Taking to Instagram to congratulate actress Funke Akindele Bello a.k.a Jenifa whose husband suggested that they might be expecting twins in an Instagram post that went viral yesterday, Cool FM's OAP, Daddy Freeze, reminded her of his prophecy months back after  Nigerian pastor made some negative prophecies about her. 

He also went ahead to proclaim blessings upon the actress. Here's what he wrote;

Earlier this week, we reported that Alterplate Boss, Harrysong welcomed twins with his Abuja based baby mama and businesswoman, in Beverly Hills, California, United States.

BBNaija's fake housemate, Ese Eriata, has taken to social media to warn social media beggars to stop begging her for money, as she's still struggling to stand.

She went further to share screenshots of a chat she had with one of her followers, who begged her to help pay for rent and school fees with the sum of 200k.

The message reads;

Reacting to this, Ese wrote;

Rivers State’s Gov. Wike’s cabinet member/Commissioner for Information, Austin Tam-George, has resigned. It was also gathered that his resignation has been brought to Gov. Wike’s notice, and takes effect immediately.

According to Premium Times, Austin Tam-George, who was appointed in December 2015 to handle the public relations activities of the Wike administration, which was inaugurated in May 2015, is also a communication expert and former lecturer at Pan African University.

Talking to newsmen about his resignation, Austin disclosed that he handed over to the Director of Administration, Ministry of Information.

“I wish to resign my appointment as Commissioner for Information and Communication with effect from today, June 23, 2017″.


“I have handed over officially to the Director of Administration of the Ministry. Thank for the opportunity to serve the state,” he added.

The murder trial of suspects who lynched Major Maxwell Mahama, commander of the military detachment at Denkyira-Obuasi, the Central Region of Ghana to death on Monday, May 29, 2017, after they mistook him for an armed robber, has begun.

26 suspects out of the 52 people initially arrested for allegedly taking part in the lynching the late major were conveyed in a huge blue van, and arraigned at the District Court in Accra.

Other 26 suspects who were discharged have also been arrested for the police to carry out further investigation.
However, the state prosecutors handling the case pleaded in court that the three charge sheets before the court be consolidated into one.

A viral photo shared on social media, shows that a boy from Boko village in Zamfara State, sent to Kaduna to become an Islamic school student, was reportedly chained and turned into a beggar by his teacher.

Social media user, Aisha Alubankudi who shared the story, wrote;

The following unconfirmed report received!

This boy was sent to Islamic school in Zaria from Ɓoko village in Zamfara State. His teacher put chain on him and sent him to beg for food to eat. The name of the Mallam is Sufi, at Rimin Tsiwa quarters in Zariya City Kaduna State. The Islamic School is adjacent to Alhaji Sani Rimin Tsiwa house.

It's part of the menace of Almajiri system. May be the boy finds it difficult to adapt to the system and wanted to run away so he was chained when they caught him."

The peace meeting organized by journalist, Azuka Ogujiuba and Charles Opaleke, a night club owner in Abuja paid off as BBNaija contestants, Tokunbo Idowu aka Tboss and Ekemini Ekerette aka Kemen, finally reconciled.

They had not spoken to each other since their return from South Africa, where the reality show took place. Kemen was alleged to have attempted to assault Kemen sexually and subsequently disqualified from the show.

Returning to Nigeria, Tboss had granted an interview to Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and declared she would never talk to Kemen again! She said in the TV programme ‘Rubbin Minds,” “I considered Kemen a friend. He was my go-to guy. He was my buddy, my muscle. He encouraged me. He motivated me. So for what happened to have happened considering all the people that look up to me, it was sad. I was angry. I was humiliated and I did feel violated but I don’t play the victim card. I honestly think that the decision that Big Brother took was the only decision that could have been taken. And everything that Kemen has to say about that, na him get him mouth, e fit use am talk wetin him wan talk but he knows and we know.”

Asked if she had seen Kemen after Big Brother House and pretty Tboss said, “I have seen him a few times but I really don’t want to talk to him because honestly the day you (Ebuka) came into the house with Karen, I was thinking what would happen if I see Kemen because I thought there would be a party after then. As a way of curbing malaria and spread of other diseases, the Sokoto State Government's new law will mandate potential suitors to add insecticide-treated mosquito nets to the brideprice they pay before getting married.

