The Castrol Player rankings didn't go down with many of us earlier, but it doesn't change the fact that they're real. So while Messi and CR7 are the best players by a distance in many of our books, Castrol felt it was Henry, On that note i announce the Creation of the EDOYAD SPORTS POSTER'S CHOICE AWARDS . The same way we have the MTV, Grammy, BET and world music awards this will be offering an alternative platform

The only Criteria here is for a voter to have atleast 365 posts before his/her choice can be valid. You can post any name on Gods earth and the winner will be openly seen as the polls close on 31st december by 6pm sharp. Every one will be able to see the winner cos all you have to do to know him or her is to count from first to last post(of people with atleast 365 posts) the name posted most.
Unfortunately i cannot be part of the poll since it will go against all laws of fair play, so post wisely.

While i don't agree that this poll will be fair reflection of things on NL- since good behaviour doesn't tell the half of it, i believe everyone has a right to set criteria for choosing what he feels represents the best the poster. The Castrol Player rankings didn't go down with many of us earlier, but it doesn't change the fact that they're real. So while Messi and CR7 are the best players by a distance in many of our books, Castrol felt it was Henry. On that note i announce the Creation of the EDOYAD POSTER'S CHOICE AWARDS as an alternative to this one. The same way we have the MTV, Grammy, BET and world music awards, so the EDO will be offering an alternate platform.
On that note, i select dudu on this platform

If Sylvestre is used as right back in that game against Agbonlahor or Milner we will LOSE. There's no doubt what soever about that in my mind, best we can hope for with him is a draw. I say it again, with Sylvestre we will lose against Villa.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only. by edoyad(m): 9:23pm On Dec 19, 2009
Somebody tell me if Wenger is planning to use Sylvest against Agbonlahor and Milner so i can predict correctly ? I'm sure y'all start saying Almunia is the greatest goalie in Arsenal's history grin
Diaby first 5 mins angry , remaining 89 min kiss .
If the supplies are going to be coming from the left, then left footed striker ok, but for christ's sake if It's from the right, why wont Vela and Eduardo struggle to switch foot ?
Eduardo was sharp but final ball disappointing, do you know if he wasn't so near the touch line he'd have directed that ball away from goal ?

Toba nice observation, unfortunately Bayern is doomed. With Ribery's departure and Robben's second injury, all Bayern should hope for is to qualify for UCL.

Politics › Re: Nigerians Has Done It Once Again by edoyad(m): 11:05am On Dec 19, 2009
@onlytruth spot on. The multiplier effect of such policies like i said is that small and medium businesses will sprout up to supply the big guns with material. I was shocked when i saw India's MRF tyres advertising on cable tv. A few years back it took one ibo dealer used almost an hour to convince my brother to buy two MRF tyres cos we hadn't heard of them .

Politics › Re: Nigerians Has Done It Once Again by edoyad(m): 9:07am On Dec 19, 2009
^ Support comes in various forms. If you look at the Korean, US, German, French and Japanese police and Armed forces, i doubt if you'd see them using vehicles not made from their respective countries. The countries i just mentioned are some of the biggest producers of auto vehicles in the world.
In India you'll see the police and armed forces using TaTa trucks and other products. Even in the UK, i remember Tony Blairs black Jaguar while he was PM though i'm not up to date with Brown's official car. These kinds of support help not only the companies grow but the general economy altogether because auto companies need smaller companies to supply them with specific parts like windscreens, bulbs, radios etc. Ofcourse they also have to make the companies understand that any drop in quality could cost them the confidence in their products so that they don't become complacent like the US auto makers.
Politics › Re: Share Oil Wealth Based On Population, Sharia Superior To Constitution-North West by edoyad(m): 10:19pm On Dec 18, 2009
@beaf don't get me wrong, i was just giving a case why the govt should have a share of the proceeds- atleast by tax.
On the contrary, i am 100% in support of full federalisation and not even in the form we know it. I'd prefer if we were organised into local government councils and each one contributing It's quota to national development. By so doing the communities where the oil is situated will benefit from their oil and anybody that wants to enjoy oil money can come and become gardeners and drivers in their land instead of signing cheques in abuja or crying for bigger share from border with Niger republic.
If we made things that way we'll see whether Nigeria will not diversify It's revenue base instead of talk we hear always.
