PoliticsRe: Nigeria More Divided Than Civil War Era – Sanusi by EagleNest(m): 5:46pm On Apr 06, 2023
More effort is being made to tear down Nigeria instead of unite it. Many Nigerian politicians never loved a united Nigeria or are they working towards it. No blueprint nor genuine interest to build a functional and united Nigeria. I'm afraid it's not going well with so called Giant of Africa.
PoliticsRe: Sonwo Olu Is A Good Man Ndigbo Will Vote For Him by EagleNest(m): 4:06pm On Mar 16, 2023
Let Lagosians vote their choice in a free and fair manner.

The Feb 25 election result in Lagos rattled APC. Even the national result, as bad as it is, points to the direction Nigerian youths wants the country to go. It was a protest vote against the party in power.

Sanwo-Olu appears like a hardworking person with great sense of loyalty but unfortunately the political clique he represents is where the big problem lies. He is campaigning hard now, who knows, he might convince more Lagosians to believe in him.

For me, let the best person win!
PoliticsRe: What I’ll Do If Tinubu Invites Me Into His Govt – Peter Obi by EagleNest(m): 3:52pm On Mar 16, 2023
And when he succeeds with this fight and restores the dignity of Nigerians, all man will benefit regardless of creed or ethnicity. Our last hope to reset Nigeria to a functional society for everyone.
PoliticsRe: INEC Must Sanction Peter Obi For Campaigning In Churches - Reno Omokri by EagleNest(m): 3:38pm On Mar 16, 2023
He is still fighting Obi even after Feb 25 charade. Is this man working for Atiku or Tinubu or both?
HealthRe: My Sister, Debbie, Died In LUTH Due To Lack Of Bed Space - Man Cries Out by EagleNest(m): 3:17pm On Mar 16, 2023
So sad what happened to your sister.

The federal government concentrated nearly everything in Lagos. So people will naturally flock to where there is huge economic activities. That's how London, New York, Johannesburg, etc attracts the world to it.

Nearly all large enterprise's headquarters (both governmental and private) are based in Lagos. Port Harcourt used to take a slice of this during the peak of oil activities until the militants ruined that aspect.

For instance Lagos needed train transport badly to help in movement of people but where did Federal govt prioritize when building rail services, the North.

Things are not done properly in Nigeria because we still think and do things tribally, and not competently to the best interest of Nigerians. It doesn't seem as if there is a real country called Nigeria because the people still see each other as strangers.
PoliticsRe: Wike Is A Drowning Man In Need Of Salvation, He's Trying To Divide Nigeria- Reno by EagleNest(m): 11:58pm On Mar 12, 2023
All of them, including Reno are only fighting for their own pocket. The true Nigerians are the ones that want genuine change, not these political jobbers.

The worst government since Nigeria independence!

Una suppose hide una face.

Zero leadership, zero inspiration to Nigerians, disastrous economy, weak judiciary, anti-people legislative assembly, worst security, corruption beyond belief, extreme poverty, and I can go on and on.

PoliticsRe: FG Using CBN Naira Policy To Go After Criminals In Politics – Ezekwesili by EagleNest(m): 6:07am On Feb 21, 2023
"Criminals is politics", that's very deep.
"Competence, character and capacity", wow, it is very clear who meets the 3Cs.

PoliticsRe: Reno Omokri: If Peter Obi Wins, I'm Afraid Of What Obidients Will Do by EagleNest(m): 5:50am On Feb 21, 2023
Reno is gradually accepting the reality. Scales are falling out from his eyes. Be strong Reno and go further mile to declare Obi as the favourite. It won't hurt you. It's the truth and only but the truth. He is the best amongst the candidates.

Emperor Wike telling elders who to vote and they fearfully repeated it loudly in his presence, otherwise they will loose their chieftaincy stool. The emperor smiled, but what will happen in emperor's absence, we don't know.
PoliticsRe: The Economist Endorses Peter Obi, Says He Offers Nigerians Hope by EagleNest(m): 8:53am On Feb 19, 2023
FreeStuffsNG:
A renowned Professor of Economics and former CBN Governor who is occupying the office once occupied by Mr Obi for 8 years of mediocre leadership in Anambra under him, Economist Soludo, has passed a verdict on Mr Obi; he regards Mr Obi as a colossal failure in 8 years reign of Mr Obi as Anambra state Governor.

None of the current or past Governors of Anambra endorsed him and none of them can vouch for him.

Any Economist hyping Mr Obi is like the discredited ANAP 'poll' and should not be taken with seriousness.

The current Governor of Anambra state, Prof Soludo, a Professor of Economics and former Central Bank of Nigeria(CBN) Governor, already gave the scorecard of Mr Obi. Soludo said publicly that Anambra state investment that Mr Obi made in the capital market is today worth next to nothing.
The renowned Economist, Prof Soludo stated that Anambra state under Mr Obi took the first position in Nigeria in the democratization of poverty!

