.A man that can't produce his certificate. .A man that borrowed money to buy Election forms, but his children were all schooling abroad and his wife is a philanthropist and his son has 57M bike. .A man whose cows are 150 in number, year in year out. Non reproduced and none died or was sold off. . What is falsification of age to such a man?
. Nigerians wanted integrity and Buhari gave them his own version. |

omohayek: Could you provide a link to the actual Economist article from which this was supposedly "culled"? Much of the language doesn't read like something native-English speakers would write, let alone contributors to a periodical with such elevated standards for writing style.
I dislike Buhari for his incompetence as much as anyone, but this particular "culling" reads more like something written by a Nigerian with a "tribal" axe to grind. Yes, you are right. This article has been featured before now, earlier this year. February or March and yes it was written by a Nigerian. But the heading still apply to happenings even till this day. Nigerians would have been up in arms if it were someone from the South. Be it South West, South East or South South. |

Now, you see why we cannot look the other when Human rights are being violated? It doesn't matter if they are alleged suspected kidnappers/cultists or this girl. It's either you respect human rights or you don't. I am very sure that if this story had come out at the time of her arrest, some people will be asking why she associates with a cultist boyfriend. |
