I would rather advise that you write your UK exams plab 1 and plab 2.. work in the UK and apply from the UK to Australia.
Expect you are happy to be out of practice for the next 3-4 years.
I have seen a lot of doctors so depressed after taking this route you intend to follow.

Rough estimate:

2 semesters school fees is equal to #9,000,000.00
3 months upkeep @ 120 AUD/week @ 250 # 360,000.00
6 months rent @ 400 AUD/week @250 #2,400,000.00
2 Children school fees for 3 months @350 per child per week #2,100,000.00
A small car estimated at 2500AUD #625,000.00
Visa fee for all 4 family members estimated at #1,600,000.00
Air ticket for all 4 estimated at #2,000,000.00
Logistics #1,000,000.00
Total #19,085,000.00

God forbid, I can't kill myself. The best i can raise out of this amount is only #14,000,000.00

Hence the option of your wife coming and settling first.
Best option is you all apply for the visa and get it.
Then only your wife come first, settle down b4 you and kids join her..

@ ebere272, I saw your response on my comment.

please how much do you think will be the minimum required.

We are a family of 4.

Depends on the age of the kids..
Consider which state you are moving to...
If you staying in the city, you should have at least the 2nd semester fees of your wife..
Upkeep money for at least 3 months...
Money for rent and car too..

I feel your dilemma, I was once in your shoes. Best advice would be to apply for everyone at once (if you get the funds) if not please just your wife cos bringing your 2 kids would be so stressful and exhausting.
I would not is an easy experience but you would be alright after a while.
Yes, we are using the students visa as a means to an ends: PR.

But my major worry is, if I raise #13m and all of us jet out of this country on her student visa, will I be able to get work to support the family?

From my computation, the #13m will be able to pay her first semester fees about, #4m; pay for accommodation for six months about #2.4m; feeding for about six months, pay for Visa application, air ticket and other logistics.

Alternatively, can I send my wife and my two children, while I stay in back to hustle more and possibly join them later.

Please I need advice from experienced persons here.

My major aim of wanting to leave this country is to give my children the best of education.

Please, I need your candid advice.

What do you need help with?..

You can actually assess as a chemical engineer. There is strong relationship between chemical engineering and petroleum. Explore the aspect of chemical engineering in your CDR.

Otherwise, assess as a petroleum engineer and hope a state will start nominating it in the next financial year.
Could I consult privately am onshore, really need more guidance. I have finished writing my cpds, I know you are not an Engineer but you have had vast knowledge with EA, I thought about assessing for chemical Engineering but I just afraid if I would assessed as a professional engineer because of cpd.
I need help going through what I written.
Thanks
I have read a lot of information am getting a bit confused

Some states specifically demand to tick only their state in the EOI for state nomination. Go through each state requirements then open different EOI for state that request to tick only them.
Hello Oga bellong,
My occupation just got added to list, petroleum engineering.
I am about starting the assessment with EA,
Although I can't find any state nomination for petroleum engineering.
What's your advice, I can't find anyone with petroleum engineering assessment or invite.
Also, I saw online the invite is at 80 but I am only able to get 70 from my points.

Good day all,
I just received a Refusal Mail and 3 years ban from Australian Embassy.
I called them on Friday morning and was told my application will be finalized this week.

I callled them today to remind them of my start date. I was told it has been finalized and sent to migration officer for assent. The case officer that actually handled my application is Valdinah.
The Devil wants me to turn to evil and believe there is no God. There is God my dear.

Action taken already!..
-Called the Operational Bank manager of the Bank, he was expecting good news from me but hearing this he was shocked.
He told me that the Branch nor their head office in Lagos received any such mail from the embassy for confirmation from the bank and how come they reached conclusion of such.
The letter to my sponsor that I submitted was also cleared by their legal department in Lagos.
He has assured me of their support in any way the bank can help.

I spoke to a lawyer, we have agreed, he will write to the Embassy and copy the Bank as well, mandating the Embassy to carry out their personal investigation from the bank. Also that if the embassy did not want to give me visa that they should overturn the ban because at no point did my sponsor( Father ) submitted any bank statement that is not genuine.

Tomorrow, I will be heading to the lawyers office as today normallly is their Court proceedings for cases in court.
I will welcome any input and advice on the way forward.
Some persons that knows me outside this platform knows what i am saying. You may choose to believe or you may choose not to believe either.

My concern is that 3 years Ban, it will tarnish my record because of their inefficiency, laziness, carefree attitude and poor judgement to verify documents. My mum has been praying, prayer of death to any persons or officials involved in this unfair decision. I can't blame the old woman because she has been part of the process and seeing this one questions if truely God still exists, yes their is God, today, now and forever more.

I doubt these guys really verify documents from what has happened to me.
Thanks for all support and prayers!..

For those still waiting, be hopeful and believe in God.
People's faith and destiny are different!....
I will follow up with the lawyer and the Bank as regards to the letter they will be writing to the embassy.

Am short of words, but I know there is a God that sees everything pls my brother keep hope alive,it is well.
