Health / Woman Puts To Bed After 13years Without A Child... See How And Full Story by Easymoney00101(m): 11:16pm On Oct 01, 2020
After 13 years in marriage with 3 failed IVF, and bilateral blocked tubes (both tubes blocked) a certain woman in Lagos state finally got pregnant and just delivered not too long ago....

Her sad story started turning around for good when she met the people's doctor on Instagram... A female Nigerian doctor who's gifted by God with all it takes to make those who are trying to conceive, get pregnant and welcome their babies..

I happen to know her and this whole story, that's why I'm writing this now and this is something that should be on first page for my fellow Nigerians to see... There are lots of homes that are still looking for their first child... Uncle.... Aunty.. Brother... sister... Let's leave village people alone, they don't have any business with your womb or sperm... I got to discover that 99% of families looking for children are not just doing some medical things right and most of them don't know, they'll say it's village people..

Like the people's doctor would always say, a lot of TTCs(trying to conceive) are still where they are out of IGNORANCE AND THE WRONG DOCTORS THEY MEET. Don't say I didn't pass this message, grab this opportunity now.... Follow her on Instagram @ https://www.instagram.com/thepeoples_doctors/
To cut the long story short, look at their conversation, I happen to have it

Food / Food Combinations To Try During Your Stay At Home by Easymoney00101(m): 11:44pm On Apr 05, 2020
Over 70% of the world’s population are currently in their various houses, not excluding myself because of the Covid-19 pandemic. The whole thing will end soon, so let’s move on. During this period of staying at home, you may be bored of repeating meals, the same food combinations every single week. Really tiring

The issue isn’t that we don’t have enough food materials to get to eat a food combination that’ll make us happy, it is the fact that we are so used to eating that vegetable stew and some parboiled rice, so our minds can’t really combine something else and most times, we are just fine with it.

Why not try eating something else, something a normal being won’t think of, a combination choice that you’ll be proud you made. I will be taking you through some of them that will definitely not kill you but make you happy.

1. Apple Peanut Butter Sandwich

An easy food combination of your normal green or red apple + peanuts butter or Nutella would add highlights to your stay at home. Quit simple, you don’t have to garnish everything to look like what you have above. You have apples, you have peanut butter, you’re good to go.

2. Coca-Cola + Chicken

Recipes for “Cola chicken” are so abundant that Coca-Cola itself even has one on its website. While most people are more familiar with taking the soda in its drinkable form, there’s apparently something to be said for frying chicken in it too.

If you think about it, it is still a salty-sweet combo. And it’s not really much weird. Please when trying the combo, do it when your mom isn’t in the house. I don’t know the reason.

3. Chocolate + Avocado

It is mostimes called the chocolate avocado mousse. We’re not just talking about adding chocolate to your morning avocado toast, although that sounds delicious. Avocado’s creamy, buttery texture naturally lends itself to chocolate-flavored recipes, of which there are many to choose from.

Dip your toes into the flavor combinations with a creamy avocado and chocolate milkshake which features cacao powder and a quarter avocado. Something to definitely try this week.

4. Salt and pepper on apples

Apples are naturally sweet with a taste that doesn’t have comparison. So how do you think adding some hot and salty spice to your apples would taste like? Try it this week away from mom.

5. Mixing nuts

Do this with your groundnuts, cashew nuts, maybe walnuts (kinda too big).. with whatever nut you’ve gat, and you’ll have a great meal. I sometimes mix mine with chin chin and a branch of red grape. After which I see heaven.

All these above mentioned can be taken for breakfast, lunch or dinner in increased quantities or in-between meals in small quantities.

Will be resting my hands here cause I want you all to drop the food combinations that should be here at the comment session..

Agriculture / Calls Made For Coronavirus Taskforce To Support Farmers by Easymoney00101(m): 1:53pm On Mar 11, 2020
The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine is being called on to set up a taskforce to support farmers in light of coronavirus (Covid-19).

The Irish Natura and Hill Farmers’ Association (INHFA) said that the coming weeks “will be very demanding on all farmers, especially our suckler and sheep farms who will be calving and lambing down their stock”.

Colm O’Donnell, the association’s president, warned that the current situation “is stressful for farmers at the best of times, but the added pressure of poor weather conditions and the potential risk posed by the coronavirus means many farmers are in a very vulnerable position”.

Farmers need to know the support is there if they contract the virus and are unable to carry on farming. This support needs to be available through advice and on-the-ground assistance so as to avoid possible animal welfare issues.

“It is the view of the INHFA that the Department of Agriculture is best placed to co-ordinate and deliver this support,” O’Donnell added.

This support, O’Donnell argues, should involve the following;

A national taskforce involving department staff and other stakeholders such as Teagasc, Farm Relief Service, co-ops and farming organisations, which would work with other agencies, such as banks, to oversee support;

This taskforce would need to ensure farmers who may contract the virus that they can avail of state-funded illness benefit, which would rise to €305/week;
Flexibility from banks and lending institutions would also be necessary, with loan repayments rescheduled, and extended overdraft facilities, where necessary;
At the level of district veterinary offices (DVOs), manned telephone lines would be necessary to provide assistance, and for this purpose, staff should be redeployed;
Farm inspections should be suspended;
Ensuring, through co-operation among various bodies, that farmers have support in terms of labour, fodder and cash.
O’Donnell also stressed the need to get the taskforce “up and running as soon as possible”.

