You start losing relevance (if you ever had any) when you meddle in politics
Another member of the squad who played every minute throughout October, John Obi Mikel put in a number of impressive performances as the Potters recorded four wins from seven. The 33-year-old was a formidable presence in the heart of midfield and used his extensive experience to guide the team, particularly in clashes against Aston Villa and Barnsley. His standing in the squad also saw Michael O’Neill hand the former Nigeria international the captain’s armband for the final four matches of the month.
BascoVanVeli: A touch that put the ball right in front of the net was a bad one? Now u are just being picky. The goalkeeper isn't god, he can also make mistakes but if u are telling me he was phenomenal yesterday I either don't think u watched the match or u are being dishonest.
I thought we would talk about his headed misses instead of this.
A touch that put the ball in front of the net and a touch that would resulted in a goal are two different scenarios, and now you're just being mischievous.... So i cannot talk about that particular miss but you want me to talk about his missed headers? who is picky now?
Nothing concern me with the goalkeeper, he was unfortunate to make that mistake and that is on his part and on Osimhens part he should have scored that clear cut chance on a normal day
BascoVanVeli: Pepper me how? Anyone who watched that match will tell u the keeper was on inspired form. He had no right to reach that ball. Osimhen did the best he could. U can see he even had to stretch to hit the ball.
Can you not see that he had to stretch because his first touch was too heavy and took the ball farther away from him? The keeper was terrible enough to give such a disastrous pass off his line that he should have been punished
chuks404: . Baba, the keeper made a good save. A lot of misses in that match. What of the one by mertens? Napoli didn't just click. I watched the full match. Osimhen did so well in that match. You could sense the passion and urgency. My suggestion is to find a real creative AM . mertens and politano behind osimhen is not bringing in enough as ikone was doing at lille ,those sharp exchanges that destabilize defences. In all I wish the young man well. He will definitely come good. It doesn't make sense crucifying the young man now.
I didn't say Osimhen didn't do well, I didn't say Napoli didn't miss a lot of chances and i don't know what your definition of crucify is but i'm only talking about that particular miss that should have been a goal on a good day
Very similar though Mane's situations was more difficult, kepa was trying to clear not pass and despite the heavy touch, mane still managed to score. Osimhen's touch on the ball was a little too much, I reckon he was trying to create space oblivious to the sassoulo defender on the other side of the post. he should have tried the roof
chrisooblog: wasn't a miss good save by the goalkeeper. however in hindsight i think Osimhen rushed into the shot should have dummied the goalkeeper when he flew to stop the goal bound shot but I'm not worried as long as he keeps working hard and getting into the right positions things will drop for him eventually
It was a very very bad miss if I'm being honest, The chance was served on a platter of gold

sheyishemba: Super Eagles spoil for showdown over unpaid AFCON bonuses, appearance fees Score Nigeria Editor
Algeria again edge past Super Eagles in 2019 AFCON rematch Eagles vs Algeria in Austria
SCORENigeria has specially gathered that angry Super Eagles stars are now spoiling for a showdown with top football officials after they are yet to be paid $17,500 (more than nine million Naira) bonus each for finishing third at last year’s AFCON in Egypt.
This revelation comes as SCORENigeria learnt the Eagles are also owed bonuses for various other matches.
This will include the wins over Benin and Lesotho in 2021 AFCON qualifiers as well as appearance fees for the team’s last four friendlies – vs Ukraine, Brazil, Algeria and Tunisia.
A source told SCORENigeria: “The boys are no longer smiling over the outstanding bonuses going back to the 2019 AFCON in Egypt.
“They have said their patience has run out and they will have to be paid these monies before the first match against Sierra Leone in Benin City on November 13.”
Nigeria pipped Tunisia 1-0 to finish third at the 2019 AFCON.
They also lead their qualifying group for next AFCON in Cameroon in 2022.

JohnBullMySon: Osimhen should just score enough goals to ensure that he can leave napoli by season end to a better club. But if he has signed a slave contract, sorry for him oh, im own don be.