Tinubu’s legacy investments are still standing today and yielding huge returns to Lagos state government. He was one of the first state governors to ever use the capital market for raising state bonds, Lagos made huge ROI on its shares in Airtel, Asiwaju initiated the vision that today birthed Lekki Deep Seaport(only deep seaport in Nigeria and largest in West Africa) and Lagos state majority-owned companies like LASACO Plc are doing well in the capital market.

All these manipulation of facts to rewrite history in order to hype Mr Obi will end in 5 days time.when Mr Obi would have been defeated at the polls in a free, fair, transparent and credible election.

The good thing is that his defeat will teach other current and past mediocre governors a lesson: If you do not want to be paying PR guys money to hype you, work very hard in office so that your work will speak for you.
Nigerians will open your record for posterity when you are mediocre in office then come later to contest. No media hype will pull wool over people’s eyes.Serve well. He is wasting his money on sponsored post.smh

Serve excellently like Tinubu served Lagos as Governor for 8 years. Mr Obi and Alhaji Atiku were mediocre in office for 8 years.
check my signature for free stuffs!
Same way you guys hyped and packaged Buhari in 2015. Now, Nigerians have learnt the hard lessons that it was a dummy they were sold. APC should just stay aside like PDP, to learn the basics of how to source good candidates that can move the nation forward.

APC collectively failed and should not be reelected at the center. Executive, Legislative bodies and judiciary are all in limbo doing nothing else but serving the self interest of selected few. This must stop from this Saturday pls.
BusinessRe: Incessant Attacks: Banks To Be Shut From Monday by EagleNest(m): 8:39am On Feb 19, 2023
Solababa91:
This country is very difficult to manage, I tell you. CBN gave a three month window, people refuse to deposit money, extended it still people refuse, rolled out new money, bank officials monetized it and gave it to highest bidder boycotting the massive masses. If CBN had printed lots of money and released into circulation aggressively like you said, would it have gotten to the masses too? I think majority of it would have also been courted by the elites. I just weak for Nigeria. Now people are destroying banks and they expect them to work? We come back to complain again that money is not circulating, after shutting down banks? I mean... people working in banks are human being too, since if them have been traumatized.
.

I know of 1-month window that elapsed on 31 January and the added extension which lasted till 10 February. I agree that Nigeria is very difficult to manage, but we need to up our "planning and executing" abilities. These kind of risks would have been envisaged and assessed before rolling out the program. Hopefully one or two lessons would have been learnt especially as we get into the next big one which is "election".
BusinessRe: Incessant Attacks: Banks To Be Shut From Monday by EagleNest(m): 8:32am On Feb 19, 2023
PeterObi4LP:
More money can not be inject into the country when some people are still hoarding half of the old note with them. The amount of old notes CBN is expected to come back is less than what came in. So the deadline is necessary to allow people hoarding the old notes brings it out before circulating the new ones.
Yeah, but it should have been properly planned naah. This risk you highlighted about people hoarding notes would have been anticipated and mitigation measure put in place. Now more suffering is being added to already exhausted Nigerians, just to take their own money.

Don't get me wrong, it's a good intention by govt but the implementation especially the timing could be done better next time.
PoliticsRe: Folashade Tinubu: Tinubu Will Be A Listening President (Video) by EagleNest(m): 5:44am On Feb 18, 2023
Tinubu, a listening president? Hmmmnnn, I need to make some consultations grin
BusinessRe: Incessant Attacks: Banks To Be Shut From Monday by EagleNest(m): 5:40am On Feb 18, 2023
CBN and Banks messed the whole exercise up by not distributing the new Naira notes quickly and aggressively. I still find fault with the timing but the ship has already sailed.
PoliticsRe: North And East Are Not Protesting Buhari Redesign Policy by EagleNest(m): 5:34am On Feb 18, 2023
But SE has been protesting against this disastrous APC govt since 2015. Remember we were called 5% and a dot in a nation by Buhari because we refused to support a clear bad workman.

Now we leave it to SW to protest at least for once. Stop dodging! grin
PoliticsRe: Deji Adeyanju Shares Throwback Picture Of El-Rufai Disobeying Court Order by EagleNest(m): 5:25am On Feb 18, 2023
I don't listen to El Rufai. He is a hypocrite. A religious and tribal bigot who has mastered the art of outward deception but inside - he is a dangerous man.
PoliticsRe: Stop The Joke About Interim Government, Elections Will Hold by EagleNest(m): 4:06am On Feb 18, 2023
Two conflicting information from same APC. Nigeria has had enough, we must go beyond APC on 25th February so that we can regain our sanity.
