What a world! Is it not hunger that led this boy to attempt to steal garri? My prayer is that as many as put forth their hands to terminate the life of this 7yrs old boy will meet death at the point of their own needs, at the point where they will be seeking for help but will receive death. It shall never be well for them. No pastor or lmam shall deliver them and Heaven shall shut against them in Jesus Name.

Somewhere in the land of the risen sun
That mortar is the type you see displayed along Lagos/lbadan expressway and around Shagamu. It is likely that this magical art took place in that location where kids are chained to logs for weeks without food as punishment for putting hand inside soup pot reserved only for madam.

CultureRe: What Is The Meaning Of Osu? by edebemba(m): 10:40pm On Nov 14, 2016
BossLadyF:
Thanks for the lecture but I think it's been abolished. Do they still practice it?
Christianity has abolished it but some pagans, out of fear of the deities, still avoids anybody staged OSU.
CultureRe: What Is The Meaning Of Osu? by edebemba(m): 8:18pm On Nov 14, 2016
'OSU' is an lbo word for 'Outcast'. It is simply a word used to describe a person dedicated to a deity. No one harms, interacts or marries an OSU.
History has it that it all started duing the slave trade era. Men who felt insecured and weak, and those who could not fight off kidnappers or did not want to lose their family members to kidnappers who sale victims to humam traffickers or to tne white slave dealers resort to dedicating their families to some powerful deities. Any person or animal dedicated to a deity bears a mark of identity and is feared to touch or harm. So kidnappers then feared to touch such people because the know the consequences.
So it was that an osu man could only marry an osu woman. With passage of time osu people multipled because all the children born or their descendants became OSU automatically.
PoliticsRe: North, South East Politicians Join Forces Against South West by edebemba(m): 8:37pm On Nov 13, 2016
Sealeddeal:
We in SE will not ally with Buhari.
I disagree with you. SW aligned with the North to edge out Jonathan of SS whom SE also took as their own. In other words, SW did not want SS/SE to succeed. That's why they aligned with the North. So now, SW should not be angry if SE/SS align with the North. A Cambodian man once told Henry Kissinger, former American Secretary of State, that 'To revenge is to make a bad man better'. Maybe an alignment between SE/SS and the North will make the SW think better. Maybe it will teach the SW to think of uniting with other regions in the South. Maybe.
Christianity EtcRe: Is It Good/Right For Christians To Patronize Seers?? by edebemba(m): 8:25pm On Nov 12, 2016
Seers are prophets. And where there is no vision, people perish. The Bible has instances of seers or prophets who operated under various kings. So there is nothing wrong if you seek the advice of prophets. But beware, there are lots of false prophets giving themselves up as anointed men of God. Jesus said that on the last days many shall come in His name claiming to be what they are not. But by their fruits you shall know them.
PoliticsRe: Reasons South-East Senators Visited Buhari by edebemba(m): 7:54pm On Nov 12, 2016
OkoYiboz:
North Central (AKA Middle Belt): Benue. Kogi. Kwara. Nasarawa. Niger. Plateau. = 18 Senators

North East: Adamawa. Bauchi. Borno. Gombe. Taraba. = 15 Senators

North West: Jigawa. Kaduna. Kano. Katsina. Kebbi. = 15 Senators

South East: Abia. Anambra. Ebonyi. Enugu. Imo. = 15 Senators

South South: Akwa Ibom. Cross River. Bayelèsa. Rivers. Delta. = 15 Senators

South West: Ekiti. Lagos. Oyo. Ogun. Ondo. Osun. = 18 Senators

Politics is a game of numbers. These 15 disgruntled elements from the SE are of no political consequence whatsoever. The ignorant move of these SE Senators explains why the average Igbo man is politically disadvantaged. It is simply because they are not politically savvy.

They could have teamed up with senators from other minorities in Kogi, Nassarawa, Taraba and Plateau and go see the President. Instead, they have gone to advertise their foolishness for the world to see.