The new law also proposes that couples will also have to undergo testing for sickle cell gene, and enrol for a state community contributory health scheme to reduce the cost of medical treatment.



According to DailyTrust, Sokoto health commissioner Balarabe Kakale said the law makes it compulsory for couples to undergo testing for HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis B. The state health ministry is to sponsor a private bill before Sokoto legislature.



But that will not come until a seminar agrees on the position of the law, Islam, and culture on premarital testing. Kakale said the measures were meant to reduce the menace of the diseases in Sokoto.

Holding his crusade in one of the South-East States, popular cleric, Father Emmanuel Chibuzor Obimma a.k.a Ebube Muonso, lauded the Igbo people of Nigeria for their industrious and resourceful nature, while also taking a swipe at resident Muhammadu Buhari whom he described as an empty brain and his kinsmen, saying that one Igbo man is equivalent to five hundred Hausa men.

The cleric went further to say tell congregants that the greatest mistake Buhari made was to arrest the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu whom according to him intentionally set a trap for the President.

He explained upon inquiry that he had done prostitution in many major cities around the country like Lagos, Abuja, Ibadan, Calabar, Kaduna, Portharcout and others where he would be picked up by men who would make love to him seeing him as a woman and thereafter, whether with the use of protection or not, the man's sperm would be gotten and used for rituals and such a man will be permanently unable to impregnate a woman.

More discoveries have been made on the ongoing investigation of kidnaps staged by Nigerian billionaire kidnap kingpin, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, popularly known as Evans.

A senior Police officer disclosed that 162 phones lines have been recovered from suspect.

The officer who pleaded anonymity said;

 “More discoveries have been made during investigation. On Wednesday, we discovered that Evans still had 36 more SIM cards outside the 126 lines we already have.

He has 11 phones, including a Thuraya and 2 Vertu phones, valued at N2.4 million and N2.6 million, respectively. That was why it was very difficult to arrest him because the two phones can operate without SIM cards.

That is the kind of phone the Boko Haram terrorist group is using in the desert. All the 162 lines are operational lines, except one that is for his immediate family. We are working on the new lines and phones. .

Turaya is a satellite phone. In Nigeria, we don’t have the capability to track Turaya. He used the three phones for his nefarious activities. We succeeded in tracking him through the other phones he has.”

He went further to disclose that SIM cards used by Evans complicated the challenges posed by the sophisticated phones, as he bought SIM cards registered from miscreants in Computer Village, Ikeja.

“We studied and analysed 162 SIM cards before we caught him. We have about two-page analysis of each of the numbers. He used 161 of those numbers to call his gang members only and used one to call his mother, wife and sister.

He said he bought all the SIM cards already registered in Computer Village for N1,500 each. We picked his sister, his childhood friend with whom he attended primary school, and four of his girlfriends. .

They gave us the information that led to his arrest. Evans confirmed that they didn’t know he was into kidnapping. Because of that, we granted them bail, while investigations continue" he said.

Another source confided that aside from a camp in New Igando, where Evans kept his victims, operatives had uncovered two other camps, which would soon be visited.

The Senate Committee probing the Customs N30 trillion banks remittance infractions has given the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) seven days to recover all monies collected by banks on behalf of the agency. Committee chairman, Sen. Hope Uzodinma, noted that following its investigations, the Committee found that only Zenith Bank had complied with 100 percent remittance.

Among banks directed to make refund are Access Bank, N42bn; Diamond Bank, N75bn; GTB, N290bn; FCMB, N14bn; Stanbic IBTC, N13bn; First Bank, N27bn, even as the Committee gave Zenith Bank a clean bill of health.

The Senate Committee on Customs, Excise and Tariff, which recently completed a successful work on the review of Customs Act, gave the matching order to the apex bank at an investigative meeting with the CBN, Ministry of Finance, Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), commercial banks and other stakeholders.
Sen. Uzodinma, threatened that the senate would involve the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) should the CBN fail to recover the money within the given time.

The committee had established during the hearing that of the over N30 trillion being investigated by the committee, over N536 billion was terminated at the various banks but not remitted to CBN.

