I am so so sorry for my long absence. It's not something I can explain now, but one that you will understand when I tell you though.


The rare times I have been online was to follow up on your story, and it has been simply amazing. However there are a lot of typographical errors here and there. I am glad you did not mix up names though. Work on your tenses. You seem to be accustomed to switching words making some sentences sound off, I would also advice you work on how you switch between personal thoughts and actual words. Then, your narration should be balanced. Consistency matters in the language you have adopted to use. Which one are you more comfortable in? The English language or the pidgin? You mix the two in a sentence, making you sound like the typical Nigerian, however bear in mind that as an author, that will not be an excuse when it comes to churning out beautiful literary works.

It is his gift that is at work. If you read through Ellen's description of his gift, she believes that his gift is another being entirely. His coming to the forgotten lands was to learn how to tame and become one with his gift, 'cos his gift would always act on instincts. You don't teach a newly turned vampire how to feed.
Solomonbrown64, I'm hoping for a more detailed reply to this.

Magic and sword skills can never be the same. His gift and rage propels him, he may be relying on his skill as a hunter to fight, but that is most likely limited to the use of short knives, bow and arrow, but this is too skilled na. The gorgdands are ungifted, can't be harmed with magic, yet trained as royal assassins and are very ruthless. Merlin with all his gift/magic is a poor choice on field and physical war.

Explain to me how a hunter should be as skillful as a trained warrior without any episode showing his physical training other than him being called a hunter and being tutored in the use of magic by the witches. Someone must have taught him sword skills at a point na, question is when? Was it before or after his family's murder?

Coincidentally, that was the night you resumed from your "sabbatical". Secondly, welcome back and happy belated birthday, wishing you more of God's favour and a fulfillment of your great destiny. Thirdly, there are so many notable errors in your tenses,tautologies, names and using of words where not necessary,one good example was when Kieran looked back after his last meeting with Vannessa, instead of "after" that was used, it should be "before". Your style of writing is still superb and enthralling. I love it! Finally, EbonyQueen001 found you Solomonbrown64 yesternight and she is not letting go.. Kudos so far!

Wonderful update... The update before the last has some notable errors... Jason calling Richard "Dad" as if he is Taylor, then switching back to "Coach". Still no info on how Anthea escaped the holding spell. You held me spellbound. Thats cool!

Anyways, to your questions.... I think I have explained how she was able to merge the creatures. The price was paid which was Richard's kids and that enabled Anthea to go through with her plans. I have explained the Damien and Luke part and that ofOllie too. How Anthea left Richard's hold will be explained later.

There are some noted errors in your work, i will point them out later. What is Audrey doing to safeguard lucy and the baby, since much has not been said about her and the baby, the stage her pregnancy is etc. What is actually Taylor's role in this novel, she seems to be after something and believes Jason to be gullible and accept her like that; distracting him with those "errect" something.

I drop my comment and correction pen and await the next update.
