Following accusations that a Nigerian shop owner identified as Cynthia connived with the Irish woman’s Nigerian partner to snatch her daughter, an angry Irish woman stormed the Nigerian shop in Dublin and destroyed items.

It was gathered that the Irish woman relationship with the Nigerian man, Kelechi Jude, many years ago produced a daughter and the Nigerian man whose visa would be expiring few days after the birth of their daughter, quickly ensured that his name was inputted as the baby’s father at the Birth Certificate Registry office. This all happened so he would be recognized as the father of an Irish child as well as spouse to an Irish woman, which would earn him more rights to stay in the country.

Their relationship which ended after the Irish woman welcomed a second child who is autistic, and from what she said in the video, her estranged husband Kelechi connived with the shop owner, Cynthia, to whisk their daughter away, and her storming the shop to destroy things was a payback.

The shop owner Cynthia who called the Police, however didn't press charges against the Irish woman who couldn't give any coherent explanation for her actions.

Dancehall Artist, Bounty Killer, has reacted to the release of Ishawna’s new single ‘Equal Rights’, with lyrics which asked Jamaican men who want to get a Mouth Action, to also give their women head.

However, the song’s lyrics has generated lots of controversy, as it is believed that giving a female MouthAction is “unGodly” in Jamaica.

Embattled leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has declared that only death can stop him from ensuring the restoration of Biafra.


Kanu made the declaration while addressing worshippers at the Jew Sabbath service in his country hometown of Abia State, on Saturday.

The IPOB leader, who is clearly going against his bail conditions, maintained that Biafra will be achieved in the “next few months.”

Recall that the Justice Binta Nyako-led Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, while granting Kanu bail, warned that the IPOB leader must not be in company of more than 10 persons.

But, Kanu while addressing the rally said, “We have history on our side, we have determination on our side, we have intelligence on our side and we are practically unstoppable.”

The IPOB leader also said there will be no election in the South East if the Nigerian government fails to yield to his demands.

“It is left to them how they want to play it. If they don’t give us what we want, there will never be elections in Biafraland,” Kanu warned.

Kanu stressed that his singular purpose on earth was “to restore Biafra.”

Nigerian Senator from Kogi State, Dino Melaye who gave us the famous ‘Ajeku ya noje’ single, has taken to Instagram to share a photo of his two sons rocking an agbada with him.

Following the report that US Supreme Federal Court in NewYork reportedly slammed an injunction against musical artist Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu popularly known as Burna Boy, preventing him from performing at any event venue or any form of recording anywhere in USA & Canada for the time being unless he settles with the New York- based promotion company, Vibesland Entertainment, LLC, founded by promoter/producer, Niyi Fatogun, the artiste has debunked the report.

Vibesland Entertainment, LLC, was said to have invested up to $25,000 US Dollars in preparation and facilitating the tour, however their issue started after the promoter, Vibesland Entertainment, LLC, obtained USA Work Permit approval visa for artiste, then Burna Boy failed to honour the contractual agreement.

The promoter, Niyi Fatogun, hired professional entertainment lawyer, Takena Barango to represent Vibesland Entertainment, LLC, on Wednesday May17th, 2017, at the Supreme Court in New York.

The judge ordered a court injunction on Burna Boy outside US Tour, until Burna Boy Ltd settles the promoter for the financial loss Vibesland Entertainment, LLC, suffered due to breach of trust.

Burnaboy’s team, however, denied that their artiste has been banned from performing. They explained their own side of the story via messages sent to Roralae.

It was also revealed that the said promoter had extended an even longer arm of reconciliation by travelling down to London, so they could sort the issues out but Burnaboy failed to meet with him. This was the reason due to the damages accumulated – that the promoter got an injunction banning the singer from performing in the U.S. and Canada until all issues are resolved.

However Burna Boy's team have released a press statement;

“Burna Boy fans and the general public are hereby informed that Burna’s current US tour and all upcoming shows are going forward as scheduled and that any website or article containing information to the contrary is patently false and misleading.

Vibesland Entertainment, LLC, Burna’s former promoter, has initiated a misinformation campaign designed to mislead the public about recent court proceedings in the New York federal and state courts. In a recent press release Vibesland has dishonestly represented that it has received an injunction barring Burna from playing his upcoming shows.

The Nigerian Police Force Niger State command, has declared a 65-year-old Fulani herdsman wanted for the killing of 27 people in the State.

It was gathered that he masterminded the dastardly attack on Epogi village, Mokwa LGA of Niger State on 13/05/2017 killing 27 persons.