The Senator representing Orlu Zone of Imo State averred that “There are various infractions regarding import and export duties and we have carried out detailed investigation into the matter. Today, we will address the non-remittance of revenue collected on behalf of Customs.

He made it clear that “The only bank that is free of this infraction is Zenith Bank,” stressing that “We must recover what we are able to and moving forward, we must stop this infraction that is affecting our economy negatively”.
However, the Committee gave the banks two weeks to clarify the observed infractions relating to utilised and unutilised ‘Form M’ and Simple Goods Declaration (SGD), and others, including abandoned assessment of Customs Duties and foreign exchange allocation manipulation.

Following the arrest of his son Chukwudi “Evans” Dumeme Onwuamadike, the father of the arrested billionaire kidnapper, Mr. Stephen Onwuamadike, who revealed how poor he was to newsmen further what transpired between him and his son the last time he saw him.

According to him, the last time he saw his son was in 2008 at which time he advised him to desist from illegal means of acquiring wealth. He further claimed that it was Evans’ mother who misled him and this has been on since he was three-years-old.

In his chat with New Telegraph, Evan’s dad said he used to be very wealthy but Evans’ mother led to his downfall and she left him with nothing. His current wife and her son also accused Evans’ mother of being the person behind Evans’ predicament. They painted Evans as a good and loving son who was only under the influence of his mother.

He said:

“I was devastated when I heard the news through a telephone call; since that call, I had not been able to sleep. I believe in a straight forward and honest life. If I noticed someone is not honest, I run away from the person.
When my business was thriving, I did business with white people. I was one of the early millionaires that emerged from this town until things went wrong courtesy of my first wife in 1985.
She caused me so many problems and eventually caused my financial ruins. In fact, she brought me down to where I am today. I’m suffering and I can barely put food on my table.”
Stephen who lives in his country home at Akammili, Umudim, Nnewi, Anambra State, said that he tried his best to raise Evans by sending him to the best schools around.

“My estranged wife kept interfering in his academics. You won’t believe that my son, Chukwudumeje (Evans) has not visited home since 2008. The last time I saw him was 10 years ago. I asked him the sort of business he was into.
He said he was into drug trafficking. I advised him to desist because it was an illicit business and the law was against it. I told him plainly that it was better to be involved in a legitimate business and wait for God’s blessings. I did good business and it thrived; I was very successful. I have travelled to so many countries of the world in the course of my business,” Stephen said.
He added:

“His mother started manipulating him when he was only three years old; look at where it has got him. I don’t even have his phone number. I’m pleading with the Nigerian authorities to have mercy on him and give him a second chance.
He was misdirected and misled by his mother. I heard about all the millions, and I said to myself, do I have such manner of rich son and the roof over my house is leaking. I now survive by selling pigs.”
Evans’ stepbrother, Chidolie Onwuamadike, said his brother’s ruin was caused by his mother. He noted that if Evans had followed their father’s advice, he wouldn’t have become a criminal.

Chidolie said:

“As brothers, we don’t even interact at all. I don’t have his number and my heart is pained because he is such a loving, nice guy from the little I know of him.”
A tearful Mrs Etty Onwuamadike, Evans’ mother said:

“Chukwudumeje is a nice boy when he lived with me. The only gift I gave him years back was the Holy Bible. I don’t want my son to die. I’m still convinced he will serve God.”

Yesterday, a fake lifestyle fight brewed between flamboyant Nigerian Instagram big boy Hushpuppi and another IG user known as Mr Ipreachmoney. It all started when Huspuppi shaded Ipreachmoney by allegedly calling his Brabus SUV fake.. Looks like Ipreachmoney caught the sub, and decided to call out Huspuppi yesterday.

He claimed that the 40million Patek wristwatch Huspuppi has been flaunting all over social media is just a fake steel studded with cheap hello kitty stones…SAY WHATT ?!?!?! He also dared him to post the receipt of the wristwatch if it’s truly original, saying Davido is the only person with original Patek… .

Huspuppi on the other hand fired back (as expected) saying Ipreachmoney who was beaten up at club DNA was just trying to take out his frustration on him and that he should leave him out of his misfortune…. .

