idriez: Let me start by giving glory & adoration to the most High God and by saying a BIG THANK YOU to you all.... I really appreciate you all for the wonderful prayers, wishes and inspiration... words are inadequate to express my feelings, joy & appreciation, I pray the Almighty God grant your hearts desires and meet you at the point of your needs IJMN... Amen. Now to my testimony: I left the house by 5am and on descending from 3rd mainland bridge towards Onikan(around 5:40am), my car suddenly stopped accelerating, I tried all possible but to no avail as the gear was no longer selecting though engine was on & working fine, I & my wife had to push it under the bridge towards the Officers mess before the Lagos Island- VI bridge(b4 Bonny camp). we spoke to the officer guarding the park by the lagoon and he agreed we park there while we get a mechanic to come fix the car, time then was 6:05am. We kept our phones, took our documents from the car and headed for the embassy on foot as it was nearby, got to the embassy by 6:25am and people were already there waiting for the officials to arrive. they finally arrived around 7am and We observed all the necessary protocols, checks and got ushered in; coincidentally I picked the same No I picked last week thursday. I noticed that The hall was filled that people also had to stand, then our name was called to confirm that we were around (as we had previously made payments & submitted all necessary documents last week) , after which we waited for the interview to start proper. At exactly 8:45am my number was called at window 14, our finger prints were taken and oath administered. Thereafter, our interview went thus: CO: good morning We: good morning sir CO: Do you swear to say nothing but the truth? We: yes I do CO: what's your highest level of Education? Me: blah blah blah.. CO: What do you do now? Wife: blah blah blah... CO: Where did u have your NYSC? Wife: blah blah blah CO picks papers & circle address & says "Congratulations, pick up your visa at circled address in a week's time and make sure you pay USCIS money online b4 leaving for US, Enjoy your stay in USA".
Imagine, interview took less than 5mins and No questions on O' levels, marriage, job description & also pictures(family) were not checked etc.... God you are too much. I prophesy into someone's life.... God that did my own, will surely do your's too. A big AMEN to ur prayer! Congratulatons!!!! |

loveshowgirl1: I am a DV 2013 lottery winner. I have recently done my medicals and waiting for my interview which is not till 21st of March. The question i want to ask the house is, during my application for the DV2013 lottery, I was SINGLE, i got engaged March 14th and did my introduction March 15th which was way before the results came out in May. While i filled my forms to KCC i was still SINGLE but engaged and i have filled in SINGLE, but in December/January i got married. During my medicals, i have to fill in married as status in one of the forms since am now married. Right now am not so sure as to what to say when i go for my interview, if i should simply say am married with all proofs or i should maintain my being SINGLE, but right now am wearing my wedding band. What should i do house, any and all advice would be appreciated.............My interview date is 21st so the earlier i hear from you guys the better for me. Thanks
Lolo.
Anyone with similar issues and have been successful, pls help me out hear. Mind you, i am not filing for my husband to join me right now as he will be travelling to South Africa soon. When u are asked just say d truth. |

Gentiger: This is Gentiger reporting live and direct from LOS ANGELES California. I arrived safely yesterday, 17:00 local time after about 20hrs flifgt and 6hrs layover at Istanbul.
It was a fun experience and i thank everyone who through prayers and goodwill messages made this happen. If you are coming through Los Angeles, i must prepare your mind on what to expect. I cant tell if it's the same thing everywhere else. On arrival, we were greeted by sniffing scoundrels. They had to ensure we were drugs free. We proceeded to the immigration post to have our documents and visa packets (sealed Envelope} processed. It took a while because we were about 6 of us. I issued them with a new address for the delivery of my green card. You can change the delivery address of your green card to anywhere of your choice within the US. It's not true, neither is it mandatory you must come in through the Port you specified in your form to KCC.
From the immigration post we were ushered to the customs for screening. They spent time processing us. Expect discriminatory treatment if you are an African male, Asian or Middle east. They will single you out for special attention. They did what must be done and formally welcomed us to America.