Coming after Manchester City FC accepted a £24m bid for Kelechi Iheanacho from premier league side West Ham, the footballer is now the most expensive Nigerian player. Kelechi Iheanacho will be undergoing his medical tomorrow.

With the amount West Ham is splashing on him, Kelechi became the most expensive Nigerian player as his fee eclipsed the 20 million pounds Chanchung Yatai paid for Odion Ighalo, for his transfer from Watford.

Iheanacho will team up with West Ham on a permanent deal, with Manchester City having the option of buying him back after two years ‎according to reports gathered by Owngoalnigeria.

The 20 year old lost his spot at Manchester City following the arrival of Gabriel Jesus, who pushed him further down the pecking order leading to the forward missing out on some of the matchday squad of manager Pep Guardiola.

The happiness of a mother of triplets have been cut short, after she was reportedly detained in a General hopsital in Benue State, over her unpaid medical bills two weeks after the children were delivered.

Facebook user Ukan Kurugh, disclosed that the couple Mr and Mrs Dennis Anongo need the sum of N77,600 to pay the medical bills, so they can take their children home. Here’s what he wrote about the incident;

Successful delivery of children calls for celebration among parents, the story of Mr. & Mrs. Dennis Anongo comes with mixed feelings as his wife, Mrs. Kwaghaondo was delivered of triplets (2 boys and 1 girl) at the General Hospital, North-Bank, Makurdi. Amidst this joy, they have been unable to foot the hospital bill of Seventy Seven Thousand, Six Hundred Naira (N77,600), a reason for which the hospital has refused them departure.
While I was at the hospital this afternoon, one of the nurses, Sewuese who called my attention told me in confidence that, since birth, the children have not added in weight hence they were malnourished due to the mother’s poor feeding, which in turn has also affected them. It is incontestible that, at this time, enhanced feeding is deserved for a mother who has just put to bed and the nature of her feeding has overriding effects on the newborn.
The father of the children, Mr. Dennis Anongo is a peasant farmer who is resident at Atsom Village in Gwande District of Makurdi Local Government Area, a place located before Daudu on the Makurdi-Lafia road. The mother is but only a house wife who accompanies her husband to the farm.
The children which I gathered were delivered through cesarean session, which was done on the 10th of May, 2017 which means that they have been stayed at the hospital for more than 2 weeks now. Feeding is equally a challenge, hence they are of rural domicile and all the visitors from the village only come along with either pounded yam, akpu or other forms of carbohydrate foods. This has equally affected the new born babies who have not added in size since over the 2 weeks of their birth.


I sincerely wish to use this medium to reach out to the government, humanitarian organizations, spirited individuals and all members of the public to add value to the lives of these new children who are for now been starved and suffered. It’s indeed an uncommon thing of joy that the children have come, but this challenge has countered the smooth happiness the family would have celebrated.

Two fleeing 13-year-old boys, were apprehended by operatives of Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos State Police Command last Monday. It was gathered that the teenagers who fled their parents home in Abuja, were re-united with their parents on Friday.


The teenagers, Chidubem Amaechi, 13 and Chinedu Onyebuchi, 13 were apprehended by the RRS operatives of Monday morning after alighting from an Abuja bus at Ojodu Berger, Lagos. They were sighted wandering, before being invited for questioning.

The children had lied to the officers during interrogations that they were
kidnapped and blindfolded before they were driven to Lagos by their abductors. They added that they escaped from their abductors while they sleeping an under bridge before Ogun –Lagos long bridge.


An investigation into their kidnapping was launched immediately and found to be false. Their parents, who had been looking for them in Abuja, since Sunday, May 14, 2017, were shocked when contacted.




It took 3 days of questioning before, Chidubem opened up that he and Chinedu connived to leave Abuja because of the poor states of the parents.


According to Chidubem, “we noticed that our parents were suffering in order to take of care us.

We decided to come to Lagos and work for sometimes. Whatever we were able to raise in six months, we would handover to our parents for them to start business. We realised that the hardship was too much and that we would be helping them if we leave our families in Abuja in search of better opportunities in Lagos, he stressed.

I brought my N4, 200 savings, while Chinedu added N500 as transport fare to Lagos. We were already in Lagos before we realised that we were simply being stupid. We were wandering about when the officer invited us for questioning.”


The Commander, Rapid Response Squad, ACP Olatunji Disu, who received their parents on the fifth day of being in the Command’s custody in his office, appealed to parents and guardian to monitor and take good care of their wards.


