possible to live with people for so long and they wouldn't realize your sexual orientation or choose to play the I Don't Care role. Remember the day Blossom walked in and found out Belinda went home. She was very downcast. hmmmm.
Yes, Natasha has her own peculiar problem. But beneath all those Religious fanaticism, Nat remains a hypocrite. She didn't really leave her Aristo lifestyle. How did she get her job? How did she climb the corporate ladder? How did she corner contracts for DH? Fantasy, she only became very professional in what she does.
.
Ebube always love younger guys, but didn't love them enough to marry them. Yes, the hubby had a problem with premature eja.culation. But it's curable, and she should have had a little more patience. Nothing kills a man's ego more than not being able to satisfy his woman. Now imagine a fellow man (pastor or not) hinting at this problem. I know it wasn't easy for her as a woman, but at the end what did she achieve? Rather she pushed her hubby away from the bedroom. It's only a matter of time before the husband finds out.
.
Concerning Okiemute, I really don't pity her cos she's the architect of her own problem.

Eagleeye2, I kinda miss your input in this story. I don't know if you are following this one. Have a good day everyone.
Actually Yes. I have been following from the beginning and like always, you have been good with the characters.
I have also been asking myself some very important questions; Like, can someone be like Oki, who used her own hands to destroy promising relationship? or Ebube who instead of being patient with the hubby, resorted to going after small boys and risk crashing her marriage.
I think Belinda is just the only character who stays true to who she is, even though she cannot be bold enough to let the world know. I prefer Belinda to the rest. As per Nat, I feel sorry for her. God has really blessed her materially, but the one thing she wants most keep eluding her.
To an extent I can relate to most of your characters.

Personally I don't see anything wrong with someone using his money to pay for first class tickets if he so desires the treatment. I mean it's your money and you should be able to spend it the way you deem fit.

If he is faulting those flying first class and claims business class is humble. Then I'm afraid he is a hypocrite because there is economy in that same plane. He should fly economy class.
He is not condemning those flying first class, but rather said he has never flown first class.
But some people will rather dig out a photo of him in Arik Business class, to make it seem as if he has been lying all these while.

pharmagba:
although I can never support biafra, I think it a good idea if the shoes were actually manufactured in Nigeria,
As a business man and a product development and sales expert, I feel the manufactures have shot themselves in the foot by writing Biafra. With that the shoe will never be accepted by all and can never reach it full market potential, hence one of the objective of business profit and growth will be lost also loss may occur to any investor.
I'll rather suggest they write made in Nigeria for now, and keep the biafra to their chest yet, with this they get backing even fed govt and even opportunity to export abroad, then even if biafra comes, which I strongly doubts, they already have a market and a brand which they can ride upon.
Look for instance it has to be taken to Lagos, that is to tell you people not in support of biafra will reject it. Same will happen in Kano and other places not favored to biafra.
I dare to disagree with you. The manufacturer has already mapped out his target sales unit. The lovers and supporters of the idea of BIAFRA.
If he had written MADE IN NIGERIA, he may actually be competing with a whole lot of other product made in Nigeria. The manufacturer is infact being creative with the word BIAFRA. Cos even non Lovers of BIAFRA may out of curiosity decide to buy his shoes or in other to prove how 'fake' the shoes were decide to buy. Either way, he has made his sales.
Let me also add that we have a whole lot of Igbos in the places you mentioned, who will gladly patronize his product.