For those of you who already have your visas, hurry up and join us here. This country is a beautiful place. Nowhere in Nigeria can be compared to Los Angeles California. Those awaiting interview, i wish you success. You will surely testify. I will be back here to share my experience with gay people as a way of preparing your minds for what obtains here. Talk to you later.
Gentiger signing off. Love you all. Wow! Mr. Gentiger am happy 4u |

sina_adegoke: Hi house. Just came back from my visa interview. I know this is arguable, but thanks to God, it should be the shortest interview ever.
It went like this; Interviewer: Hi Me: Hi. Nice tie Interviewer: (Blushes, looks at his tie, smiles widely, then looks at me): Thanks. Interviewer: Are you Adegoke? Me: Yes, Adegoke Adesina Interviewer: Which school did u finish from? Me: OAU, Ile Ife Interviewer: When did u graduate? ME: 1999 Interviewer:Which course did u study? Me: Engineering Physics Interviewer: How come you're in banking? Me: Nigerian banks take graduates from all fields. You get trained on the job. So.... Interviewer: I was an Engineer too, and I found myself here, so I understand u Me: You don't say Interviewer: Yeah Me: Where u begin and where u end are two different things
He kept smiling all the way, almost whistling when he brought out the forms, congratulated me, & told me my visa has been approved.
My tip for those awaiting the interview is.... Follow the instructions on the website thoroughly, & be very nice & civil. It can shorten ur interview considerably.
But more importantly, be confident in God. When it's ur time to change location, then it's ur time, hopefully for d best.
I am now officially a Yankee.

preprewow: Golden Rules for Visa: Looking Good and Confident. Looking disciplined and organized. Create interest in CO towards you with interesting & intelligent answers. Sounding natural in accent and communication. Maintaining eye-to-eye contact with CO throughout interview. Staying positive throughout. Showing clarity of thought and logical flow in expressing views. Speaking Loud with confidence. Having good presence of mind. Showing good knowledge about your area of interest. Having good and credible future plans. Add a little bit of sense of humor. Exude professionalism in whatever you do & Smile and put Consular Officer always at ease.
wear formal dress to appear for interview. Your dress should portray you as a professional / as a well prepared person. Carry only relevant documents. Do not present any papers-certificates or documents unless asked for. After Interview is over remember to show gratitudes towards CO by saying 'Thank you'. And if you had any doubts clarify them with CO. Check for all the documents before leaving home.Greet the interviewer first, even if CO is not listening or not looking at you or busy with his computer. While answering the questions (or even when not answering), remember to look at the CO instead of looking down. Keep continuous eye contact with Consular officer throughout the interview. Keep looking at the CO but never at other things or other happenings in the room or at other counters. Look at CO when he/she is speaking. Don’t look away at any point of time while answering or listening. Feel like, there’s nobody between you and CO, and nothing exists in this world of your visa between you and CO. Don’t become conscious of others looking at you either watching or listening.Remember it’s your visa and your future. This is very important. Listen to questions carefully to comprehend. If you are not sure of what’s the CO is asking, politely request for a repeat. But don’t over do the same. Give short and “to- the-point” answers, unless asked for longer ones. Wherever there’s scope for it, it’s always better to be prepared with two sets of answers for questions, One long and one short. First give short answer and if CO asks for details then give long answer or explain in detail, so that you will be still in comfort zone. You have to be clear about your long-term and short- term goals, both personal and professional. And make sure that you can explain well your courses you have studied at high school.