The votes of the 15 senators from the SE are as useless as an eunuch's manhood. Their voting effect would be neutralised by the senators from the NC or SW alone and the proposal would pass without their support. When that happens, they either giv
e an ultimatum or cry marginalisation as usual.
Do not underestimate the power of the average lgbo man. That will be your greatest error. The senators of NE, NW, SW and NC were all there, yet like Ekweremadu manovered his way to become deputy Senate president. In the same way they can stop the loan.
PoliticsRe: Reasons South-East Senators Visited Buhari by edebemba(m): 2:10pm On Nov 12, 2016
dunkem21:
No project for SE.. No Loan cheesy
I agree with you. The time has come and it is now that the political leaders of SE should stand up to Buhari and tell him to his face that 'enough is enough'. For how long shall SE continue to pretend that all is well?
PoliticsRe: Boko Haram Used Chibok Ransom To Buy Powerful Weapons – Military Sources (Punch) by edebemba(m): 9:27am On Nov 12, 2016
Blue3k:
Man it seems Buhari's staff made a huge errors negotiating with Boko Haram. Then the terrorists used cash we gave them to reload. Our millitary is stretched thin. We have more than enough troops and weapons to smoke these guys out. We're 4 strongest millitary on continent.

If the war was fought all out we would win in a year.
What are you still waiting for? Join the military and help flush out Book Haram, since you are certain that 'we have more than enough troops and weapons to smoke these guys out' and 'we 're 4 strongest military on continent'.
Christianity EtcRe: Bringing Comedians To Church. A Sin? by edebemba(m): 9:59am On Nov 06, 2016
Since you confirmed that you heard a pastor speak that 'every idle word is a sin', you heard it right. Whatsoever the Bible condemns is sin, because that is the word of God which is God himself speaking. But the devil has a way of confusing Christians by giving wrong ideas, just as telling Christians that everything cannot be rigid in the church, that there should be moments of jokes, that inviting worldly people to minister in the church does not matter.
PoliticsRe: An Analysis Of The ND Issue By Martins Arogie by edebemba(m): 10:50pm On Nov 05, 2016
It seems that the elders of the Niger Delta are tired of the restiveness of the youths and are looking for a way to curb it. Since there is no job anywhere for them, they figured that offerimg them pipeline security will keep them busy and, perhaps ends vandalism, robbery, kidnapping and cultism.
PoliticsRe: Supreme Court’s Secret Account Uncovered By DSS by edebemba(m): 11:09am On Nov 05, 2016
[quote author=Kgdavid post=50782331]You don't get it. If you are found with a gun in the middle of the night, you can be arrested immediately, on the suspicion that you are abut to commit or have just committed a crime. What particular crime, whether it be murder, armed robbery, assault, etc, does not matter at the time, and will be the subject of further investigations. But you can and should be arrested on the spot.

The judges were suspected of engaging in dubious financial transactions. Unexplainably huge sums were found on them. Now whether those monies came from bribes or from an illicit supreme court account, we don't yet know, but it is clear that investigations are turning up a lot of things that prove that the DSS is right to be investigating these senior citizens of Nigeria.

Furthermore, there is nothing to suggest that the monies found on the judges all came from one source. They could have been collected from a variety of sources including this secret account, bribes, and other such. Discovering the truth is th

e whole purpose of investigation.[/quote
Thanks. Your explanation is quite good.
PoliticsRe: Supreme Court’s Secret Account Uncovered By DSS by edebemba(m): 10:55am On Nov 05, 2016
logicab:
Maybe logic isn't your forte, but I don't see any contradiction. Bribe money can be paid into a bank account, can't it?
I doubt if you read the post properly. Otherwise you would have noticed that the said account belonged to the entire Judiciary because paragraph 6 stated that 'Supreme court Justices and even staff of the apex court draws money from the account'. How can judges deposit bribe money into an account that does not belong to them?
Read the post again.
PoliticsRe: Supreme Court’s Secret Account Uncovered By DSS by edebemba(m): 8:28am On Nov 05, 2016
Can somebody please clarify me? I am not understanding what is happening again. At first, it was alleged that the monies recovered from the houses of the Judges were bribe money. But now, according to paragraph 10 of this post, 'There is a strong suspicion by the DSS that money recovered from the residences of these Judges were drawn from the suspicious account'. Which one do we believe? Why the media trial when we are not too sure?