The boys were re-united and released to their parents on Friday after they had promised not repeat their actions again.

Moremi Ojudu, daughter of the Special Adviser to President Buhari on Political Matters, Senator Babafemi Ojudu, known for her unreserved criticism, has slammed Buhari's administration, after she went to buy tomatoes in Lagos.

Moremi, who was shocked to hear that a basket of tomato costs N25,000, took to social media and wrote;
'My face when I hear basket of tomatoes is N25, 000. The one in the crates, N10, 000. The small basket I bought N12, 000.

A Yaba Chief Magistrate Court, has issued a warrant of arrest on two Canadian nationals Kiranjot and Tara Matharoo, who are standing trial before it, in a case of threat to kidnap, cyber-stalking and blackmail against Nigeria billionaire and oil mogul, Femi Otedola, socialite Dapo Balogun and one Omoregie Ige, for failure to appear in court.

The court has also ordered the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, to arrest two other persons, Alhaji Waheed Shobulo and Ade Oregbensa, who stood as sureties for the sisters after they were granted bail by the court, in December 2016.

The sisters who fled the country to Canada, immediately after perfecting their bail conditions, were first arrested by police in a five star hotel, located at the Victoria Island Lagos, on December 9, 2016, when Otedola, filed a complaint to the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, detailing how the sisters, who had a Nigerian collaborator, were blackmailing him and his daughter using a gossip website known as nijagistlive.com. Otedola had told the police that the Canadian sisters had blackmailed him and threatened to kidnap members of his family, including his wife and children using their gossip website.

They were also said to have blackmailed Dapo Balogun and Omoregie Ige, through their gossip website and demanded the sum of N3.5million from Ige before pulling down the story from their website.

The IGP, was said to have directed his operatives at the Intelligence Response Team, IRT, to investigate the matter. When the Nigerian collaborator was arrested in Festac Town, Lagos, he confessed during interrogation that the did not know the Canadian sisters before then, but was only contracted on his email to design a website.

He added that he wasn’t aware that the website would be used for blackmail and that his fee of N100,000 was paid to him through a taxi driver. Vanguard gathered that the Canadian sisters were trailed to the hotel in Victoria Island where they paid the sum of N178,000 per night through the taxi driver.



A laptop containing information indicating that the sisters operated a syndicate which specialized in blackmailing wealthy Nigerians using the internet was recovered from them. Further investigation revealed that the sisters had blackmailed several billionaire businessmen, politicians, top rate musicians within the country and have extorted hundreds of thousand of dollars from them.

It was gathered that based on these discoveries, the sisters begged for clemency and vowed to shut down the website and turn a new leaf.

They were however docked on December 23, 2016, before Chief Magistrate A.O Ojo, of the Yaba Magistrate Court , on a four count charge of blackmail, threat to kidnap and cyber-stalking while a bail of N500,000 and two sureties in like sum were granted to them and the case was adjourned.

Their passports were also surrendered to the police but the sisters obtained temporary travel documents which enabled them to travel back to their country.

They failed to appear in court on their next adjourned date, prompting the magistrate to issue a bench warrant against them and their sureties. Sources revealed that the Interpol Section of the Nigeria Police Force is making moves to issue an international warrant of arrest against the suspects, which would have them placed on ‘ Red Alert’.

Meantime, Vanguard learned at the weekend, that the police have moved the case to the Federal High Court Lagos for trial, and it has been assigned to Justice Olatorungun.

According to a viral report on social media and tributes written by her friends, it has been gathered that a Business Administration student of Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPOTECH), Damilola Adegoke reportedly committed suicide by drinking "sniper". Though why she committed the said act on Tuesday is still unknown, it is alleged that Damilola's mum came back home, to find her daughter lying on the floor with an insecticide.


Friends of the deceased have expressed shock over her sudden death on Facebook;

One wrote; "No matter the circumstances, worries, troubles, disaster never look down on your self and always pray hard. It's a pity this tight friend of mine Damilola Adegoke took snipper yesterday and gave up the ghost after uploading her pics on fb. May her soul rest in peace".

Another friend, Damilola Ayanwanle said; "No amount of problem worth taking your own life , she was hardworking and highly dedicated but only her knows her personal pains and challenges, maybe she shared and you and I couldnt help her out ........ in fact nothing justify eating a poison, well farewell Damilola Adegoke we will remember you forever".

