Let me tell you a hypothetical story, am counting on you to relate it to the universe.

If you had an employee and one day out the blue he accuses you of being inept and incompetent in your face and to the other employees all whiles convincing some of them that u are indeed inept, what would you do?
There 3 possible things to do, sack him and risk leaving permanent doubts in the minds of those he managed to convince and encourage doubt in those who sided with you that he was indeed right and you perceived him a threat, leave him be and risk possible sabotage or give both of yourself a chance to prove yourselves.It might seem belittling but after a period his own ineptitude would be visible for all to see,those that sided with him would see the error of their ways and those that sided with you would develop an unwavering support for you.

But how can you level the playing field when you hold all the cards?

Let me ask you this do you think there would be any unbelievers left on earth if God decided to show up?

Religion is human invention promoted and nurtured by dictatorial leadership (empires, kings, chief etc) which forces its subjects to obey and never question such ideas and claims of theirs, whether it is true or fantasies.
We are so opportuned to be part of this 21st century, where subjugation and forceful subjection of one's idea to others are going into extinction. 21st century where we can question ideas without being executed, where we can disbelief an idea without becoming an escape goat. Where Critical thinking and making use of one's damn cognitive reasoning thrives. Where one can exercise his/her freedom and opinions on issues concerning him.

It will be a thing of absurdity not questioning and evaluating ideas in order to separate facts (reality) from myths (fantasies), to arrive to a more possible valid conclusions especially with the enormous freedom permitted in our contemporary world.

We continue running and fearing the unknown when nothing is actually chasing and terrorizing us. The fear of the unknown is the beginning of delusion and illusions.

Since you like thinking let me ask you this,
If the big bang actually caused everything to move from a center point then why do we have some objects orbiting others?

When I was up to 15 years old I was always opposing the views of some Christian practices. Sometimes in church, I would doubting if heaven was actually real and if God actually exists, but most times I always agree that it all exists but to an extent.


There was a time, a prophet gave her a pack of saint Louis sugar which he had prayed on. He told her to pour it on our newly acquired piece of land, he told her that it will destroy every hands of evil on that land. she payed heavily for it, with about 10 thousand naira or so . A day came and I was looking for sugar to add to my pap, I searched her box and found the packet of sugar. I took like 6 cubes and even shared it with my siblings. It was too sweet to be evil. When my mum cane, she discovered that it was her sugar, she screamed and took all of us immediately to the prophet. He mixed some stuff in water and gave me to drink, and gave my mum a coloured liquid, telling her to pour it in our bathing water.

I never believed that sugar had an effect on me, but my mum was so gullible, she could do anything all for religion.

Nowadays, I hardly believe what a pastor tells me, I might be nodding my head in approval but in my heart, I am a doubting Thomas.

The devil has successfully infiltrated the porous churches and planted his own system and practices and it deceives the gullible ones and makes unbeliever of the others who begin to question them.Either Way he wins, but pause for a second and ask yourself if those practices are biblical?? Did Jesus do same??

But am pretty sure you are wonder why it seems your prayer request don't get fulfilled?
Let me use a bit of reasoning to make my point, let's say. You had a daughter and she was on the verge of death,then you pray to God and he answers and heals her ,then somewhere down the line you fall sick too and she also prays and you get better then on and on it begins an endless cycle cause even in your old age you would ask God to give you life and strength to and play with your grandchildren in short we would never come to terms with part with our loved ones.We would keep asking no one would die life would just be one endless cycle and this fact defeats God's purpose.
In short what am saying is that God does answer prayers but he weighs them with his infinite wisdom and give mankind what he sees fit.So next time you ask God for a car please check you legs, they may have just gotten stronger.


This doesn't apply for every prayer though but I can't into it now.

What they are doing is not biblical Jesus neither did it or empower anyone otherwise,so why you bring Christianinty into this.If you don't follow the words of the scriptures you aren't a Christian,last I checked,these. Individuals are confused unbelievers.

Poster answer me this, did God or is it written anywhere in the bible that whiles you worship God he would touch you and you will fall under the "anointing"?Are you praising God because you revere him or you are looking for a miracle?
I think less than 1percent of people who call themselves Christians are actually just "church goers" we have succeeded in creating our own fake miracles,terms,ideologies beliefs and whatnot whose roots are not biblical and inevitably when they fall apart they create doubt in our minds and make unbelievers out of us whiles forgetting those beliefs,ideas are unfounded to begin with.

