@OYINBOGOJU good a thing you may have said your peace, but can you elaborate more on your experience so that others can learn from you and at the same time you can get advice so you don't fall victim another time.
However, due diligence is a key when you are going into such online business.
Like what sayso said he was able to buy a laptop right on this site without being duped, same as a lot of other people. So can you share your experience and lets know what happened, Cheers!!!

Career / Re: Bad Experiences You Encounter Within Your Office. by eduaustin(m): 9:15am On Mar 29, 2010
gbubs:

I have had several bad experiences but wont be mentioning them here'cause my colleaques frequent this forum, but my advice to anyone is never ever make friends at work, apart from official stuff, no one should even know the name of your mother, that way you wont be burnt and also be very good at what you do because that was what saved me and is still working for me, i was supposedly suspended for 5days due to my being set-up but because of my contribution to the company it was reduced to 2days, infact it was almost cancelled until the very person i went to for help advised the management to make sure i sit at home for some days. After that experience i have been like an island, some call me hermit, some snub, I don't care what they call me all I know is if they don't know you they cant hurt you, nobody but my boss even has my mobile number, if i discover the number has leaked, I change it,  for all they know I may be an undercover agent, the trick is MAKE THEM AFRAID OF YOU, but exclude your boss form this list and all will be well plus never ever try these crazy politics or eye-service that is going on in most offices now, bad karma for you,

END OF STORY!!!
Politics / Re: Plane Crash In Port Harcourt: Few Minutes Ago. [No Casualties] by eduaustin(m): 4:38pm On Mar 12, 2010
Fellow NL,
I just confirmed from someone that works at the airport, it was a training exercise on safety by the airport authorities NOT a commercial flight. What happened was that, the plane developed a small fault and this caused a stare withing the airport. but as i write this, everything is in other and back to normal.
So no Heart attack people, have a blessed week & continue praying for our beloved country NIGERIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NYSC / Re: How Relevant Is National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) In This Dispensation? by eduaustin(m): 4:24am On Sep 20, 2008
The scheme is ok. But what i feel is that its main purpose of being established is no longer being adhered to. It's been bastardized by a lot of the so called Nigerian factors. If all things can be put back in place and make the program what it ought to be. I feel its a relevant program.
I enjoyed the usual three weeks in camp, very very interesting one. NYSC needs more improvement. Both the government and the private sector can help add more touch to it and make it more better.

Career / Re: The Truth About Bank Pay In Nigeria by eduaustin(m): 2:42pm On Aug 02, 2008
@onyx79,
Well u can apply to any of the banks of your choice as long as you can convince them what you are bringing to the table based on your sales experience.
Oil & Gas pays much better but that is when u are in any of the producing companies and a few of the multinational servicing companies.
Banks pay are still higher as its one of the industry that i a making things easier for some of us graduates. I
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Sending A Thank You Note After A Job Interview by eduaustin(m): 6:59pm On Jul 22, 2008
@Poster,
Its a very good thing to send a thank you note/mail/or sms to your interviewers if you can get hold of their addresses. It goes a long way to set you apart from your peers and its a great sign of prfessionalism like someone rightly said. But its really not a common practice here in Nigeria. I have an interview 2moro and am gonna do same after the interview.
Career / Re: About Sap? by eduaustin(m): 11:00am On Jul 19, 2008
To Add to the list of companies using SAP--- ExxonMobil uses it.
As for the training a friend of mine that works with ExxonMobil said his colleague took the training in South Africa for a cost of about 4M Naira, that here in Naija i think in Abuja, it goes for about 2M Naira Plus. I can find out from my friend that name of the center in Abuja were the training is done and also the center in South Africa. Thks