PoliticsRe: APC Fingers Wike, Akpabio, Others For False Accusation Against Amaechi By Suprem by edebemba(m): 8:50pm On Nov 03, 2016
Liars! When will APC politicians cease blaming others for their misgivings? When? If Wike, Udom, Okowa and Akpabio instigated Justices Okoro and Ngwuta tto accuse Amaechi falsely, who instigated Amaechi not to handover the reigns of his 8 years rule as governor to his successor? Why did he run to Abuja?
PoliticsRe: *governor Okorocha Visits Senate, Preaches Unity In APC* by edebemba(m): 8:38pm On Nov 02, 2016
When Jacob disguised himself to appear before their dying father, lsaac, to collect the blessing that was due to Esau, he thought he had outsmarted Esau. But after that Jacob never had peace again and Esau never ceased from pursuing him. Till today the descendants of Jacob and Esau do not look upon each other .
When APC disguised themselves to appear before Jega to collect the blessing that was due to PDP, they thought they had outsmarted PDP. Since after that rigged election APC has lost peace and PDP has not stopped from being a thorn in the flesh of APC.
Okorocha's peace move cannot achieve anything because Buhari simply put a knife to the thing that help APC together and severed it.
Nairaland GeneralRe: Kalu’s Comment Tears Ohanaeze Youths, MASSOB Apart by edebemba(m): 7:36am On Nov 02, 2016
Kalu was right, but he should'nt have spoken it publicly. When you show your neighbour that your pot is worthless and useless, he will use to pack dirts. That must have been the annoyance of the Ohaneze Youths leader.
Kalu has money. He is a billionaire. He could have organized a workshop in Igboland to discuss the issue as it touched his mind and not to make a public broadcast to the hearing of every Nigerian.
BusinessRe: What Business Can I Do With 500K? by edebemba(m): 10:00pm On Nov 01, 2016
Every business is lucrative if only you know the secret. Every business has its own secret. You don't just jump into a business because you see others doing it. You must subject yourself to apprenticeship or learning before you set up a business, otherwise you will crash.
With #500k, you can start cement business. Talk to those who are in it already to learn about where they get supply. You don't sit in the shop waiting for customers. You have to visit construction sites, lobby site engineers, speak to contractors, etc to be able to make good sales. That's why you need to study any business you want to do.
I wish good luck.

CrimeRe: President Buhari’s New Son-in-law Under EFCC Investigation For N3billion Fraud by edebemba(m): 5:22pm On Nov 01, 2016
A waste of precious time by the EFCC. Nothing will come out of it. Buhari's reaction to the allegations against his son-in-law will not be different from his other reactions on the allegations concerning Burutai and others who are his relatives or friends.
Nairaland GeneralRe: Doing Business Transcends Profit Making, Says LCCI by edebemba(m): 7:12pm On Oct 31, 2016
The bottomline of every business venture is profit. Nobody invests money in a business to sustain loss. It is only when your business is making profit that you can carry out your corporate social responsibility. So without profit in business, social responsibility becomes impossible

Christianity EtcRe: Not Satisfied With Just Being Saved - Joseph Prince by edebemba(m): 6:56pm On Oct 31, 2016
I agree with you. We can have an encounter with God by living according to His will. Conflict between God and Man begins when man starts to live according to the dictates of his mind instead of as God intended. God cannot encounter a disobedient person. Never.
Christianity EtcRe: The Greatest Danger To Christianity by edebemba(m): 5:22pm On Oct 31, 2016
That is one of the signs of the end-time. Many of the pastors are possessed by the 'lying spirit' and the think they have the 'Holy Spirit'. They speak their minds and say 'Thus says the Lord', and nothing happens because the Lord did not speak to them.

Are you not aware that Odili filed a suit against Dakuku Peterside for defamation of character. Remember that Amaechi and Peterside are political friends who share informations together. Peterside couldn't have spoken ill of Odili if he had not heard anything from Amaechi. Remember 'the enemy of my friend is also my enemy'. Amaechi could have spoken through the mouth of Peterside.