Am a Christian when am in difficulty I don't embark on a 40 days dry fast, I change my methods and approach to the issue so I presume an atheist would do same Christianity doesn't exist to solve issues but for salvation.

GOD CURES CANCER BUT CANNOT BOIL AN EGG

Religious people think God can create a universe from nothing but they know he can't mow a lawn. He can cure cancer but can't boil an egg.

I sometimes wonder why people think God can do impossibly hard things when they know he cannot do the simplest things a child can do. Why do we think God can do some things but not others?

It seems that God CANNOT do anything that has a fully predictable outcome. We know how to boil an egg but leave the egg, saucepan and water out for God to do the job and it will never happen.

However, we do not know how to cure a common cold. Colds almost always get better but we cannot predict exactly when you will recover. That is where God comes in.

There is a place for God in any process that we do not fully understand or that has an outcome that can be predicted only as a probability. There's a great probability of driving safely from Lagos to Ibadan so that's a job for God. And guess what? God takes care of you 99.98% of the time. Perfect, God works!

No, God does not work. God is self-deception on an industrial scale.

Came across this sometime today and realise its commonly asked so lets start with this.
Yeah, so why not just destroy the devil and lets get on with it? Why allow terrorist, rapist , serial killers , corrupt politicians , and whatnot operate?
Lets cite an instance where an only child of a couple is about die from say a terminal disease, upon being faced with this reality they pray to God and he answers and heals her.Twenty years down the line the mother falls victim to yet another and they besiege God to save her also, so then I ask does there come a time they reconcile with the inevitability and not seek Gods help?why and when?
I believe has his own ways of helping whiles still maintaining balance and purpose of life.
My post and views may not profer solutions which we individually seek but hopefully it will provide fresh perspective and appreciation of different reasoning as it unfolds.

I believe God sent his to shed his blood because of how much he wants us to abhor living sinfully.God could have forgiven man if he wanted to, but I think he wanted man to know how grave sin was and how else than to ask seek the most precious of all gifts..life.Needless to say Christians haven't thought this through.

Well here goes..

I used to take up flash light to the top of our house and throw it to the sky.......hoping to see what was behind all that darkness.

Let it be some sort of relief that, I had similar problems and am sure the majority of hard honest working populace do.

My people say that "let the birds have their take,it's what's left that we protect",so dust yourself up and look ahead.

The notion that you are somewhat being influenced is a major hurdle you have to overcome.Do.this by having several REALISTIC alternatives.I have had up to 5 backup plans all foiled in instance but I have learnt to take things in strides and hopefully would you someday.

Start with cheap grade A China phones.Find a bulk seller and agree on terms to buy some weekly then find someone who.sells original phones and propose to sell your wares along his in a small container for a fee weekly or daily.Find other individuals and do same and alternate shops selling your wares and cashing in.

It's rough and tough and your have to have some thick skin especially since you have come into money before.
I wish you success and pls learn to accommodate the disappointment with some pessimism.

You opened this thread without knowing you have already made a decision popular hallmark of youngsters, limited knowledge in anything at all.What have you done to savour this relationship.Don't quote that futility you wrote from before.Only note that life is always like that,can't have it all cowboy, thats why there are compromises in life.Work on your mindset and life expectancies,also don't be too intent on changing others, it seldom works.I wish you double luck firstly,in.finding Mr.right and secondly Mr right seeing you as Mrs right.

What you have said is partly true but I won't delve that direction further.Also I think your stance in particular is a fair one.Religion comes to us all differently and it's good to at least hear what other parties have to say cause if it's true then that could in essence be the most important aspect of your life.I have a lot I would actually like to share but remember that being a christian isn't the absence of questions but willingness to look beyond.

Its well.There is only soo much drugs can do to add weight unless there's a medical problem.The main problem here is calories.Eating large isn't necessarily going to enable you gain weight and especially in your case where your body is a "great burner".Incorporate this into ur diet and slowly gain weight after about 2weeks(about 3kgs).it's very safe but a bit expensive and somewhat exhausting.
Add together and blend.
4 fingers of banana
A cup of boiled oats
2 to 3 eggs(raw)
2 table spoons of peanut butter
And finally some milk(skimmed).
Take it before bedtime.It's very vital to be consistent.Remember to live healthy and live a stress-free live cause Its necessary to weigh gain.
