Her husband is a rice farmer. He once told us that herdsmen usually destroy his rice farm and other farmers farmland and he chases them with cutlass. So one day he saw them on another farmer's farm and he wanted to chase them away the herdsmen laughed and told him that it is his not his concern after all he is not from my village that he should mind his business.

Apparently some people had told the herdsmen that whenever he chases them they should not run as he is not from our village so he has no right to chase them.

The man just went away and said it is no longer his concern anything the herdsmen like they should do to the land.

Are you a farmer? In Ukwulu people tend to complain and nothing gets done. Maybe the state government did but I don't know. You see your life what concerns herdsmen destroying farmlands with farm inputs. If their farms gets destroyed will farm inputs save them

Same way the okada men were complaining about extortion from police men and the igwe did not do anything for a long time.
