I wasquoting someone else. I did not say Pastor Okotie is not qualified to be president of Nigeria. I just did not know how to use the quote function here.

You are wrong. It's not an African thing, it's a male thing.

The difference is that Africans accepted it as normal in the past while others did it in secret. It is a relic of the ignorant past for anyone to try and state that male unfaithfulness is more rampant with African men. How many European men have you been close to? How many of them stay long enough in their marriages?

The only country which has EVER used nuclear weapons against anyone is America!

Hope this is not a distraction, when I speak with married women, they dont have complaints about Nigerian men but the ones who always complain about Nigerian men seem to remain unmarried longer.

Kiki, Nigerian men may also have their own preferences in women and that may not include you or people with your kind of mentality. Stay with your foreign men and Pleaseeeeeeee dont run back to Nigerian men if things dont work out.

It's very refreshing to read people desiring honourable men for the Nigerian political scene. I have the utmost respect for the person and office of Pastor Okotie and I have no doubt that, under normal circumstances, he would be a great leader. However, I have my doubts because we are talking about Nigeria. The main problem with Nigeria is corruption and unncessary waste of resources. I see Pastor Okotie as a man who will spend and try to govern Nigeria as if Nigeria is already a Western Nation, this will lead to a waste of resources. The reason I hold this belief is the elaborate flamboyance of his lifestyle. Such flamboyance, in my opinion, is not what Nigeria needs at the present time. Nigeria needs leaders who will not spend excessive; we need prudence in public life (very few Nigerians have that kind of mental orientation).

Okotie, to me is the best of all the known candidates so far but we need to make him understand that Nigeria can ill afford flamboyance and excessive spending. We need a government which will not throw money away needlessly, a President which will not feel the need to bribe senators in order to stave off impeachment, we need senators who will see their position as one of service and not their 'opportunity' to get rich and save their friends and relative from poverty.

If I could vote, I'd have no choice but to vote for Pastor Chris but I'd do so with reservations.

The only country that have ever used nuclear weapons is America. Yet, America champions the cause that other nations should not possess nuclear weapons! I would support every nation having nuclear weapons as a deterrent against ever-increasing American and western aggression in their quest for wealth and conquest.

If everyone has it, it deters every other nation from attacking and there'll be mutual respect rather than a one-way streak in which america steals wealth from every other nation and you either support america or be damned, it's bullying. America develops more nuclear energy/weapons continuously but wants other nations to come for handouts rather than develop their own nuclear capabilities for self-sustenance.

It's nothing but bullying and it's unfair.
