Dis post na some kind of true confession. All of us know say aside from de beta life wey we dey travel abroad for, anoda big reason wey we dey travel abroad and de country wey we dey choose, dey depend on de exchange rate of de currency of dat country money to NAIRA.
Why wey dey like to travel to countries like USA, Canada, UK and so on, na because dem currency dey high. Na one of de reason me I decide to come yankee. When you make dat dollar and den press ya calculator to see how much ee be for naira, ee dey give you confido.
Na im make when some people travel back with some dollars, and den come change am, ee go dey like say dem don make plenty money. I remember anytime I go to send money to pessin wey dey naija, I dey always notice how de cashier eye dey wide anytime I tell dem sometin like, I wan send 20,000 naija money.
Dem go ask me again if I wan send 20 or 200 naija money. For dem mind dem dey see am like say naira and dollar na same value. Den I go come explain to dem say de exchange rate dey different.
And den anytime I read for internet say naira don fall, I go confess to you say I dey take style dey happy. I know say dis one no be good tin at all. I go tell you say most naija people hia dey happy too about am. You go see as dem dey arrange to send money back home for dem relatives to change dollars for dem.
Dis recent time wey naira fall well well, we see as dollars just overflow for naija. Most of dos money come from yankee. Yes..., I know dat one for sure. And all of us see how de tin wan nearly collapse naija economy. Tank God say CBN come decide to stop de flow of too much dollars to de economy.
And dis one come dey make me dey tink about dis exchange rate tin. We wey dey for abroad go dey always complain say naija economy no dey good. When you see naija people dey talk, na so dem go dey curse politicians of how dem dey spoil de economy, and also dey complain how de naira dey fall everyday. And all of us dey always act like say na we holy pass.
But when de naira fall as ee happen last month, you go see as dis same naija people go rush to send foreign currency back home, and den over flood de market. Den pessin go begin wonda weda we dey pray for de economy to always dey bad, and den dey always pretend like say we care about naija economy.
Na wa oo! No be secret say people wey dey abroad get serious SUPERIORITY complex to dos wey still dey back home. Everybody know dat one. But how many of us know say we fit dey contribute to awa bad economy indirectly with dis over flooding of awa own naija economy with foreign currency?

President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed William Babatunde Fowler as the Executive Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), a statement by Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser to the President, Media and Publicity, has said.
Mr. Buhari, according to the statement, also appointed Aliyu Yahaya Gusau as Director-General , Budget Office of the Federation.
Mr. Fowler, the new FIRS boss, was the Chief Executive Officer/Executive Chairman of the Lagos State Board of
f Internal Revenue from 2005 to 2014.
He had his higher education in the United States where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin and a Master of Business Administration degree from the California State University.
Before joining the service of the Lagos State Government, Dr. Fowler worked in the banking sector for about 20 years with long stints at Credit Lyonnais Nigeria Limited and Chartered Bank.
Under his leadership, the Lagos State Board of Internal Revenue reportedly achieved a sharp increase in internally generated revenue from an average of N3.6. billion per month in January 2006, to an average of about N20.5 billion per month in 2013.
Fowler, who holds an Honorary Doctorate Degree of the Irish International University, is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and the Business Management Association of the United Kingdom.
He will serve as Acting Executive Chairman of FIRS until his appointment is confirmed by the Senate.
Mr. Gusau’s appointment as DG of the Budget Office, is with effect from August 18, 2015 and is for a term of four years, renewable for another four years, unless he attains the retirement age of 60 years or completes 35 years of pensionable service.

The South-West zone had 14,296,163 registered voters, which represented 19.44% of the total number of voters nationwide. In terms of national electoral strength, the zone was number 2. Taking into account the electoral behaviour of the South-West since independence, the zone has proven itself, without exception, of incapable of voting anyone other than its own.
In the 1st Republic, it voted mainly Action Group in favour of Chief Obafemi Awolowo with about 69% voters’ turnout.
In the 2nd Republic, it voted 78.75% of its total votes cast for UPN in favour of Chief Awolowo, with 70% voters’ turnout.
In the June 12, 1993 presidential election, the pattern was repeated more or less the same, except that the total percentage of SDP’s votes in favour of Chief MKO Abiola rose up to 84.5% in the zone.
In the 1999 presidential election, mainly because the only two candidates for the presidency were both from the South-West, the zone’s voters’ turnout was abysmally low (48.09%) with about 68% of the votes cast to APP in favour of Chief Olu Falaye. 2003 also recorded poor voters’ turnout with 71% of votes cast for Obasanjo’s PDP.
In 2011, with no South-Western candidate fielded by any of the major parties, the South-West voted PDP when a functional alliance with the CPC failed to field in Sen. Why would any Yoruba person dare utter such word like 'accommodating' other people in Lagos - a city developed with crude oil money and by the communal efforts of every tribe in Nigeria for close to a century; as if Yorubas feed other people and give out lands for free?