Confidence – the One and Only Key for Visa. So look confident, answer with confidence, listen to CO with confidence and even it the need arises, smile at CO with confidence. Just exude confidence in whatever you do at interview.Mouth all words clearly and speak loud enough to hear. Answer immediately without wasting any time. Little fun with good sense of humor is always welcome. CO’s generally respond positively to good sense of humor. Answers should not be given in a raised voice, even, when the question comes n that manner. Remember CO will be having tough time too, with huge volumes of applicants and asking same kind of questions and listening almost identical answers day in and day out. They too will be under great pressure to issue a visa till the applicant’s intentions and arranging of funds are made clear to them. It’s not that you should feel comfortable in interview, but in my personal opinion you should also make CO comfortable by presenting all facts and figures through a systematic and organized way of answering, presenting documentary evidence whenever necessary or asked for. Never become desperate, wearisome and tiresome even it the interview is going in a long way than expected by you – But, still throughout interview(s) try to maintain your composure, looking positive, confident and smiling at every turn and opportunity and repeat the same answer content suitably, again and again. Avoid giving additional information unless asked for it. If you care complimented for your answers, achievements, scores and percentages, remember to thank the CO. Avoid repeating phrases or words (using same punch words again and again). Remember you have to Keep smiling face after giving your answer, and It is un-wise to contradict an answer through a subsequent answer. Always stick to the same answer whenever asked for. Same question can be asked at various times to test you. But your answers should be consistent and according to the figure quoted by you. Don’t show your surprise on your face, why he’s repeating the questions. Simply give answer to that question, just as a matter of fact. The question asked should be answered without any second thoughts, and notions. An applicant’s behavior should convince the CO about the quality of personality that you.have. That’s why people say Attitude is everything. Just stay positive, be positive and answer with confidence. Avoid any exhibition of emotions other than showing a feeling of welcoming questions and eager and ready to give the answers with a smiling face. In interview you must avoid – speaking just for the sake of speaking without any positive attitude and confidence, repeating points, words, exaggerating the facts, etc
On final note, thank the interviewer for his time. Some More Tips: If you feel it’s difficult to understand the CO’s accent, Try to watch CNN and Hollywood movies regularly for some time before visa interview to get familiar with American accent. (But don’t go for BBC, which will give British accent). Anyway, I am wishing you all the best. Good Lucks to those who gonna have their interviews on this month & next month (including myself);-) lol Nice one |

Bigpiper: Had my Interview on the 6th of this month but I couldn't share my experience here because I thought I was dreaming and I might just wake up any time soon. After I collected my passport with visa on it today, I knew it wasn't a dream. Unlike most of you, I have no education besides primary school, I was trained as a mechanic and I must say I'm very good at it. I never knew nairaland existed until after my interview and this account I'm using to share my experience is my big brother's. He played the lottery on my behalf without my knowledge and he said I must share my testimony with you all because u made it possible. Everything he read on this site he related to me. Thank you and God bless every one of you. My interview experience: Interview was scheduled for 10AM, got to the embassy around 9:30 Submitted 2NL at the gate Checked at the Security Check Point. Made to leave my phones behind Made DV Payment Submitted Originals Documents (did not make photocopies) to Nigerian lady She went through the documents, gave me back my primary school certificate and told that they require a minimum of five (5) credits. She went away with the document leaving my primary school certificate with me. Then after waiting a while I was called up to window 13: Me: Good Morning Co: Good Morning Co: Take your finger print Me: i did Co: Right hand up and promise you will tell me the truth and nothing but the truth Me: I promise Co: What is your highest level of education Me: Told her Co: No Waec? Me: No Co: Why did you stop at primary school? Me: Told her Co: What do you do? Me: Told her Co: Where do you work? Me: Told her Co: Tell me about your work schedule Me: told her (explained and narrated for about 3 minutes. She never took her eyes off me) Co: Go and get your visa at the circled address in five working days from today. She gave me another papper with instructions on how to pay the $165. Co: Congratulations Me: Thank you. Two days later I go an email from the embassy to come with photocopies of my birth certificate and credential (waec and above) to the consulate any day of the week beside friday. I got very scared but I went (after adzovia told me I had nothing to be worried about) and I submitted the photocopies. I was told to go and get my visa the next day. Instead of going I kept tracking and the tracking kept telling me "my passport is in post". It was uniqueprivacy who told me to go there, I got there lo and behold my passport/visa has been ready all along. Atlanta here I come ... This is God in action. Congratulations! |

Tiwanna: hi dropping a word of faith for all that are in need. matthew 9:25-30
25: But when the people were put forth, he went in, and took her by the hand, and the maid arose. 26: And the fame hereof went abroad into all that land. 27: And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou Son of David, have mercy on us. 28: And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord. 29: Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. 30: And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it.
