A drunk man went to a witch doctor and requested to know how bright his destiny will be.

The witch doctor drew a circle with a white chalk and another circle with a black chalk. He placed a dead millipede on the floor and asked the man to watch carefully. He said he would say some incantations to make the dead millipede to start crawling.

He told the man that if the millipede crawls into the white circle, it means his destiny will be bright but if it crawls into the black circle, it means his destiny will be dark.

He began making the incantations and the dead millipede started crawling. When it got in between the two circles, it turned and started crawling towards the black circle. The man watched. As it was about to crawl into the black circle, the man picked it and gently dropped it on the white circle.

The witch doctor got furious and asked why he did that. The man replied that he won't fold his arms and watch his destiny crawl into darkness because HIS DESTINY IS IN HIS HANDS.

I have been attending Carnival Calabar since 2011 and its part of the activities for my end of the year holiday.
Carnival Calabar is tagged "Africa's Biggest Street Party" and it is one of the best Carnival In the world.

Since inception Carnival Calabar has five competing bands there are Bayside Band, Freedom Band, Seagull Band, Passion 4 Band and Masta Blasta Band.
Passion 4 Band is the most successful Band of all times because they won the competition more than any other band.
Every year they are also several non-competing carnival bands.

Agro-Industralisation is this year's theme and two new bands namely Diamond Band and Calas Vegas Band has joined the competition. It is worthy to note that Carnival Calabar 2022 has seven competing Carnival Bands.

Carnival Calabar houses about two million spectators and about 50 million television and online viewers.
Calabar the capital city of Cross River State is Nigeria frontline tourism center and the state is also known as the Nation's Paradise.
The carnival, festival and tourist attractions has yield huge economy boost to the State especially in December.

LAGOS-BASED DOCTOR KILLS PATIENT OVER FAILURE TO RESPOND TO TREATMENT.

A Nigerian doctor based in Lagos, Ikeja precisely, Dr. Tokunbo Balogun has been arrested for killing a patient under his care in his private hospital.

Reports says Dr. Balogun had been attending to the patient for over a week without recording any success as she
didn't respond to treatment. Balogun is a graduate of one of the first generation universities in Nigeria and was the best graduating student in his set. He went into private practice immediately after graduating about two decades ago and is
renowned for hard work and success in his work before the tragic incident. The allegedly murdered patient was a 16 week - old patient who is said to be having a nasal discharge and passing a reddish stool for some days which the doctor gave several medications but with no response.

Rumour has it that Dr. Balogun took the life of the patient out of annoyance early this morning while everybody present was surprised at his action.

However, a reliable source revealed to the press that the doctor's action was due to some "PRESSURE". Dr. Tokunbo Balogun is a Veterinary Doctor and his patient was a 16 week old Broiler who was not responding to treatment, so he slaughtered the chicken and used it to make pepper soup.
