All these combined with developments in nano technology point to greener electricity in the future. If we didn't know know about electromagnetic forces we would be saying a bulb is being powered from nothing but that would be wrong of course, which brings me back to my argument that just cos you don't know it's there doesn't mean it isn't.

Actually it's very possible to do this. A guy once showed us his plan to hook up an alternator to an inverter like device. The trick is that while the inverter is being powered by the batteries, the alternator in turn also charges the batteries meaning the batteries don't run down till they expire.