In the meantime, the INHFA president is calling for the immediate pay-out of balancing payments under the Green, Low-carbon, Agri-environment Scheme (GLAS) and the Sheep Welfare Sc2heme.

“Farmers need to know that there is support there for them, and the measures we have detailed here can form the basis of that support. All support measures must be accessible to all affected farmers and not have terms and conditions that exclude [farmers],” O’Donnell concluded.

Business / UK Dairy Exports Volume Exceeds Imports Level For First Time by Easymoney00101(m): 11:59am On Mar 09, 2020
Dairy product exports have outstripped imports for the first time since records began, according to the AHDB.

Figures released by HMRC show that the UK dairy trade balance – exports minus imports – was positive, in volume terms, at 95,000 tonnes during 2019.

“It is the first overall UK trade volume surplus since records started in 1997”, said AHDB Dairy analyst Katherine Jack.

Food / Coronavirus Causes Logistical Constraints In China by Easymoney00101(m): 11:12am On Mar 09, 2020
Global dairy markets remained very volatile over the last week with the impact of the coronavirus (Covid-19) on dairy commodity consumption still largely unknown.

However, logistical constraints continue to be one of the biggest factors impacting on the market because of coronavirus, according to Peter Meehan, senior commodity analyst at INTL FCStone.

Speaking to AgriLand, he said: “The ongoing log-jam of shipping containers sitting on vessels – which are unable to dock at Chinese ports – as well as the reduced number of containers being moved in and out of Chinese ports, has created a shortage of electrical plugs for refrigerated containers in areas worst affected.

“This, in turn, is likely to lead to some spoilage of perishable commodity [butter and cheese] shipments sitting in these containers.”

Last week’s Global Dairy Trade (GDT) auction reflected the “unease” in the market, posting its third decline on the trot – down 1.2%.

Nonetheless, Peter stated that this was less negative than many people in the market had anticipated prior to the auction and was regarded a “slightly bullish signal in the market”.

Peter added that Fonterra’s announcement last week that it lowered its expectations for 2019/20 milk collections by 1% – due to the drought conditions in the North Island – helped offset some of the negativity looming over the market caused by the coronavirus.

Global Dairy Trade
Of the four main products sold on GDT: whole milk powder (WMP) slipped by 0.5%; skimmed milk powder (SMP) was down 3.2%; and anhydrous milk fat (AMF) was down 1.7%.

Butter limited the downside potential for the overall index, gaining 1.0%.

“North Asian demand [which includes China, Japan and South Korea among others] was down significantly in this latest auction – dropping to its lowest level in almost four years”.

This uncertainty in the market has also seen European dairy prices continue their slide to the downside, explained Peter.

The European butter quotation slipped a further 1% this week, March 4, and is now down 4.3% over the last five weeks alone.

The Dutch and German butter quotations, Peter said, were the main drivers behind this week’s move lower – both down 1.4%.

The Dutch butter quotation has now fallen by 3.4% over the last three weeks, while the German quotation is down 3.0% over the last two weeks.

“It was a similar story for the European SMP quotation which also ground lower this week. It dropped by 1.0% this week,” said Peter.

Again, Peter noted that it was the Dutch and German quotations that drove the move lower – both down 1.6% in the week.

Four consecutive weeks of declines sees Dutch SMP sit 6.8% below where it was at the start of February, while German SMP is down 4.5% over the same period.

Agriculture / Elon Musk's Brother Wants To Transform Farming by Easymoney00101(m): 4:49am On Mar 01, 2020
Elon Musk’s brother (younger), Kimbal Musk, who was named “Global Social Entrepreneur” of the year by the World Economic Forum in 2017, started Square Roots, an indoor urban farming company based in Brooklyn, in 2016. Square Roots’ mission is to bring fresh, local food to cities around the world by empowering younger generations to participate in urban farming.

“When I was a kid, the only way I could get my family to sit down and connect was by cooking the meal,” Musk, co-founder and executive chairman of Square Roots, told CNN Business in an email.

“Getting involved with the internet, especially in the late 90’s, was very exciting and I wouldn’t change anything about those experiences, but my passion has always been food,” Musk said. “The moment Elon and I sold Zip2, our first internet company, I knew I wanted to pursue food and become a trained chef.” He moved to New York and enrolled at the International Culinary Center.

Musk said the company plans to open a Square Roots “Super Farm” — with 25 climate-controlled shipping containers, cold storage, biosecurity infrastructure and everything else needed to run a vertical farm at scale — in less than three months.

Since its inception, Square Roots has grown more than 120 varieties of crops, including greens, vegetables and strawberries.

The company isn’t the first of its kind. Startups like Silicon Valley’s Plenty, which was founded in 2013 and is backed by Jeff Bezos, are also beginning to dominate the space.

“Environmentalists, urban farmers, architects, agronomists, and public health experts, among others, have been joining this mini revolution as they partner to work out a way to salvage a food-scarce, ultra-urbanized future,” Kheir Al-Kodmany, a professor of sustainable urban design at the University of Illinois at Chicago, said in a report.

It involves various techniques, such as hydroponics, which uses mineral nutrient solutions in a water solvent; aquaponics, which uses aquatic creatures — such as fish and snails — and cultivates plants in water; and aeroponics, which grows plants in the air.

As for job creation, rapid climate change will put millions of traditional farmers out of business, but vertical farmers won’t be affected, according to microbiologist Dickson Despommier, an emeritus professor of public and environmental health at Columbia University.
