yes, it appears the card doesn't have 3D/OTP function..hence most secure websites reject it. tried using it to pay for UK visa..and it was also rejected. now I have my money tied up...converting back to naira, they are converting @ 647, when they sold the USD @ 698....................

I'm qualified for drop box, paid visa fees and started looking for dates on the CGI. After some personal fruitless efforts I got to meet an agent.
I was quite specific about location and month because of the nature of my job.
I'm in Lagos, the agent said he got Oct 31st in Abuja, which I got a farwarded appointment confirmation in my mail.(not directly from embassy)
I will not be able to make this appointment.
I explained to him but said there's nothing he could and that his boys would not release the profile until I pay him.
Now, I cannot access my profile for 3 days.
Tried forgot password many times but didn't get reset password mail.

Pls what do I do, as there's no way I can make this appointment and they are holding on to my profile.

THEY Have reset your email to theirs --- you should have gotten a mail, when they did that,
only the embassy can help you retrieve the profile now, do reach out to them, but I think not telling them all about this whole agent issh may be a wiser course of action. perhaps you have lost access to the email/forgot password etc.... those agents surely hv inside help...cos they way they get dates isn't normal

You might need to do something DIY and the wall been very strong too. Else placing it on the ground would be the way to go.

Anchor bolts are the way to go. As the big ones are rated for 100kg, so by the time you use 4 pieces, it would be more that sufficient.

The weakest point is your wall/blocks....the average blocks may not be able to handle that type of load for a long time. Unless casted walls or specially molded blocks...remember the 50liter water heater tanks weigh about 70 to 90kg when full and they worked well for years...though many started collapsing in later years

What I have come to realise is that Nigerians are pliable so much that once they realize that they can't get compromised quality at any place, they'll definitely look for the money to get the real quality. Example a 280ah brand new grade a eve cell is about 110usd in china...add freight of about 15usd to 20usd per cell ,plus 2 to 5months duration before you get the cells. +Risk of total loss, should anything happen to the ship in the high seas, the forwarder will likely not offer any repayment+ flunctuating value of naira vs dollar

1. Question 1 -- what do you think is a fair price to sell that 1 cell in naira?

2. Question 2--- if you go ahead to build a battery pack with 16 pieces of these cell+bms+ decent metal case etc, to give u 14kwh pack. How much do you think is a fair price.

you are supposed to plug the load on the 2 different meters you have..and then compare with the devices energy name plate.

by the time you do this for a series of devices, you would deduce which is closer/accurate.

2ndly at bolded, either you wrote this wrong or understood it wrong

2hrs = 0.081KWh (i.e. 81W in one hour) --------------- if your wattmeter displayed this after 2hours, then you shud divide the kwh by time in hours to get the average consumption, which in this case should be 40.5watts and not 81 watts u wrongly state there, same goes for the other appliances you used wrong maths for there
3hrs 37mins = 0.132KWh (i.e. 132W in one hour)

I did the test separately and got same result. This is the third time am doing this test now.

Watts Meter shows 0.302Kwh at 4hra 37mins usage. It also show High current draw of 95.4W and low current draw of 67.5W.

Use a known load to determine which of the meters is correct.

Deye is a decent but yet immature product in my own view and for my own purposes. I use it at home as a backup system to store and use excess PV from the Victron side of things.

Deye is setup as the mains input into my Victron's AC In 2 and comes alive every evening to preferentially discharge my EVE cells until LVD then the Victron can start discharging the Pylontech bank.

To be clear the Deye works well enough in a simple home use scenario but still needs work to become a truly pro grade inverter.

I recall earlier where you said victron isn't a DIY plug and play device....has that changed, if not best you always state that when recommending victron, b4 a newbie listens to your advice and goes to buy victron, but gets stumped and finds out, he cant install and use right out the box

las las...aliexpress has made it clear from day 1 that custom duty payment is the buyers headache...the initial money you paid was for shipping --- doesn't include custom duty.
