Well i was able to get a text file of some of the error messages i got. I've a Symantec AV Cooperate Edition installed on the server, but was unable to download Live Updates, since the system freezes few mins after you manage to start the Live Updates.The Server is running Windows Small Business Server 2003 Standard Edition. it just wont allow you to do anything on ther server. right now clients who depend on the application on the server to do their job aint workin for some days now,

Yeah, wat i did was go get an external USB HD casing.Took out the HD and set it up in the external casing hooked it up to another system, it could not be read, it just freezes the systems i tried it on. But all other HD dat was tested with the casing worked. We already know that the HD is gone, but we just wanna try and see if the data can be retrieved cause wen u shake the HD u hear some movin noise inside it, Man thats just about it, Thanks

Mine is Kingston DataTraveler 2GB, like tha name goes the thing dey fire no be small, Used the 512MB last year till it got missing it has never dissappointed me, It was sent down from our office in the US, I've requested for the 8GB wen next they are sending us stuff.

I just wanna say thanks to you. I was able to do just as you said and with other info i got from another forum, i finally got the Lan port working again. i used the Broadcom 570x Gigabite Integrated Controller, right now am just getting all other application back into the system.

There is one other thing i forgot to ask yesterday. We have been trying to see if we can recover files/data stored in the crashed Hard Drive, all to no avail, is there anyway you guys can be of help. Well guys, i please to say that we were able to set up the vpn connection btw our Warri office and Port Harcourt.We configure a vpn server connection using RRAS(Routing and Remote Access Services) on our Windows server 2003 and the vpn clients at warri end. we did a test connection with friend that is far away in Malaysia using our test Lab environment and it worked perfectly.We have transfered the configuration and settings to our live network and its kool.

We have tried the LOGMEIN and we did get some good result, but the challenges that we're having are as follows:
1) We wanted to find out if we can have multiple clients(from Warri Office) accessing the server here in Port Harcourt simultaneously
2)How do we obtain a multi user license if #1 is possible.

Hello Gurus in the house, i have a little challenge and i need your assistance. I have two offices one in Port Harcourt and another in Warri. Both have a dedicated VSAT for internet connection. I have an accounting software installed here in Port Harcourt Being the Head office and we need Warri accounts staff to access the software here through a VPN connection through the internet. Please, how do we go about with the set up? we have been charged to get it running latest tonight.

A good work that you have done here.But i have some challenges. I did download some of the CCNP materials,when i tried to open them i get the request for password input. I copied that password that was stated in the website and it keep giving me some of the errors shown below.

Congrats on ur success at the test. I know that as i reply to your post, you should either be through or at your interview venue.
And to all Job seekers, i've once said on this site that we should always keep our ears wide open. I did gate crashed for a UBA test in 2003 in Port Harcourt of wished i was among the lucky 50persons that passed and eventually got the job---though i left UBA after two(2) yrs. It really pays to keep our ears open at all times.

Am an IT person myself and most tell you that with that level of Experience you can get a job here that will pay you same or even more than that amount. The big telecom companies here can and also the big oil companies too will offer you more.If you aint in a hurry to get a job try submitting your CV's to www.mtnonline.com(you will have to register and also send a hard copy of your cv to their head office),www.celtel.com, www.gloworld.com.the oils coys like mobil,chevron,shell etc.I wish you all the best.
