I know this thread was opened to appeal to the senses of Biafra supporters (which I know it has) but let's look at this... war has no winner, both sides will be losers... I know Ojukwu saw the war as the only option (at that time) because of the progroms.. The military government was indifferent to what was going on..... but that war claimed lives... property worth millions were lost.... I am sure if Ojukwu had a rethink he would have considered other options other than war.... that's why I kind of feel sorry when people say : Biafra or War? Do they really know what war is? Do they think war is heroism? They haven't experienced war before.... just the pictures above makes me sick..... Nigeria has a big problem; a very big problem but violence is not the answer; it will never be..... We must sort out our problems..... Now, I know people will come for my head but I don't care It's the truth anyway...Now you'll see the two tribes insulting each other.. just wait they are coming... I am an Igbo man by the way

The aftermath of the war still haunts us today.... hatred, tribal and religious sentiments has eaten deep into the skin of every Nigerian..... insults are ready to be given at the slightest provocation....Some argue the war was fought because of freedom and injustice ( I agree) others argue that it was fought because of the greed of men, their ignorance( that I also agree) it was a mixture of both... it depends on how you see it and also how you argue..... Now I am waiting for the two tribes to start wishing each other death and sorrow. So, 1.....2...3....Go!

From the video I watched, I think the guy without tattoo is innocent and he was just intimidated...The guy with tatoo story does not add up ( he is the real culprit, his girlfriend also)... If anything his ( the slim guy) sentence should be minimal as he was coerced

I just want to say something: I like the way we Nigerians are on this BBN issue because it is a welcome distraction from the problems we are facing in Nigeria......If only we are as enthusiastic about the way our Politicians have misplaced priorities, the corruption of the elites, hunger, poverty.... the list goes on... if only we can hold rallies against corruption, have branded T-shirts against corruption, if only our celebrities will stand up against the poor living standards against Nigerians then we don't have a problem.... If only we campaign against all the vices in our society as we campaign for our favourite house mates. I am sure our situation will be different......I am not saying it is a bad thing to watch BBN and be as involved as we are but if we can also be involved as we are in BBN as we are in the problem that is facing the common man......There won't be a problem

Omg!! Just watched d video on FB, the lady that passed out was obviously in d midst of her enemies, one person actually made an effort to end d scuffle, but she was strongly warned against it. I could hear d cameraman saying, "na Weytin dem dey get for aproko b that" meaning they were all against d lady that was beaten into a state of coma. This is a disgrace.

Everyone is allowed freedom of movement, expression, conscience and belief.

Anyone is allowed to believe in Biafra, express their belief in Biafra, move around freely and rally for their belief in Biafra.

The only thing the law does not specify is how to go about getting Biafra

I don't agree with Biafra but I agree with you 100%. Everyone is entitled to their own belief and opinion but where the problem lies is trying to force it down everyone's throat. I've said it before, our problem is not Buhari or whoever but the National Assembly. They are the ones that make very stupid laws, the laws that they are supposed to pass are not passed instead, the laws are delayed by bureaucractic practices... and is not that they work everyday o, from what I've heard they work three times a week

I don't care what the world bank says about our present state as an economy. what i am interested in is to see that we begin to grow our own products locally so that we don't have to depend on any country for the basic necessities of life. That is what is affecting us in this part of the world
