francizy: I'd rather you bring Gov Oshomole here and I'll tell you he's a day and not Fashola. Fashola was very cunning and knew how to looth and at the same time how to maneuver the system and deceive you. The so called mega city Gov Fash made us dream of, what happened to it now? The Mile 2-Okoko expressway and rail line has been under construction since Mr. Fash took office and with the rate at which the Chinese company is going, that road will probably take till 2055 to complete.
Now some parts of Lagos are worse than when he took the seat. In some areas like mine, people had to construct or repair their own roads. Banned bike riders are now all over Lagos, does that mean that Mr. Fash cannot successfully maintain a system? Maybe. Do you have toll gates in any other Nigerian states?
Why did he increase LASU school fees to hundreds of thousands? An educated man like him should know better or should I say that he wants only people of his class to attend LASU. Am particularly concerned about this increment because i schooled in ABU and payed an amount almost equal to federal government allowee as school fees. That is exactly what education should be like. We dont have to replicate private universities' costs.
He is a master of gimmicks and we "the masses" are easily tricked. I wish Jimmy Agbaje will win the Lagos state Gubernatorial election and let's see if Mr. Fash will go without one allegation or the other..
What a country! Well...well...well everyone is entitled to his or her opinion but for me I am not convinced with all your assertions. More than 60% Lagosians will tell you that Fashola's leadership is fairly ok compared to the rest of governors, needless to mention GEJ. |

francizy: God forbid! You do want all the federal institutions school fees to hit 500k right?! How will the poor people carter for their children? Fashola is as terrible as GEJ.. They are all the same! I strongly disagree...comparing Gov. Fashola and Pres. GEJ as it stands today is like comparing Night and Day! |

Goldenboy007: I read all the comments from first page till this point....I can only say Thank God..finally I see a ray of light at the end of the tunnel. The mistake the present GEJ and his paid supporters are making is - you can fight APC and win but you can't fight the masses and win!!! The campaign for a change has gone beyond APC or any political party, it has become a revolutionary movement by the masses!! The survival of Nigeria is greater than any religious or tribal sentiments! Enough is enough! The masses are becoming one voice! The wind of change is becoming a whirlwind; a force to reckon with..let those that stand in its way be careful... Spot on! GEJ's government has been punishing the masses for 6-years. Now GEJ must go so that we can breath at least... |

Finally again, Igbos are gradually seeing the light. You don't need a prophet to tell you that GEJ can never make a good leader. He doesn't have the character and qualities of a good leader. Giving him another 4years (which is making it 10 years) is equal to wasted 10 years. Let's vote with sense of reason. Look at the present and not past. |

GEJ should bother more about the perception of the masses about his govt and seek to turn things around than trying to woo IBB.
If election should go free and fair today, GMB will definitely win.
INEC is the weakest link to 2015 presidential election unless a they make amends before time. |

aguiyi: what kind of vision did tinubu have for Lagos in years and what can he be remembered for after his tenure so much for him to now be the political godfather of the entire south west region.
Osinbajo should refute sergent rogers claim against him first before we can listen to him My good friend...no need of deflecting the truth. Am talking of President and Commander in Chief of Nigeria armed force and not former Governor of Lagos state. Even little children know that GEJ does not have vision for Nigeria as it stands today. No need to worry yourself too much about it. It's just the reality that we need to correct. |