i highlighted some parts, as point. wen the blind men came to Christ for their healing, he asked them do u believe that i can heal u? and they answered him saying yes we do. and jesus christ healed them saying according to your faith be it unto u. just like he said to the woman with the issue of blood when she touched his garment, he turned to her and said i quote "woman be of good cheer thy faith has made u whole"
so if you believed that God can hear your prayer, also believed that he is able to change the impossible to possible, he can make u a winner this year no matter your background, situation, affliction cause he said it in his word according to:
Jeremiah 32:27 Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
Isaiah 55:10&11, 10:For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. .
i say unto u, u r a winner already if u believed in Jesus name amen. AMEN |

Wife : Blah blah blah blah - CO: Tell me about your course Wife: Blah blah blah CO: No. I don`t want defination. I want full explanation Wife: Blah blah blah blah- (explaining in details until she asked her to stop) CO: Tell me about food processing Wife: Blah blah blah blah CO: What are perishable food products? Wife : Blah blah blah blah CO: How can you preserve them? Wife : Blah blah blah blah - (citing terms and giving examples) Now the CO is typing. CO: When did you get married? Wife : Blah blah blah blah CO: Where, when and how did you meet your husband? Wife : Blah blah blah blah CO: When did he proposed? Wife : Blah blah blah blah CO: What does your husband do? Wife : Blah blah blah blah CO: Can you explain what type of business your husband do? Wife : Blah blah blah blah CO: How much does he earn? Wife : I really don`t know the exact amount CO: You mean you don`t know how much your husband earn? Wife: Yes, because he is not a salary earner. But we are living good. We are okay with what he earns. CO: Oh! yeah I can really see that. - ( at this stage the interview is becoming very interesting to her and what follows thereafter was more like a chit chat) CO: What type of wedding did you do? Wife : Blah blah blah blah CO: DO you have a very big wedding? Wife : Blah blah blah blah CO: Do you have wedding pictures? Wife : yes (my wife brought out our photo book and as she was flipping, the CO asked her to keep flipping. She was smiling, then asked wife to stop and pointed to someone in the picture) CO: Who is that in the picture? Wife : Blah blah blah blah CO: Do you have any courtship picture? Wife : Yes CO: Can I see? (At this stage she was very busy typing and staring into the computer. She did not bother to check the courtship pictures) She then asked my wife to call me. As I was approaching the window, she said to my wife - give me a minute I want to get some papers. Wife: Alright ma - Now I am standing beside my wife and she was whispering into my ear. Then the CO returned with two papers and gave our original documents back to us. CO: MR & MRS blah blah blah, congratulations your visas have been approved. Welcome to America. Go to the circled address to pick up your visas next week Fri. She then explained something to us about how to pay the USCIS Immigrant Fee but we werent really paying attention because we were very excited. My wife was just smiling and saying thank you, thank you, thank you ma! The CO was just smiling......
My wife did a very good job and I am very proud of her. The only question I was asked was "Did you swear to say nothing but the truth" Which I answered "Absolutely yes"
Lessons:
* Be prayerful * Prepare very hard * When academic question is asked, don`t give definations but explanation and keep explaining until the CO ask you to stop. * Speak out loud and look straight into the CO`s eyes. * If married, say things the way they are. Don`t fabricate. * Make sure you are able to defend whatever qualification you are claiming. * Another thing I observed from other interview experiences is that, the CO usually start their academic questions from your highest level of education and if you are able to explain very well, they will not bother to ask you questions from your SSCE.
