No pictures yet but I think the welding (cut and join) on all our manual ac compressor pipe fittings should be given a honourable mention.

I'd advice you to use a W40 oil instead. Nothing wrong with that. VQ's tend to burn oil too and people use W40 oils without issues.

20W50 is trash, though.

Yeah, I think I'll do that, assuming car is still in my possession by next oil change. Currently in advanced talks with a cousin who's interested grin

;DTo be fair, I switched to 15w50 last month on my E class, car is on 3,538 km after oil change and oil level is at 7.5 quartz. Before where na 5w-30 by now e go dey 6.9/7.0 and I'll be needing to top a quartz at next refuelling.

I know say na penny-wise pound foolish but make I dey paper the cracks dey go abeg, Local man is tired

It would have been better they requested ooo so you can be sure that all is well. I have experienced customs wahala when i dey do car business with regular purchase in Cotonou. Customs are notorious than Police ooo. I don sleep for Ofosu before Benin if coming from Lagos. I spent 3 days with them looking like a mad man the 3rd day and ended up paying to get my car out.

And na because i Sabi one custom man then ooo. So i don't take chances with Customs. It is better vehicle is underpaid than having fake customs paper. Many of those vehicle for North dey cheap but customs paper dey get wahala

Papers are intact anyway. I usually verify papers with one of the VIN guys on here. He's fast and on point.

My brother u were just lucky at that period of ur journey. Moreover if ur papers are intact, u won’t have worries meeting them any day.
Those guys are on serious look out for cars without duties, seizing cars anyhow as if most of them don’t have a hand in it.

Papers are complete. The only documentation I don't have present is tint permit lipsrsealed

Hahaha, just came back from Maiduguri last month. Got to Abuja 11 hours later and after countless military/JTF check points, encountered not more than 2 customs checkpoints (none requested for paperwork). Car is relatively new (toks), plate number dey shine anyhow grin

Try that same journey from Abuja to Calabar or Lagos grin

This particular car isn't bought less than a year ago. From the pictures and engine bay conditions and also the resprayed wheels and the number plate. This car has seen minimum of 2 years on Nigerian soil and has been driven so no need lying. By the way, why did you upload a Mercedes Benz picture with a number plate tied to a Honda?

Lol, 4 or 5 years ago. I'll take you on your offer assuming I had the funds to spare. Personally, sub-compact cars will need some getting used to. Drove an IS sparingly and always felt leg cramps on drives longer than an hr.
