jimmyiovine: https://www.completesports.com/nff-offers-rohr-new-contract-with-tough-conditions-takes-over-u17-players-economic-rights/
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has offered Super Eagles boss, Gernot Rohr a brand new contract, but Completesports.com understands that it will come with stringent conditions.
Rohr on his own part is open to listening to offers from other football associations (FA) from January 1, 2020, but the NFF wants to retain the Franco-German until after the World Cup in 2022.
The new contract terms, Complete Sports, gathered will require that the former Bordeaux player and chief coach “must” live in the country (Lagos or Abuja).
He will also be allowed to travel on vacation only 3 times in a year. Also, the coach will not get an improved pay from his $55,000 per month deal. The NFF will also ensure, unlike in the past three years where he earned wages tax free, that his income will be levied.
All his selections must be approved by the NFF Technical Committee.
Meanwhile, the NFF has also decided that all Nigerian U-17 footballers will surrender economic right to the NFF.
Any player linked to agents will have to choose whether to play for Nigeria or go with their agents. NFF will also sign with players’ parents.
With all these conditions, it is not yet certain if Rohr will accept the new parameters of his contract but in the past, he expressed his desire to continue on the job. Yep the cabal are forcing Pinnick to make these moves. Rohr should just reject the contract and leave. He doesn't deserve all this wahala. How can he be told the number of times he can go on vacation? This is a national team job and not a club or corporate job. |

Last season was where he got about 10 epl starts and manage to get 1 goal
I think he played more than 20 epl games last season
He usually perform average when he is starting, he always get few minutes, maybe thats why its hard for watford to write him off easily Well they just signed one highly rated Brazilian kid. Success needs to leave for his own sake. I know that 50k dey sweet am but... |

tbaba1234: He is definitely under pressure with the local league clause that they want to add to Rohr's contract. No self respecting coach will agree to this quota arrangement. Club-owners are simply looking to sell players. It has nothing to do with improving the league's quality. Rohr would be stupid to accept that clause. Until our league teams starts performing at CAF competitions - these clowns need to shut up with this quota nonsense. |

tbaba1234: NFF set for new contract talks with Rohr
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) will present a new contract to Super Eagles’ Manager, Gernot Rohr next month, which is a clear five months before his current deal expires. According to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), the deal will spell out certain conditions, which the German must adhere to, to avoid the issues that have dogged the national team and the coach’s relationship with the federation.
NFF President, Amaju Pinnick told journalists in Benin during the federation’s 75th Annual General Assembly that should Rohr decline the new offer, the federation would swiftly get a new manager.
Rohr, who became Super Eagles manager in August 2016, qualified Nigeria for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia and won bronze at the 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt. His current deal will expire in June 2020.
Pinnick said, “We are going to present the contract proposal to Rohr next month and we have already mandated the first Vice-President to constitute the legal team to draft the new proposal, which will be made available to the coach next month.”
Pinnick expressed the NFF’s desire to retain Rohr as Super Eagles’ manager, adding, however, that in the negotiations, Nigeria’s interest would be paramount.
He added: “If we don’t want him to continue as Eagles manager, we would not even contemplate drafting a new proposal for him, but we are okay with him. We only want to institute some things that would protect the interest of Nigeria and its football in the new contract.
“That is why we are starting next month so that he can have enough time to study the offer and accept. If he does not accept our new offer as Timaya said, ‘’I cannot kill myself’ and we would shop for a new manager to take over.”
Guardian Newspapers Hmmm I'm sorry it'll be extremely difficult to find someone that brings what Rohr does off the pitch for the peanuts NFF pays. Pinnick better know what he's doing... Have a replace on par or at a higher level than Rohr or pay the consequences. |

charlesemeka85: Arsenal will reportedly offer Leicester City £40m plus Granit Xhaka in an ambitious bid for Wilfred Ndidi.
That’s according to several reports in England, cited by footballlive.ng, who claim that the Nigerian is one of several targets for incoming manager Mikel Arteta.
The Gunners are willing to make a cash offer and include Xhaka as part of the deal, with the Swiss star likely to leave north London in the new year.
The 23-year-old, who is valued at £60m, has been a regular for the Foxes since 2017 and has been influential in Brendan Rodgers’ side this season.
The energetic midfielder has missed just one Premier League fixture so far, helping Leicester to second in the table after 17 rounds.
Leicester aren’t thought to be keen on selling any of their star men over the coming weeks, but Arsenal’s impending offer looks set to test their resolve.
Plenty of Gunners supporters have urged the club to move for Ndidi in recent weeks.
If they can complete a stunning swoop, Arsenal may have finally found the Patrick Vieira-like midfield figure they’ve been crying out for over the past 15 years. False. Xhaka is going to Hertha Berlin for 45m. Arsenal are looking at Soumare to replace him. |

Kbs468: Yes and I still maintain my position.
Because check out their contribution without bias with Batshuayi 18 games 7 goals and 3 assist even as a substitute as compared to Tammy with 24 games 13 goals and 5 assist as well.
Remember that Tammy has played 1,232 minutes of premiership football this season as against 107 minutes for Batshuayi with a total of just 449 minutes including his appearance in cup games with Tammy amassing 1,749 minutes
So which is better?
Having a hand in 10 goals for just 449 minutes of football by Batshuayi and 18 goals in 1,749 minutes by Tammy.
That's a whopping More than *4 of the opportunity given to Batshuayi
Cc Komekn AndrewBaba44 You're using PL 2 and EFL to make an argument?? All this shows is that Bats is Stat padding. Why didn't you mention that Tammy has a better mins to goal ratio than Bats in the epl? Bats got his opportunity many times and didn't take it. As at this moment, no reasonable coach would dare pick Bats over an in form Tammy. |

My man football is all about trust and Tammy has not failed Lampard and i want to tell you Tammy is better than Batshuayi.
Oh Osimhen,i don't want to make the comparison but i don't see Osimhen joining Chelsea with Tammy available but if he does then i will be extremely happy as a Chelsea Fan, meaning we are going to have reminiscent of Yorke and Cole of old Man Utd. Thank you. |

Left for me, I would even rate Batshuayi higher than Tammy Abraham if given the opportunity to do so.
What he has been lacking is playing time as what has been working for Tammy is the championship experience with Lampard in the dough out Batshuayi better than Tammy in 2019?? LMAO Bats is washed. Dude has clearly not progressed from his time in Marseille. Tammy is much better at the moment. All this Tammy hate is just hilarious tbh |
