ok, for ebike?..then its lithium ion--this accepts up to 4.2v per cell, lithium phosphate/lifepo4 only accepts 3.65v maximum

if lithium ion...you should have 14 cells...that way the voltage is within what most inverters can handle----below 60v
if lifepo4, then the 16 nos quantity is correct, but then the voltage is wrong.

The Felicity 1.5Kva 12v sells for less than 125K from credible sources boss - this is a smart inverter with fully flexible voltage and LVD settings in the box.

It may be deliberate unfairness to compare 'company price' of one item with 'JUMIA price' of the other especially also comparing 1.2Kva TBB with 1.5Kva Felicity.

Anyways, whoever has need can pickup the inverters they find fits their needs best.

Frequency still between 52-53.

my theory is that these banks may have an amount of USD dedicated for web purchases, so even though they have low monthly limits, most of the banks relax this limits somewhat periodically on a week by week basis, with month end having the highest.

There are several factors involved in the setup, which is above the paygrade of us all, so lets leave those assumptions aside.

When i was a lot younger, when my 12v inverter battery ran down at night, i had this wonderful idea of starting my car and running jumper cables to the battery to recharge....leaving my car idling tru the night (i had no gen then), would it have worked...hell yes, would it make any economic sense.....hell no.

waste of resources. this is the tropics, panels perform best at/or near horizontal/<15 deg.....there is a sharp decline in performance if you exceed 50degrees, those panels are at/near 90degrees, a 500watts panel at such inclination will behave like an 80watts panel.

perhaps, the bank is doing the installation as a bragging right, or to pass a message----viewing it from the economics prism, it makes absolutely no sense

ahh, you are still on this matter.. he said his array is 600w, so its likely 2x 300watts or 4 x 150 watts, or 6 x 100 watts,. max voc of 300watts panel is about 41volts, max input for the avg pwm 12v cc is 50volts.....so don't see how his panel voltage would be an issue.........

ITS NOT SET IN STONE, there is some flexibility to the equalization thingy.....the 4hrs...the 30 day frequency...all are recommended, but nuthin catastrophic will happen if u don't follow it religiously....just free your mind and try to follow it as best as you could. if u are unable to achieve 4hrs equalization with your solar.....wch is almost impossible..unless you have a n oversized array. if you don't, you can leave the equalization voltage on the CC for 2 to 3 days...so u are sure within that period 1hr here, 30 mins there...the cumulative would be enough to achieve a good level of equalization

Hybrids have more electronics, hence are more sensitive and prone to failures from a variety of factors. Dirty Ac voltage, lightning strikes, poor earthing, current leakage etc.install protective devices and ur hybrids will last a long time.
Also good to hv a smaller back up inverter...just in case,

For flooded/tubular batteries, from experience...the act of regular equalization keeps the batteries balanced, so a balancer isnt critical for such setups

Bolded is not true bro. With 100A out of 100AH AGM, your voltage will sag so crazily that your inverter will shut down. One reason why people can take large amp out of even a small lithium battery is that lithium maintains a good voltage until almost the bitter very end. Lead acid on the other hand will lose voltage quickly as you load it.

100A out of 100AH AGM will probably last you about 5 minutes before you voltage becomes too low to sustain your inverter!

ITS lasting 4hrs cos the battery is likely new., if you runyour freezer usually >120watts on that 70ah battery, which is suspect is leadacid, without solar support, then expect a sharp decline in run hours as the battery crosses the 8months mark

10kva inverter is a no no for just 4 pieces of 12volts x 200ah batteries.
Any installer who gave you that option needs to be shot @ sunset...and shot again @ sunrise if still found moving...

Its your proposed load that will determine the size of inverter you buy.
Those inverter you posted, hope you know they usually have a high idle consumption.the bigger the inverter kva, the bigger the idle consumption.

Any tubular battery that requires topping up once a month is either being charged poorly, with less than 14.3v or isnt carrying any serious load or isnt being cycled regularly...ie rarely goes above 20% DOD,.....2 to 4x a year is normal topping regime.

Too frequent topping like once a month accompanied with battery getting hot to touch is a sign of a dying battery

HOLUP FAM! does this imply that for normal MPPT cc with adjustable float and absorb voltage, and is used to charge a lithium battery pack, if this sh!t happens say at night, by morning that cc may be toast as soon as the cc gets input with no discernible output right? correct me if I'm wrong pls.

See how it works.
A bms shuts down a lithium pack for Lvd, only the discharge side is shut down, the charge side is open to receive charge into the battery.

Same happens in reverse for bms shutting down for HVD.

Where you may have a problem is if you are using a non hybrid inverter without its own inbuilt Lvd and without a standalone cc.
Since @ Lvd, the bms has cut off battery discharge, now some inverters may not be able to sense the battery to charge it. A standalone cc wouldnt hv this shortcoming.

But if the BMS is totally down/off...ie it has disconnected both charge and discharge...then no charging source will be able to charge the battery, until you either wake up the bms or bypass the bms by attempting to charge the battery directly

1. Try not to load your setup above 24v x 15amps, thats about 400watts, after sundown or when you phcn isnt on. However you can get away with not following this religiously if you go above this recommendation by upto 20 to 40%....as long as you do it intermittently and not too frequently. Eg you can use a 600w pressing iron to iron ur clothes since the heating element goes off and on.

2. The batteries are in series, so the c/10 cuts across the 2.
18amps is just a lil above c/10, so you are good.
If the batteries were in parallel for a 12v setup, then you would be needing above 30amps to keep the batteries happy.
