I travelled from Abuja to Ibadan via arik air at 35weeks without a safe to fly note.

I made sure i didnt look that far gone. I put on a very free gown that concealed my bump well plus a big scarf wrapped around me, no pushing of tummy out or waddling style of walking.

Meanwhile there was another pregnant woman aboard whose tummy was quite obvious and looked like she could birth anytime soon, the flight was delayed just so she could go get her “safe to fly” note.

Bottom line is just look smart and conceal your tummy as much as you can provided you are not at any risk medically.

Since you said bump is portable, you’re good to go.

PS: Travelling later than 36weeks isn't advisable ooo abi u want to give birth to "abiona" lol.
Pls make ur trip earlier than 36weeks.

Pls help me choke mouth for my matter o, all my life have always have phobia for hospital that anytime am going there like this my heart will be beating very fast and I will be curious about what is going to happen there to the extent that I won't be able to hold my breath and I won't have to listen to hear my heartbeat, I registered for Antenatal 2weeks ago and as usual this my fear fear started the nurse that attended to me ask why my heart was beating so fast and I told her that am nervous she said that is why my BP read 145/90 so she told me to calm down that she will try again I calmed a little so she tried and it read 125/80, today my next appointment with my fear and curiosity my BP read 150/90 so I talked to the doctor about it, he checked my test results the urine and it was ok, he checked my legs to see if they are swollen they are fine too and he said it was my fear and anxiety that is making my BP to shoot up and that he will look into it in my next appointment... It's a private hospital. My question now is can fear and anxiety actually increase BP or should I just go and register in a general hospital? Any if it's actually my anxiety, how can I overcome it? Pls don't jump pass...

after using the toilet this morning, i was wiping and saw blood, like very bright red blood.

I kept wiping, and still more blood,

but afterwards, that was it, nothing more.. ive not seen anything since then, and I dont feel any kind of pain.. so im not worried.

i heard its normal to spot once in a while while pregnant. this the first time im spotting.

I want to believe this is normal, I'm 8 weeks 7days. almost 9 weeks

Happy Sunday to all the expectant mothers in the house. Please help inform me, I don't know if my condition is normal or not. I am a first timer mother. Got my result last week but the rate at which I feel nausea is alarming, funny enough I don't vomit but the feeling to is so severe. It has given a great discomfort and I feel as if life is slowly choking out from me.


I met with a doctor who said nothing could be done about the symptoms until after the first trimester. I have googled and ask for different opinions but nothing seem to be relieving it. I have added prayer to it. It just get worse everyday, I lose apetite as each day passes. I have been on folic acid, Vit. B complex, multivitamins and felruse(Red blood tonic capsule), add ginger to my drinks and water. Nothing is helping.

Please what am I doing wrong? Senior Colleagues please help coz I can't bear this for 3months.

Team september.How are we holding up?
I had to go to the hospital on wednesday due to light contractions and mucus discharge.I am currently 32 weeks.Doctor scanned me and said cervix was closed and no fetal distress.He gave me ampicilin and salbutamol to stop the contractions.He ordered strict bed rest of 16hours per day.I went to work and my boss told me to leave the office and give her a call when baby comes(8weeks)!
Blood pressure 90/55.
I have been home since wed and its not easy just lying down.woke up around 5:00am with those contractions again.Hubby made me a cup of tea and I ate with two slices of bread.It stopped and i am lying in bed as i type feeling sorry for myself.
I am tired!!!!!!

the funniest thing was that the next day being Sunday, the chief matron was walking around and waving complaint forms and asking who has any but I was too traumatized to take any action. all I had in my brain was go home go home go home.

that fall I had about two days before combined with the rough birth messed up my hips and I was unable to work after I was taken to the ward and left there, I dragged my self to the bathroom and began to wash away the blood all over me

to come to the bed now became wahala. it was a fellow mother that rushed me, held me and guided me to the bed that my baby hasw already being kept. I was a tearful mess and just kept saying thank you ma.

I was sobbing as I couldn't lift my leg onto the ward bed and that was when other mamas in the ward got angry and started demanding that they should allow someone to stay with me as I was obviously inacapable. the ward nurse was saying it is against hospital policy.

but the intervention of the other mums now made her come to me and ask what was the matter, I told her about the fall and the non functioning hips and she now gave me sleeping injection.

my story full book oo and I cry whenever I recall it but I hope the unburdening will make some of the pain go away.

Abeg I need help, this is my second preg. and am about 28wks I geuss, edd is Oct 5. The problem is this, I find it difficult to cross my legs, change sitting positions, turn in bed and also walk short distances e.g. from the sitting room to kitchen because of serious pains around my pelvis. I checked Dr Google and I found an article with the name symphysis pubis dysfunction and I really got scared. Sabi mama's abeg torchlight my matter. Thanks

Benigna dear pls I would appreciate it if u can look for mr and mrs. Its a Nigeria movie. And War Room is an American movie. A friend gave me to watch some months back, it was helpful. Im thinking since u av till month end to travel, anything can change before that time. And peace and love can be restored in your home. Mr and Mrs and War Room. Pls try and watch this two movies pls I beg u. Am not a film person but I Neva regretted watching it.it helped me. It can also help u.

I see why you have plenty "common enemies" here on this platform. Even when you pass a valid or vital information you do it in a very unpolite and most times rude way. I had to go read your past posts and in most cases you are either attacking or defending, never really communicating. I think you should work on it. You can make comments without making people feel slighted or insulted.

I just came back from Lab nau and my report reads:

Gravid uterus with a single intra uterine gestation sac is demonstrated, there is NO FETAL POLE or ACTIVITY WITHIN THE SAC YET.
GSD:20.0mm
EGA:6weeks 2days (instead of 7weeks 2days)

I was asked to repeat d scan in 2weeks but I'm worried sick about it. Pls mums, isn't there supposed to be a fetal pole by nau? Even heartbeat sef?
I hope dis doesn't indicate any problem?
