Tvegas:Thank you, Tvegas for your response. Well appreciated. |
I live in the US with spouse and 2 kids. We had a newborn 3 weeks ago. I am on H1B and spouse and kids on H4. I want to invite my sister on B1/B2 visa to help take care of the newborn. Do I need to specify the purpose of her visit on the letter of invitation or create a generic invitation? Will specifying that she is coming to help with the newborn harm or help her visa approval? Thanks for your responses. |
Who is ultimately responsible for this death? The state Governor for collecting polluted money from GMB and allowing fulanis into the sacred land of Biafra. Nnamdi Kanu has been telling you this all year long. Fight for Biafra Now! Enough is Enough with this fulani madness! If you are southwest and feel unconcerned with this development, then read a similar Jan 1st 2020 story in southwest; https://punchng.com/herdsman-defiles-six-year-old-girl-in-osun/ Fight for Oduduwa too! The fulani madness must stop! |
Lots of KJV and NKJV lovers! Nice to know! |
frank317:Try making one - a living creature that can take to the skies! Or ask some of the best scientist and engineers of the world to make you one. They simply can't. Do you now see what I mean? MUSIC my friend is NOT the same as WORSHIP. Thanks for helping make my point. |

Hello NLanders, I live very close to a very big outlet of fairly used clothing and shoes in the US. I am supposed to focus on my PhD study and not do this but as someone who did business while in Nigeria and coming from the part of Nigeria that is known for business enterprise, I couldn't ignore this opportunity anymore. I am looking for a genuine person who runs a fairly used clothing business in Nigeria (preferably based in Lagos for easier reception of shipments and quicker turnover) to partner with and ship high quality materials to Nigeria. Leave me a message at hisoffshoot@gmail.com if you think you meet this criteria. If you know someone that does, direct the person to this thread or give him/her the email address. Thanks. Pictured are from the samples I shipped to friends and relative for personal use.

Just curious about the Bible version you like the most? For me it's KJV, then for better understanding and for modern English, I'll look at; 1) NLT 2) Amplified |
emerged01:When you genuinely ask God for forgiveness, He forgives you. Then you need to forgive yourself and move on. Study your Bible, commit to a Bible-believing church and relate with genuine brethren. As already advised, having a mentor is good. Pray and ask God to give you one if you believe that would help. |
essenceplus:Absolutely! It is! |
OtemAtum:Well yeah, Yahweh does have some requirements from those that follow Him. And so does every other 'god' people follow. And if you think yourself an atheist, you also have the REQUIREMENTS to not believe any other 'god'. One way or another, you are also in a cage. Only that Yahweh's requirements ultimately sets you free! |
Bojack:Even if your closest friend dies right in your bosom and comes back to life and tells you that heaven is real and the Bible is true, you still won't believe. You know what, who cares? Believe or not believe, nobody cares! You are not hurting or helping anybody if you don't believe. You are you, believe whatever you want. |
funbat:I feel like the kingdom of God has far more advanced technology that we could ever imagine. The earth is just trying to catch up. |
Theyoungmatron:Yes, you get ONLY the comprehensive review on telegram. How about the success strategies for passing the NCLEX and the mega 6000+ NCLEX questions and answers? NO YOU CAN'T. This is a deal you can't get anywhere else! You are investing in your future, your tomorrow. Those types of investment are never a waste! |
CaptainDee:I20 for sure. VOs can access your I20 and you don't want any conflicting information no matter how small. I don't know for sure but try and log back into the DS 160 platform with your credentials and see if it allows you to re-print the completed form. |
Quonchovsymenez:If you have not submitted it, edit and correct the mistake. IF you have, start another DS-160 and ignore the current one. |
Anapuna01:Providing a bit more contextual information about your situation would help to give you good suggestions for this question. If you are really planning to quit your job when your visa is approved, you might consider putting a study leave request in your place of work just before your interview so that you could say to the Vo that you applied for leave and it is pending approval. This is just one line of action you could follow. Like already said, more contextual information you could provide will help craft you a good answer. |
Iamemblem:The original post mentions 'E-Books'. They are soft Kindle Books, also available as PDF. |
LagosismyHome:Will do dear. Thanks. |
Spanishmilf:None of the items listed above is a must. Schools give admission first before any school fees request. Only a handful of schools do ask for a portion of the school fees a priori. TOEFL is necessary but not a must. Check your school of choice to know if they exempt TOEFL for Nigerians. If you haven't chosen any schools yet, it's advisable to do TOEFL. The school would refund you your school fees deposit if you didn't make it. Public or private schools, you are free to apply to any of them. Nice to be here again! ![]() Hats off to LagosismyHome for still being here to help folks! |
ecoleco:I called US Customs and Border Protection and they gave me the answers I need. Thanks for your good work on this thread! |
Good day to you and thanks for the help you provide on this thread. My family's F2 Visa was approved on March 27th, 2018 at the US Embassy in Abuja. I am planning their entry to the US by end of July. This is to allow me complete my current apartment lease in the US which will end first week of July and then rent a family-type apartment. Also the kids in Nigeria need to complete their academic session which would end in July. However, I heard about the 90-day rule which requires visa holders to enter the US not later than 90 days from the date of visa approval. March 27th to end of July is surely more than 90 days. Does this rule affect F2 visa holders? Are they suppose to enter the US not later than 90 days? Thank you. NB: Program start and end date on my I20 is August 2017 till May 2022. Same also for Family's I20s. |

TravelDrim:Just put the term on Google. That's all you need to do. |
kodeya: Why must you do that? You are better off dressing more corporately. |
Funlag:Yes you can be accepted but you need to work hard on your test scores and other application materials to show that you are a deserving student. In your application, ensure that you put at least two safety schools for worst case scenarios. Use usnews.com and other college databases to look up schools offering masters in agriculture. All the best! |
platypelloid:I will say a big AMEN to that! All the best to you! |
There is paucity of F2 visa interview online so I thought to post wife and two kids visa transcript approved today at the Abuja US embassy, to help people intending to go for F2 visa interview. Note that the principal (F1 holder)(me) was not present in this interview. I have seen some people wondering and worrying if the F1 holder should be present in the interview. Interview was for 9am, 27th March 2018. Vo: Why are you going to the US? Wife: I am going to the US to visit my husband. Vo: Who pays for your husband’s fees? Wife: My husband is on scholarship (Well, actually it is assistantship. I imagine that the Vo will understand) Vo: You applied for vacation (B1/B2) before, why did you not say that your husband lives in the US? Wife: My husband was still in Nigeria when I interviewed for that. I interviewed on 3rd August 2017. Vo: When did your husband travel? Wife: 14th August 2017 Vo: How long did you intend to stay? Wife: 4 yrs Vo: Provide your marriage cert and kids birth cert? We had a Divine intervention on this question. Among all the things I discussed with my wife during the preparation leading up to this interview, we never mentioned or discussed kids birth certificate. I have never ever seen it being requested on the few F2 visa interview I found online and trust me I really searched. The night before the interview, my wife heard a voice that told her to get the two kids' birth certificate and immunization documents and put it in her bag. She ignored this voice and the next morning, they were all dressed up, ready, and leaving the house for the interview when she heard the voice again! She went back to the house, took the birth certificates and immunization records and left for the interview. And here you have the Vo asking for those documents! Excuse me if you are an atheist but God does speak to and help those who believe in Him. Praise God! Wife: Tendered the marriage cert, kids birth cert and immunization docs. Vo: Congratulations....on and on... To HIM be all the glory! |