Thank you and God bless you all. Congratulations! |

goldenfish4u: This forum has helped me a lot and I want to give back something to married couples in the house, pls dont mind my long story. I and my Wife had successful interview few days ago and appointment was at 9:00 AM in London so we left home very early to avoid early morning traffic. I was initially concerned about my big bag so I asked my wife to put plastic bags in her handbag in case they refused us entrance with such big bag. We found already a small queue ahead of us but most of them were non-immigrant visa. We got checked inside in twos as you will expect- airport style baggage and body scan, my wife was scared when she saw fully kitted police every where even in the compound just as you see it in American movies, all I could say was- God bless America! Getting inside the massive building, we handed our 2nd NL and the invitation letter we got from the US embassy few weeks back to the receptionist. The lady at the reception gave us a slip containing our calling number and was directed to a large waiting hall where we found lot of people waiting for non-immigrant visa and US citizen coming for their passport renewals. After waiting for about 30mins, our number was called, at the window where we met a nice lady and friendly as well. She requested for our notification letter, she went away to bring our file, inside the file was our initial form DSP... we sent to KCC and our medical, she handed out our Xray CD to us which we must take with us and be ready to present it if ever it was requested at the port of entry, she collected all necessary documents starting from birth certificate and proof of Support. She also gave us a courier paper we would use to arrange for our passport to be returned to us, she requested for one additional picture as well, thank God my wife took them with her. Please try to be organized so that you wouldn’t frustrate this people because they are busy and there are still many people waiting. I have two folders, one for my wife and one for myself the principal applicant. All we need to do is to go into each ones folder and bring out original and one photocopy of each document as requested by her. I was happy to cross the first hurdle. I so enjoyed this first part that I wish that was all. I asked my wife that ‘is that all? maybe next thing is welcome to America’ my wife said u are not serious, we are yet to face the real hurdle. she came back and asked us to go and pay the DV visa fee at the cashier desk in window 12 then come back, which I did using my debit card. After that, she asked us to go and wait in the hall again for our number to be called for an interview. I have never been in this type of situation before, this is not a work interview or Who wants to be a Millionaire, this is a life changing experience, future to be determined in the next 1hr or 2hrs but one thing that kept us going was that we have prayed, nairalanders have prayed and also people are praying at the moment even as we were sitting, I was prepared to say the truth with my wife. As I’m writing now I remembered that moment ....THANK YOU JESUS...... After almost 2 .5hours of waiting, our number was called, I pretended I didn’t hear, my wife also pretended, number called again, my wife said is that not our number, I said, I heard it before, I tot my mind was playing games on me. It was a young beautiful lady that was conducting the interview. She asked who the principal applicant is, I raised my hand, she took my finger prints followed by my wife’s finger prints, and we performed the oaths together raising our right hands. The interview: Co: What do you do? Me: Answered CO: Did you use any agent to play Me: No CO: How much did you pay to play? Me: I paid no one CO: Where did you play it? Me: On my computer inside my room CO: Tell me the site you played it Me: Its dvlottery.state.gov or dvlottery.gov.state, one of the two CO: How long have you been playing? Me: I don’t normally play lottery during the paper system, but since the introduction of Online application I decided to play it, so I can’t really say how long, but I can say I started when e-system of application was introduced, it’s easy and straight forward (SHE KEPT TYPING ALL THE WAY) CO: Have you been to the state before? ME/Wife: No CO: How do you want to support yourself and your wife? Me: I have families in the state to live with (AOS from them) CO: How much money do they plan to give you and is it weekly, monthly? Me: I have savings in my bank account (Bank statement). SHE KEPT TYPING. CO (Asked my wife): How do you want to support yourself (Tricky question) Wife: He is my husband so we save together. CO: why did you decide to marry after lottery? Me: We have been dating for 3years now, last Dec 2011 