At least C and I made a revenue of N37 billion compared to the company on NGX that made a revenue of N5O million in a year. My small business did better than that.
Amoke Oge Canteen that sells Amala made N1 billion revenue in 9 months from people who ordered online.
Yet a business of over 30 years on NGX could only make a revenue of N50 million, no investment income sef You don't mean it. What's the name of the company that made 50 million Naira as revenue? |

na you be nsempa stocks police now? What you do not realize is that a company that started shady can straighten up.. what will you now say about Japaul that Jegede has stepped aside? Even if they remain shady, they can continue to rip off shareholders and still make a great success out of the business.. the areas of business of Japaul, Ellah, CI leasing, Caverton can bring in megawealth Japaul is raising 500b, Ellah 250b.. you think it doesn't make sense to give them a chance and see what they'll do with it? Check out the high powered boards of both companies.. Caverton just signed a massive deal with NNPC for marine services.. CI leasing has EV business and FG has a policy on that and a bill for EV is currently before the Senate sponsored by Orji Uzor Kalu. This is aside from CI leasing's marine business/services. Fortune favours the bold.. not the fearful. Have you heard "be greedy when others are fearful"? I will only come in when they have at least 10 years history of consistent good earnings and payment of dividends. I only buy stocks of good or excellent companies |

PETERiCHY: What of the folks that bought the so called premium stocks at highest price? They will surely get back their money through dividends in 14 to 20 years. Buying premium stocks is like someone who has houses to let in Victoria Island or Ikeja in Lagos or Asokoro in Abuja. |

UBA once drop from #65 to #3
ACCESSBK once from #50 to #3
So simply follow the MONEY and leave matter for Mathias.
BARGAIN HUNTERS TAKE NOTE! Those folks who bought at the lowest price have done far better than the Jijo folks trading junk stocks. The lowest price is even the best time to buy premium stocks. |

ositadima1: It’s perfectly fine if your goal is to invest for 10 years—there’s nothing wrong with that. The problem lies in thinking that just because you choose to do things one way, that automatically makes it the only valid approach.
The world is much bigger than whatever experience you believe you’ve accumulated. Not everyone aims to hold for a decade. Some are comfortable with capital appreciation while actively managing risk. Others, like us, identify stocks with potential—j ;Dust like we did when Ellah Lakes was below ₦3—set a target exit, and if our calculations are correct, we hit our goal.
Must everyone be your kind of investor? Must we all see the world in black and white? Think deeply about these questions. Okay o! Continue with your way while I continue with mine. |
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by EDUECO(m): 6:45am On Jul 02, 2025*. Modified: 7:41pm On Jul 02, 2025 |
ositadima1: So you agree they all carry risk. Now let’s look at the other side of the equation: returns. Ellah Lakes has much higher expected returns than the bank you mentioned—if you make an objective analysis.
The real question is: does the return justify the risk? You can’t answer that for others, because your projections are different from mine. We saw high potential based on genuine analysis—of course, with risk—but it was worth taking. So far, it’s paying off: the stock that once sold for ₦3 now goes for ₦8.
Is it worth buying now at the current price? That depends. Due diligence is essential, and the risk may be higher now than when it was ₦3. But, if an investor can justify the decision with thorough, in-depth analysis and proper risk management, then why not?
And we mitigated risk through diversification; I still hold some of those bank stocks. What I’m teaching you here—you won’t get it anywhere else for free. Stocks that I can't buy and hold for 10 years,I will never buy and hold even for 1 week. |

Risk is universal—even your dividend-paying stocks carry risk. The key is knowing how to manage it. If you don’t know how, ask me nicely, and I’ll school you on risk management. Ellah lakes has greater risk than my type of stocks(Zenith Bank, UBA and ACCESSCORP) Ellah lakes (above 70% risk) My type of stocks (below 10% risk). |

crownprince2017: If you want to know the real meaning of pumping, check juli daily trading last year when the price was moving, check geregu daily trading when it was moving..
You called a company that has been doing over 40m units on the average as being pumped? What's the average EPS for the last 3 years? Ellah lakes lacks substantial earnings to back up the increase in stock price. |
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by EDUECO(m): 4:46pm On Jul 01, 2025*. Modified: 7:56pm On Jul 01, 2025 |
ositadima1: It's actually very simple — I don't understand why you find this concept difficult.
At one point, a tricycle (keke) cost less than ₦500,000. A smart investor — let's call him Mr. A (or maybe just a sharp gambler) — could have connected the dots and concluded that this vehicle would outperform, based on what he observed from the motorcycle transport business.
If he had disposable income, he might have invested heavily in purchasing these tricycles, even while people like you were waiting for "hard facts" to emerge. By the time those facts became available, Mr. A would already own multiple units. If his calculations were correct, he'd make a fortune — which might be exactly what we're witnessing now, with the price of a single keke nearing ₦4 million and its growing effectiveness as a means of transportation.
If you still don't get it, that's okay. Stick to what you understand — and let the rest of us play the game.
What if there is no buyer for your Keke(Ellah lakes); and that's were earning through dividend comes to play.. In this case, your Keke(Ellah lakes) has poor or no earning that can guarantee consistent dividends. |