Meanwhile Ipreachmoney said Huspuppi is an ingrate because he was the only one there for him when Davido threatened to beat him, he said Huspuppi called him with his voice shaking as he was so scared like a jelly fish… he went further to say that the receipt Huspuppi posted few days ago from his lavish club spending was not funded by him…. Someone also hinted him that Huspuppi was allegedly beaten up in Malaysia, that was why he ran back to Nigeria.

It was also gathered that this is not the first time Huspuppi and Ipreachmoney are engaging themselves in an online battle.

Following the death of Davido’s uncle which was linked to drug overdose, APC Screening Committee have cleared late Ishiaka Adeleke’s younger brother, Ademola, who is also Davido’s cousin, B-Red’s father.

It was gathered that the committee also disqualified the Osun State Commissioner for Cabinet Matters, Senator Mudashir Hussein, from participating in the primary election scheduled to hold on Monday to pick the party’s candidate for the by-election to fill the Osun West Senatorial District vacant seat at the Senate.

The seat became vacant following the death of Senator Isiaka Adeleke on April 23 and INEC has fixed July 8 for the by -election.

Except the disqualification verdict is appealed and overturned by the appeal committee, Adeleke’s brother may pick the APC ticket unopposed because other aspirants stepped down for him and Hussein shortly before the screening started on Saturday.

The police in Lagos on Thursday arrested a pastor for allegedly beheading a 7-year old boy and burying his head at the church’s altar in Ikorodu, Lagos State.

The command’s spokesman, Olarinde Famous-Cole, an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) confirmed the arrest to newsmen, stressing that the suspect was arrested with an accomplice at Ikorodu.

Famous-Cole said the policemen arrested one Eric, whose confession led to the arrest of the pastor and the recovery of the boy’s body. “On investigation, one of the suspects, Eric confessed to the crime.

He led a team of policemen to Odokekere/ Odogunyan in Ikorodu area to apprehend Oyekan, who later led the team to where the seven-year-old boy was beheaded and his head buried. “They hid the body inside canal.

The two suspects involved have been arrested and the body and the head of the boy were brought to the station.“ The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) had earlier gathered that the pastor, identified as Adedoyin Oyekan and one Eric were arrested at Odokereke, Odogunyan of Ikorodu on Thursday.

Eric, who was said to be a friend to the victim’s father, allegedly stole the boy around 11.am on Wednesday, after his father left him in his care. It was gathered the suspect was said to have taken the boy to the pastor’s church where they beheaded and buried him between 2.am and 4.am yesterday.

When the victim’s father came back to take his son, Eric claimed he had sent him home. Eric opened up during interrogation and led detectives to the pastor’s place where the child’s mutilated body was buried.

Expressing how happy she is, knowing that her movie ‘Alakada Reloaded’ grossed 50 million in a week, popular actress and producer, Toyin Aimakhu has poured out her heartfelt gratitude to her fans.

Alakada Reloaded became one of the top grossing movies in 2017 after grossing 25 million naira in its first 3 days.

Speaking on the success of the movie, the Edo born actress Toyin Aimakhu said

‘I am very happy, God has been so good to me and my fans have been so wonderful. I am extremely happy. We worked really hard on this movie, and I’m glad the hard work is paying off. I was expecting something like this but not this big. 25 million naira in three days is huge’

‘We have made 50 million naira now and it has only been a week since the movie was released to the cinemas. The rate at which we are selling out is mind blowing, even in non-Yoruba speaking state. For failing to pay the debt he owed his Aunt, a Nigerian man who has been identified as Onwume Frank was allegedly chained to a Iron Pole by army officers, as they reportedly used cutlass and dangerous weapon to break every part of his joint.

“I introduced a friend based on trust to my aunt who is a car dealer.he came to buy my aunt’s faulty car for 550k without dropping any peny with the agreement that he would have to fix the car first before he starts paying .
So due to the trust I have for him,the car was given to him by my aunt.Then after a while he stopped picking his calls,my aunt now asked me to take her to my friend’s family and which I did.when we got there,we met with the parents and they told my aunt to give them some time to pay her,but after a while she got angry cos she never heard from them. then she called me that she was going to the guy’s family to tell them to get ready as she’s going to come with a native doctor to do some native stuff since they don’t want to pay.