we decided the date for the introduction which was in March, and the wedding which happen to be after lottery result. That was the earliest date we could pick because it’s hard to get wedding date in the summer. So many couples avoid wedding in the winter. CO: Is that your wedding ring Me: Yes CO: Where did you buy it? Me/wife: answered together CO: How many people came to your wedding? Me/wife: we named some CO: When did you start dating? Me/Wife: We answered together CO: Do you live together: Me/Wife: We answered CO: Since when Me/Wife: Answered together CO: Any tenancy agreement with your names Me: yes (we gave her) CO: Any other marriage before this Me: No CO: Any police arrest Me: No CO: Any picture of your date? Me: Gave her CO: I am going to approve your visa Me: Thank you. The secret to my success is the TRUTH. Say things the way it happens, they are human being as well with feelings, be honest and pray very well. Our BIG bag was full of 5 different albums of our life before wedding, during wedding and after wedding. I know we Naijas don’t take dating pictures serious, thank God for facebook, let us try and take pictures as a couple even if we go out together to fetch water from the river. Americans CO believe this is how relationship should be and romantic side of it will proof how real it is. Don’t show them pictures of when you stand together like Idumota soldier, put together the romantic ones even if it is few. The CO took her time to look through all our pictures one by one, my wife too was showing her and telling her the names of my family members in the album, at a point I nearly got vexed with my wife, thinking who is the winner, who is doing the talk!
Note, your partner will play major role though he/she may not be the winner but he/she should be active and sensitive, just as my wife spoke and told the CO the people in our albums. There are questions that require answers from both of you at the same time, so couples be prepared. Rehearse your life experience together and pray; it’s a pity that our country has made this opportunity hard for applicants in genuine relationship because of the foolish Agent doing dubious business. This has spread outside the country and that is why even in London you can imagine this type of experience faced by Nigerians in my situation. I only prepared for academic questions but all questions were based on my marriage. I spent roughly 25 to 30min with the CO. Prepare for everything. Once again Say the truth and the truth will set you free. I will suggest some other proofs I have with me which I didn't use because the Co was convinced beyond doubt but might help married couples;
I understand no gadget, no phone, no laptop or tablet policy, so I think out of the box.
1.I printed some of our dating pictures on facebook for the past 3years, I also click to open each facebook picture’s page which has DATE uploaded on the right with comments, I did the Printscreen (CTR + Print) and pasted on Microsoft word to print. If they doubt, they should give me a computer to open it.
2.I also open our email conversations, did the screen shot and print, or you can print it without screenshot, this also has date on it and time. In case of doubt, I was prepared to show them in my email if they give me computer. To open you conversation, search mails using your partners email, or reserve words like love you, miss you, sex, sex you, missing you, sweetie, pawpaw, honey, names you use for each other when you send email. You will get some of your past conversations etc.
3. I downloaded ‘SMS TO TEXT’ on my android Google play - so I saved all text message between us to computer, opened in plain text with notepad and print out, I was able to print our conversations up to late 2011, that is if you are still using same phone since then.
4. I exported my call logs on my two phones, other phone I have wasn’t android so regardless of your phone, find a way to get right app to do it, i found one on android- ‘Call History’, though I didn’t use it. I know it might be too hard to get your call logs from your phone providers in Nigeria, but you can help yourself. Check it.
5. Any official documents- Power holding Bill with your names on it, change of address of both party from post office in the past if applicable e.t.c
Thank you all for your advice and prayers, and to my friend who knows himself, he offered to give nairalanders prayer request for me without my knowledge.
Once again Say the truth and the truth will set you free. Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!! |

seal777: TO THE GLORY OF GOD : SEAL 777, VISA GRANTED 7 FEBRUARY, 2013.
I had my visa interview this morning at the Lagos embassy in what i can consider the easiest and cheapest interview by a nairalander and my visa was granted.
