21 days? Haa this is new to me. Please go to another Dr preferably a gynaecologist/ fertility doctor. due to history of miscarriage and TTC I started seeing one at 6 weeks ( about a week after missed period) he placed me on gestone injections and cyclogest pessaries did a scan at 8 weeks and 12 weeks. To the Glory of God we are 17 weeks plus now and all is well.

Big congratulations to all the new mamas. Thank God for the deliveries and the BFPs. God is truly great and mighty in our midst. @ iyomomoreloaded thank you for the lovely, inspiring scriptures.

Mamas abeg put mouth for this matter ooh...my period is two days late today (CD31). Early morning urine test is negative while blood test is positive. I did both today...is this normal?

good news! Congratulations. Blood test is surer than test strips. Blood detects it earlier. Relax, take things easy, no rough play be mindful of what you eat, no peppersoups for now. No indiscriminate use of drugs. What else? Congrats again

hmm.. in summary I was booked for cs course of babies weight but as God would have it she came earlier in a kinda supernatural birth. Water broke in my sleep, got up discovered I couldn't put my legs together, called doctor baby came out in less than 30 mins of course I was given a generous tear by the doctor. But thank God it healed very well. I did the sitz bath religiously. Healed very well.

babies love protocol and respond/follow a pattern they're used to. From start whenever you feed make sure they burp, wait a few mins then put them down Even if still wide awake. I usually put mine in her bouncer so she's not completely flat. Whenever she cries I don't pick her up immediately especially when I'm sure she's well fed, diapers dry. Some people use pacifier but I didn't. Also used music box it was a gift that thing helped greatly. Also had that type that displays and projects colourful patterns on the ceiling so she's distracted from me. I didn't allow hubby carry her too much too. Playtime is playtime and when it's time for bath(usually same time everyday), sleep etc she just dozes off especially that her bouncer helped. It's a gradual process just be patient with her.

Today was my antenatal , I was told to do ,scan, guess what my baby weighs 3.8kg. I'm 39 weeks and some days..... Edd is so close. Don't know what to do. Scared of eating sef

free yourself dear. Don't be angry eat normally you're already there or maybe cut out Milo, refined carbohydrates etc Just to encourage you my first weighed 4.1kg and 2nd 5.5kg both VD no complications. You can do it by God's grace. Be encouraged. NOTE for the 1st I ate anyhow for the 2nd I was extra careful almost starved sef.

Dis vigil didn't easy,wat I do now is leave d breast in his mouth n I kip checking to nsure is not blocking his nose dat way,evryone sleeps!Now we are wide awake n staring at each oda!

lol baby Jay. Except you're a stay at home mom that breast in the mouth thing to sleep sabi spoil babies o. It makes them clingy I did it with my first and I heard nwii. My mom warned back then to stop it since I would be resuming work at 3 months I refused (first time mom syndrome ) that my baby showed me pepper. I ended up resuming work with her + Nanny it still wasn't easy. At a point I had to resign, waited till she clocked one, put her in creche and went job hunting again. Weaning her was quite traumatic for both of us. She was my handbag everywhere I went she went. I used to carry her all the time. For my 2nd I heeded moms advice the babe was just an angel flowing with everyone. Not clingy at all. Weaned herself at 7months.

Memories.....Initially scary being it was my first time, was alone, no guide, just my phone and Google! Till a total stranger very kind woman put me through. I won't forget that route in along time. I can still remember the public address system on the train clearly...this is pinelawn your next stop is farmingdale then bethpage hicksville, Jamaica finally Penn station I took that ride to and fro daily for 2weeks. Happily roamed the streets of Manhattan till evening then back to my host in long island. Moved on to Dallas but I still prefer N.Y. anytime

amoxyl is relatively safe in pregnancy. Most gynaes are very comfortable prescribing amoxyl.

Amen. Congrats teamie for registering for ANC lol.As for pcv just keep up with ugu and did they add ferrous to your ANC meds?

After so much procastination I decided to carry my big chest to register ANC today,Chai I just dey waka up and down it got to a stage I told one of d nurses make she give give me 10min cos I dey hungry....
Urine tested + to protein and after thinking all dis while I be blood group A RH+ I realised I be O RH+…
My PVC was also kinda low 29%(liver and ugu go hear am) was also give my 1st Tetanus injection....

Its not even CD 27 but cd28( I just checked my period calendar), might even be cd29 cause AF showed face on a Thursday but I didn't count it cause the flow wasn't much....well I no dey do hpt, I even forgot I had hpt at home self...I no dey symptom spot, if af come o, okay, e no come o, glory!!! That unit don't make provision for mothers whose babies are on admission and the get like close to five to eight babies evryday i.e witin and referrals so d little space d have,mothers will have to manage n the bed space is free!

chai I can imagine. Even in single bedded rooms I'm always itching to go home, not to talk of sharing. It is well Thank God you're home now.

Me ma d environ don tire me,u have to share a bed!d toilet condition is story 4 anoda day and I neva start sit baths dat was wat I tld the doc!The doc beg me n boo to give her till monday dat Jay has fever and she wants to change d meds and I can go hme,do my bath n relax n come back the following mrn!Well,we decided to give her a chance!When I came back sunday mrn,i went straight to pick my baby n dat was wen I notice dat the nurses were beefing me real time cos I told d doc abt the pressure d mount on one!i sha no send dem,my Jay was looking better n they had to augment his feeding wit nan!Monday morning,after deir rounds,we were discharged!They nurses were just asking me why I was all smiles,i sha no ansa cos I cldnt wait to reach hme n wash dis hospital 4rm my bdy,eat n sleep like a baby!

you can't take annual and maternity leave in a year, but if you do, it will be deductible from your maternity leave, therefore take 5days leave go for the vacay, when applying for maternity leave, they can deduct it from your maternity, 5days isn't that much. This is assuming your company operates this way o

hmm...5 days is risky for a pregnant woman o, It's too short. Increased risk of embolism, thrombosis echeteram echeteram.