If Yorubas didn't want any Igbo man to own a part of their land, why did they sell their lands to them in the first place? Why should thecYoruba man collect over N300 million from an Igbo man just to sell a plot of land to him in Ikoyi; collect taxes and other tenement rates from Igbo man and yet, they will not want him to claim rights of a landlord? Did any Igbo man stop you from buying properties, lands and other assets in Igboland and laying claims as a landlord?
When did Orji Uzor Kalu's outburst that Lagos is a no man's land represent the opinion of over 70 million Ndigbo. Yorubas are aborigines in Lagos state. But if they decide to sell their fathers' properties to an Igbo man and collect his hard earned money and come back later to trespass, they should be jailed! Did anybody compel Yorubas to sell Igbos lands? Enough of this ethnic bigotry.
Asiwaju conducted census in Lagos state and told us that the Igbos are 45% of Lagos population, Yorubas are 47% and others make up the other number.
The Igbos are not daft or cowards to be threatened to vote for a particular candidate in Lagos 2015 gubernatorial election. It is so pathetic for Oba Rilwanu Akiolu to do so!
Between the Igbos and Yorubas, which of them constantly display insensitivity, crass disrespect, mindlessness arrogance and continued to insult the dignity and sensibility of other people using their numerous media outfits to heat up the polity, creating enmity and problems in the country and still foolishly think they are the 'sophisticated' tribe? Igbos have been killed in the North since 1940s, long before independence. They have continued to be killed in the North up till present. Igbos survived the war because they are very resilient.
Yorubas and their co-travellers accuse Igbos of being greedy. That Igbo's love for money is insatiable, while every other Nigerian groups hate money! Abacha, Gowon, Obj, IBB, Danjuma, Abiola, etc, heartless men who looted the Nigerian treasury dry, is any of them Igbo?
If there is any one tribe in the world that values and protects the stranger that tribe is Igbo. Igbos permeate almost every nook and cranny of the country, peacefully and immensely contributing their quota to the economic advancement of the locals and the country at large. I am yet to read Igbos on rampage causing havoc and fighting their 'host'. Igbos network with their 'host', build business empires and some of them even get married to their 'host', all for peaceful co-existence and building bridges. But what do the Igbos get in return for this patriotic display of One Nigeria - threats and destruction of their lives and properties by the so called 'host'? Igbos are being harassed, molested and their legal businesses distrupted on regular basis by the 'host' and its government.
Oba Rilwanu Akiolu of Lagos even went as far as threatening to drown Igbos in the Lagoon if they did not vote for his candidate in the last 2015 election. And a good number of Yorubas hailed and supported their Oba for the bold step - Dr Ariyo, Kunle Afolayan etc.!
YORUBA LEADERS SOWED THE SEED OF TRIBALISM AND RUINED NIGERIAN ECONOMY
Many of the achievements of the Yoruba tribe is largely due to the fact that they have been unjustly favoured by the lopsided arrangement in the polity. That's why a great number of Yorubas would prefer the status quo to remain. A number of Yorubas have used the unjust system to their advantage, looting the treasury with reckless abandon. Yoruba leaders wrecked this country and brought her to the present miserable state!
When a couple of distinguished past nationals like Nnamidi Azikiwe did their best to promote national patriotism even to the disadvantages of their own people, the likes Obafemi Awolowo used their positions to entrench hatred, bitterness, tribalism, nepotism and religious bias in the polity for their selfish gains. The latter are still being held in high esteem by their tribesmen, and they even use any means to shove it down the throats of other people.
Informed people are not deceived by Yoruba usual shouting, crying, weeping, wailing, yelling, cursing and making much noise on every available media. This a tribe that is after all well known for being loose cannons. Uncouth, uncivilised and disrespectful set of people who made a career out of abuse and slurs.
If there is any southern tribe that have gained much from this fraudulent union, it is the Yoruba tribe!
Yoruba tribe have only flourished at the expense of others courtesy of the unjust system!
In saner climes many Yoruba leaders should have been behind bars spending the rest of their miserable lives for the great looting of our commonwealth.
Inspite of the crass looting of the treasury by many Yorubas, Yoruba land still remains one of the illiteracy and poverty stricken regions in Nigeria! Yoruba achievements have not in any way given her people a better welfare than the Igbos.
Whichever way the loudmouthed tribalists turn, one is certain - they must be made to eat their words!
The bottom line remains that guilty conscience is the problem of many Yorubas which has practically beclouded their sense of judgement. They taunt the Igbo with images of the Biafran war. They brag to these victims of their genocidal exploits in the war; how Adekunle murdered innocent youths in their prime and how their god Awolowo used starvation policies to create kwashiorkor-ridden children. And they think these things don't irk the common Igbo youth.