Depart home 6.05 am, got to the embassy gate 6.58, submit 2nl and cleared with a tag number B417, went through security check and made payment in the interview hall, called at window 15 for submission of original and photocopies of credentials and was ask to wait for my number to be called.
I was there 2 years ago for a study visa which was denied but the whole arrangement has changed compare to 2011 with all activities brought under one roof in an open hall.
I sat in the front row so as to have a better view of other people's interviews but was forced to leave my seat for an elderly woman who wanted to sit close to her son. I ended up sitting at the full glare of the slim white lady of window 16 and I would confess, she was very direct and straight to business unlike others who were very calm and much more friendly in their interviews.
After hours of waiting, I.saw the white guy in window 14 talking to another white chubby guy in the cubicle showing him my credentials in the process and few minutes after that I was called by the white guy in window 14 for my interview.
My interview lasted for less than 5 minutes and it goes thus:
Co: Good Morning Me: Good Morning, how was your nite? Co: Good Co : Are you ( he mentioned my Surname ). Me: Before he could mention it I completed the names and told him, very correct. Co: What is your highest level of education. Me: Bachelor of science in accounting. Co: Which school is that? Me: Obafemi Awolowo Univerisity, ile ife Co: did you observe the national service? Me: Yes Co: Where? Me: Kabba, Kogi state Co: What was ur service all about? Me: Teaching Co: What are u doing currently? Me: I am the Business Development Manager in my own company ( i had the registration certificate but he never ask me ).
He kept typing and later brought out one white form and circled an address and told me my application is fsvourable and should go and pick my visa next and make sure I pay the 165 dollar green card processing fee.
CO"S INTERVIEW ROLL CALL FOR THE DAY :
Black lady in window 13 : Granted 4, Denied 2
White Guy in window 14 granted 5 visas ( including mine and curiously granted a guy his visa without WAEC. Denied 1
(THE GUY CLAIMED HE NEVER SAT FOR WAEC IN HIS SCHOOL BECAUSE HIS PARENTS COULD NOT AFFORD 34,000 TO PAY BUT INSTEAD OPT FOR GCE WHICH IS MORE CHEAPER 6,500 ). HE NEVER TOOK WAEC AT ALL.
White lady in window 16 Granted 2 visas ( 1 dv and one other to little girl on filling ) Denied 4 married couples ( all with 2- 3 children each ) Pending 1 married ( ask to wait for appraisal of their case ) i left them there anyway. God is my witness, my interview lasted between 2 to 4 minutes because of his typing and was the shortest and simplest of the whole interview I observed in the hall.
ALLAHU AKBAR, HIS MIGTY NAME BE PRAISED FOR HIS MERCIES. Me: bef So happy 4u Congrat |

widelink: SECRET ABOUT CO AT WINDOW 16
Honestly, she's not wicked she is doing what has to be done due to her nature. You are the one that will decide how you want her to treat you. Moreover, if God say it's your time no one can stop Him. I did my interview in her window and God gave me divine favour. Let everyone that has his or her interview prepare for this lady and if at the end shes not the one just believe that there's no question others can ask you that can move your ground because she's the only one that questions people too much. Note that, she's reasoning, hi IQ, distinct etc. Please don't expect 3 questions from her like others.
