But MKO and Kingibe won in 1994 as moslem/moslem. Was it not same Nigeria? At this point in Nigeria's struggle for survival, what we need is competent leaders while turning blind eyes to religion. |
how did you get the information? |
Too bad. |

ugwum007:ha ha ha...not a bad answer! |

It's not about the so called 'crowd' pulling, if they like let them hire even school children. My interest is on a candidate who can deliver Nigeria from this mess. Someone who has track record of competence, integrity and purposeful leadership. Who amongst the two, as well as other candidates meets this requirement? |
Even though some African nations are jealous of Nigeria and see us as rivals, but they felt sorry for our current situation. And they kept wondering why Islam allows this such inhumanity and also surprised how the current leadership could do little or nothing to save the situation. Shall we continue like this? |
The quoted source of this article looks a bit dodgy but the article itself is quite sound. This is a classical case of 'No real smoke without fire'. It's obvious that Nigeria military has been infiltrated, corrupt and weak, reason why they struggle so much against BH. Everyone need to be alert. |
ugwum007:Kindly educate me please...what do you gain in fish head? |
That's Mbaka's opinion. Let's respect it. But for me GEJ is the wrong person to lead Nigeria. I know people sometimes learn on the job itself when they are not experienced but for GEJ the job is overwhelming and he's struggling terribly at our expense (so many lives lost and counting...). Voting him again for another four years is a surety of another fours years of pains & suffering for Nigerians. It has never been this bad in Nigeria security-wise since the last three decades. |
Though it's an alarming post...but it's good to be alert & watchful. Because Nigeria current situation is appalling. Heart of stone from BH, Bad leadership from GEJ and confused followership are major cause of this escalation. It has not been bad like this in Nigeria since the last three decades. God save us! |
Boko Haram is now out of control... |
Too Bad! |
Joining school cultism is one of the most stupid thing anyone can do. Like head of fish there is nothing good to gain from it. |
OBAMA talks more than he should work. Generally, his international policies and ideas are not popular - making America look as if it's vulnerable and weak. I still don't like his attitude towards Nigeria...not helpful at all. |
OP this is not just Africa but Blackman (you inclusive) in entirety. Nigeria has always had the potential to push the blackman to the fore-front of reckoning in the world but have been bedeviled by extreme corruption and bad leadership which has made it a laughing stock in the committee of nations. There are individual sparks of brilliance from Blackman/Africans but collectively we have not created a working and successful society. |
This Junaid of a man is simply evil. Can you imagine what is coming out of his heart? Out of the many ethnic groups in Nigeria, it's ONLY Igbos that he kept on mentioning with such an anger oiled with hatred and bitterness. What's the essence of the fight for ONE NIGERIA if at the end someone like Junaid still bear extreme grudges and enjoys the hobby of taking statistics of successful Igbos especially those in position of authority just for incitement of ethnic hatred. I smell blood somewhere... ![]() |
A nice joke! ![]() |
Seriously we should stop the illusion that we are practicing democracy. But all I care is who can stamp out institutional corruption in Nigeria - I don't care about the person's political party, ethnicity or religion. |
Wonders shall never end. How many times will this man die? |
Emilord:Agreed, a civilian rule for 27 yrs in Nigeria is near impossible but what Nigeria and in deed Africa need now is good and exemplary leadership. The suffering in Africa is too much and undeserving. |
lastpage:I will blame both. They are reflection of dysfunctional system. |
Frankiss44:You dey back back... I know. |
Truckpusher:Oga It has not reached to the point of using 'sharrap'. Fela have said it before and we've always prove him right, that we are continually 'suffering and smiling' and your rationalization of the reason (s) is always our excuse. |
Good stuff! |
Heart2heart:Not so my good friend.... Not as the #BringBackOurgirls group did and were chased out... ...but something that will be a game changer! |
Blackchampion:Not like #BringBackOurgirls group did and were chased out...but something that will be a game changer! |
if you believe this, you believe anything. |
extra-ordinary fabrication without genuine source. sorry, am unconvinced. |
That's what we call 'Peoples Power'. For Nigerian, it's more of talk, talk, talk and talk...but no power and our rulers are daily whipping us silly. |
And the sad reality is that he's still the man to rescue Nigeria. |