The Igbos have done much and achieved much for themselves and Nigeria. Whatever negative impression you get from any quarter is as result of envy - the pull-him-down syndrome. But that has not deterred Igbos from waxing stronger and excelling in almost every socio-economic index.
In the light of this, it is very unjust to accuse Igbos of not being tactful and strategic or not building bridges just because they seek a legal way of determining their destiny. Stating that Igbos are not building bridges or not reasonable is all hogwash and amounts to nothingness.
'One Nigeria' seems to be just for self benefit - anybody or tribe who is benefiting from it, be it in civil service, politics and business through monopoly, backed by evil structures put in place by past leaders will not agree that Nigeria should be restructured or otherwise. So many lives have been sacrificed and are still being sacrificed to keep Nigeria one at the expense of some people. Rather than challenge the gross inequality and injustice (quota system, false census figure, lopsided local government areas) in thepolity these tribalists still consider it right to fabricate and spread malicious messages to score political points that are bound to boomerang.
Igbos may go through pains in the beginning, but majority are resolute fighters and never quitters. They are very confident of overcoming like they did after the Biafran war.
Whatever Igbos may be going through now is part of the struggle. Freedom isn't given, it's taken. Definitely, there is no pain, no gain.
The typical Igbo man is civil and values the sanctity of life.
No matter how hard these evil men try to cover up and silence the truth; truth is stubborn and she cannot be drowned. She is like a pack of straws that are held together and pinned down by a strong hand at the bottom of a river so that she should not be seen or heard. I took my time to go through the Ops write up,it was a nice reminder to ladies to be conscious,and mindful on who they visit but in other words it is actually passing some kind of black list to "Men" and refocusing any lady that reads that thread as " All Guys being rapist" or even making ladies have the mindset that any guy you visit these days will end up molesting you.
To. Some large extent that thread was contradictory and could be misleadin and I really want to correct some mental affiliation on that thread..
I really love where the Op is coming from but at the middle and end of the write up she made some mistakes and generalisation of opinions which is unacceptable..
Firstly, Rape is a serious issue meant to be handled,demonic men are among us.. The ladies should be careful and wise on who they play along with..

.. especially the guys, they'd probably say things like "she seduced him" "she initiated the sex" "she brought condom along" "no evidence since nobody was there
These statement is a two way thing.. It could be true that the girl actually started the move.. Let's face it, I can tell you the major reasons why men cheat these days is not that they can't stay faithful but the ways in which our girls dress.. Men are move most time by what they see which directly induces impulse to their brains.. Check out your areas how these girls dresses..provocative way without minding, for instance if you in lagos,ph you wll know what I'm saying.. A strong godly man can get loose on seeing such things. When these ladies dress in a provocative way and come visiting, that one mistake they do, and then lay on the mans bed probably exposing other parts, and so on, so many things comes into the mans mind and at the end of the day if they are being refused they could force it on.. So we should also tackle the ladies on the stuffs thay put on and move they make when with the man alone.
This same guys come here to complain about girls coming to visit them with loads of friends, why won't we come with loads of friends when we know there's a condom waiting to be used on.us
Its a good thing for girls to come visitng the guy with her friends just to be safe.. but its also a bad idea not telling the guy or informing him before coming to visit him with your friends.. I mean let's look at it this way, I'm inviting you to my house and the next thing I see is you and bunch of your followers in front of my gate, I will be kind enough to send you all back because I didn't plan for a group visitation.. Before you go visiting know the aims and objectives, you will know when a guy want to have a carnal knowledge wit you before you coming, it could bt through chatting or calls.. When guys makes statement like "I can't wait to be with you when you come" I'm so lonely,wish to be by your side all alone" things like this could tell.. Though there are other guys that won't indicate their intention not until wen they see you..but the mast conversation before coming matters a lot. Yes! And by the way you don't expect a grown man with blood running in his veins not to have condoms in his house when he isn't married.
I have personally stopped visiting guys since 3/4 years back, it's either you agree to meet me in my parents house when everyone is home or you meet me in an eatery
This is your personal opinion and lifestlye.. And remember all opinions are opinionated.. You cant simply wish or inspire other girls to behave or do like you.. I can tell so many girls do visit guys in their houses without having issue like yours. Visitng guys in church or eatery isn't the solution, the solution is be mindful and know when and when not to visit.. People do rape ladies in church or even in the girls house.. There is this real life story of a guy going to visit a girl in her house,when the dad of the girl was upstairs, the guy followed the girl to her room, at the end of the day,the guy drugged her inside her room and had her then left..and again neglecting the Ops opinion, are you telling us for people that want to be serious with eachother should always end up meeting in an eatery or your house only? I don't think so..
Idk what else to say, but i know prevention is better than cure. I pray God deliver us from these animals disguised in human clothing called men [b]