A member of 'Females in Nigeria' group on Facebook, which Charity Aiyedogbon a.k.a Chacha belonged to before she went missing, reportedly nagged her husband of 9 years to death. According to Facebook user, Azubuike Chinenye, the lady's late husband who was pushed into having a girlfriend outside his marriage, reportedly died of cardiac arrest because his wife 'won't give him peace at home.'

Here's the emotional post she wrote;

"So today I received double bad news. I am so down. I have been crying and begging God to remove this guilt. I will write about the particular one eating me up.
I met him some years ago. Such a nice man. Friendly. Free spirited. Quiet. And a good father. He came to me for advise about his marriage. He's far older than me and I respected him for meeting a small girl like me to advise him about his marriage.

He has been married for 9 years and in this 9yrs he doesn't know the meaning of peace. He hates polygamy and wants to raise his kids under one roof. His wife wasn't his first love. He visited his father and his family introduced her to him as his wife. He refused telling them he has someone already and he's waiting for her to be done with her masters. Long story short, he visited again, she was in the house, she served him his meal, he was drowsy, he managed to bath and slept off. He woke up the following day and felt uneasy like someone had sex with him.

After some months, he noticed he kept visiting home and started developing love for this girl. He tried resisting the temptation and told his love he wanted to get married, that since she's done with her masters, she should return and let him do something. She refused that she wants to stay back and do her PhD. He kept persisting until the girl broke the news that she's pregnant.

Years later, he helped her get a job, told her not to disturb spending her money in the house since he's wealthy. Unfortunately she became something else. No respect. No love. No care. Always shouting, any little thing is quarrel, today he's a fool next day he's a weakling. He's an educated man at least a PhD holder and he managed his home well, there's nothing like authority or "I'm the head", " be submissive ". He made his home a friendly place.

She became a nag, he kept enduring. Several times he reported her to her family yet she won't change. She started abusing him, became violent, killing his emotions. He has sat her down several times asking what the problem is, sometimes it is her car which he must change and he obeyed yet no peace. Another time, her phone yet no peace. Later, she needs vacation to different countries yet no peace.

Jhoy, I met a young girl at the airport when my flight was delayed. Her battery was down and she used my phone to call her brother who was to pick her up from the airport. We discussed the economy meltdown, boarded, landed and that was it. In the evening, she called to thank me for the benevolence and from then, she sends me happy new month messages and goodwill texts. I finally picked up courage to call her on her birthday that's 9 months after meeting, sadly she was hospitalized due to appendectomy. I was worried and still kept in touch. Madam, finally we started dating. Its been 2years and this girl gives me peace of mind. She respects me. Gives me business ideas which helped boost my career. She's everything I want in a woman but I'm married.

After much advise, I concluded by telling him that I don't support adultery. Try and fix your home. No woman wakes up to be abnormal towards her husband if something didn't trigger it. Please take her on a date and ask her where you've gone wrong. I pray she talks but keep me posted. He agreed.

A week later he gave a feedback that she finally opened up and said, her mother advised her to be firm so that he will have fear for her and not misbehave. I laughed through out the date and assured her that I am not that kind of man. I told her the best way to win my heart is giving me peace. I want a lovely home. A peaceful home and I promised not to give her any reason to to feel insecure. Now, how do I tell this other girl that my wife is a new person. I told him, just tell her the truth. From all you've said that girl sounds like a good person.

After a long time, he sent a chat telling me how she hasn't changed and they had a minor misunderstanding because he put the nanny's name on their business class trip to Dubai, that he should fix her younger sister not the nanny. He refused that it will be unfair of him and before he will start his car, she used her kitchen pestle to destroy my windscreen. I have been in a hotel for two days just to clear my head. I even miss my kids badly. I begged him to calm down and pray. I went ahead to request for her Facebook handle which he gave. I monitored her page and found out she's a FIN member. This night his girlfriend called to break the news that he's dead. He died of cardiac arrest. How? His wife asked him to allow her organise a children's day picnic where she'll invite her friends and he said no problem remind me on Wednesday. She seized his keys and demanded he writes a check immediately. He insisted giving her on Wednesday and walked out to share with the kids in their car. On their way he complained of not being able to breathe. He was rushed to the hospital where he died and the driver called his girlfriend first where she was able to kiss him final goodbye.

I have been crying. I feel bad. Why didn't I advise him to divorce. Why didn't I tell him to marry his girlfriend. Why do I feel like his ghost is behind me. God please make him wake up. He's too nice to die. Someone please wake me. Wake meeeee. God give him another chance. Allow me advise him to cheat. He only married a bad wife. He doesn't deserve death.