------ If you have any doubtful case like date of birth on certificate, your question starts from there ------ If combine two GCE results, you will explain to her why your WAEC is not with you but make sure you have testimonial from your sec school. ------ She is very funny and might even ask you the name of your principal ------ She likes looking at WAEC results, prepare for any of your favourite subject. Hint> If you are a science student i suggest you take physics or chemistry because she doesn't know anything in physics but make sure you know at least 2 topics which you will mention by yourself. She cannot just ask you any topic. ------ If you don't pass a subject please don't tell her that subject is your favourite one if you don't want her trouble ------ O'level is very important to her though she didn't ask me much on it because I drove her out of her thought She didn't know much about my favourite subject. ------ If your favourite subject is Maths, please expect "what is" e.g what is inequalities, simultaneous eq, probabilities, quadratic, trigonomery and so on. ------ If you're still in school, she will ask you what you're doing there presently maybe your courses. Note: Don't tell her about course you don't know well because that's where she will like to make you tumble especially if she has come across the course before . Pls bear 2 names of your lecturers in mind. ------ If you're a graduate, you must know some courses you did last in school and prepare to talk on the one that relates to your career ------ If your're serving, prepare for the subject you're teaching your pupils and some topics, the date you will finish your service e.t.c ------ If you're working, prepare to tell her your roles or duties at work and the benefit of your job in United States of America. ------ If you're married, prepare to tell her when and where you met your hubby and make sure there's no error in your cert and put those dates in your head. The type of marriage and the name of the church if celebrated in the church. Other questions may be asked if she's doubting your marriage but prepared. Your wedding pictures must be arranged in your album from courtship to wedding. ------ If you have kid(s) prepare to tell her where and when they were born. ------ Make sure you look straight into her eyes until she's no more comfortable she gives up when such people come to her window. ------ Just put on simple dress she doesn't move if you put on long or short tie, expensive jacket, gold and other things but simple outfit is okay that can make you comfortable yourself. Pls dont wear something that has stickers, emblems e.t.c. ------ She jots down your answers to her questions please be mindful of what you tell her because she might repeat 1 question several times. ------ Dont tell her what you cannot defend. ------ Pray for divine favour and God's mercy before her and other Cos ------ Thats all I know about her so far.
=======IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTION ABOUT YOUR CASE YOU CAN CONTACT THEIR CORRESPONDENCE UNIT BECAUSE IT REALLY HELPED ME. LagosIV@state.gov Dont attach any scan doc so as to avoid delivery error.
If you can take note of the above questions and precautions you're good to go and you can face any CO in any window. Note that your answers bring out questions, don't say what you cannot defend. JUST BELIEVE IN YOUR CREATOR AND PRAY EVERYDAY AS YOUR DAY APPROACHES. I WISH YOU SUCCESSFUL INTERVIEW STORY FROM CO @ WINDOW 16 Nice one |

I explained in the letter that my wife was pregnant and we could appear more than two during the interview I also included the shot of my wife during pregnancy She returned my letter and the picture and asked me to go back and wait for my number to be called for proper interview. Sorry for the story so far....I was called at window 16 where the white consular there just denied the first person that just left her window, yeeehhhh!!! the fear first catch me.

Co: I said your mother in-law***** she was unable to cover what she was hiding again Me: She didnt name her before I printed the names out of my personal printer. Co: You really tried, I will give you Visa SHE CIRCLED AND ADDRESS AND ASKED ME TO PICK OUR VISAS THERE AND RETURN OTHER DOCUMENTS.
SHE DID NOT EVEN BORDER TO CALL MY WIFE AT ALL BECAUSE BY THAT TIME MY WIFE WAS SHIVERING ON HER SIT FOR THE LONG JOURNEY INTERVIEW. TO GOD BE THE GLORY I MADE IT.
MY ADVICE FOR THE REST OF PEOPLE IS THAT, YOU SHOULD HAVE COURAGE AND HAVE TRUST IN GOD. THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT DIFFICULT AS MANY PEOPLE DESCRIBED THEM WITH WHAT I WITNESSED.
THAT VISA BELONGS TO YOU, GO AND HAVE IT ITS YOUR RIGHT AND DO YOUR PAPERWORK VERY WELL OOOO. BIRTH CERT, O'LEVEL,MARRIAGE CERT IF MARRIED, MEDICALS, POLICE CERT, ID CARD IF YOURE ALREADY EMPLOYED ANY DOCUMENT THAT COULD HELP IN-CASE.
