First, do you mean the ATF color is green or its the container that's green? Kindly confirm, as I'm almost certain you've used the wrong fluid.

Secondly, take it to your mechanic to guage the oil, If your mechanic doesn't have a dipstick, it's always very important to keep track of what comes out and then replace accordingly. You need between 6 and 8 quartz for your transmission. A quartz of that original stuff is about 7-9k. Got it at the Merc place in Ikate, Lagos

How do one solve incorrect gear ratio on w164

Two possible scenarios

Scenario 1
Did you just change the ATF? If yes, dis you use genuine MB fluid? Was the oil properly guaged? Was the filter/harness or any associated wire connectors fixed properly?

Scenario 2
If you haven't done any work on the AT yet, but currently facing an incorrect gear ratio problem. Prepare for a major rebuild of your valve body or AT replacement

I just got a used es330 car with mileage of 212k. I intend to do oil change, the previous owner said he uses Mobil 1 but where i base there are no mobil filling stations and my mechanic advise I should use TOTAL QUARTZ 7000 15W50 . Please will it be a good choice i if switch to total as advised.

Please stick with the recommended Mobil 1 5w-30 - contact Radautoworks or Gazzuzz or even Dru - all of them will ship to the moon and back.

If you must use Total Quartz based on availability - then it has to be Quartz 9000 5w-40. And you must drain and refill with the correct oil weight subsequently
