DeRuggedProff: The algorithmic statisticians who have been normalizing 10 days are now applying RK4, Fourth Order Runge-Kutta method to a single day deviation (now two days). Before they finish their long iterations, the original function must have transformed unrecognizably... All their lengthy simulations will no longer apply as the ODE ( Ordinary Differential Equation) must have irreversibly transformed!.. Never use a sledge hammer to obliterate an innocent fly! Fundamental analysis should always come before technical analysis. That is,never you over pay for a stock of any company. Ignoring the above will always lead to negative consequences like the loss in stock price or you are unable to sell when you intend to sell. |

He should make sure to successfully test everything himself before showing off. Otherwise, he may end up like those who were badmouthing EllahLakes based on a single viewpoint. And yet, here we are — the stock keeps rising. Sooner or later, their mouths will go quiet, whether they come from the streets or not. What is the earning per share from 2022 to 2024? The stock price of Ellah lakes is not sustainable in the long run. The stock price is being pumped. |

stokfrick: If you use this same energy used in typing all these in abid to pressure struggling and poor citizens, to force our politicians to stop embezzling public funds first, I think you would not need to convince citizens to pay tax. Talk of putting the cart before the horse. Except you're somehow directly or indirectly benefiting from the ongoing rip-off In China, embezzlement of public funds is a more severe crime than armed robbery; but in Nigeria, armed robbery is more severe than embezzlement of public funds. Nigeria can never attain its full potential without the severe criminalization of treasury looting.

Erniemax101: For some reasons I see Ellah lakes as a house of cards that will soon crumble down, but then again the market always has a way of outsmarting even the best of us. No,they said it will not crumble;and that it's a company with great growth potential without considering the high risk of an agro-allied company without excellent track record. They also said Ellah lakes will soon get to N100. Okomu Oil with 2024 full year EPS(earning per share)of about N36 and a consistent dividend is not supposed to be more than N250 ;and someone is expecting Ellah lakes with insignificant EPS to get to N100. |

Mankind2024: The Federal Government of Nigeria kept to its promise that there would be a new undertaker in the country(NRS). The undertaker was proposed to take the wealth of the rich for the poor. In the whole universe, the rich are not known to be victims of tax undertakers. They devise several legal means of rendering the tax undertakers powerless; in the end, the poor are the real victims of tax undertakers(NRS)
What NSEMPA forum investors must do to render the new undertaker(NRS) a toothless bulldog:
1. Be a sole proprietor; register your business. 2. Borrow to invest; use your portfolio as collateral at a great bargain. No one pays tax on borrowed funds. 3. As the CEO (the Tony Elumelu of your company), the business takes care of you and your family's day-to-day expenditures, including business retreats to Rwanda and London. Same way our resources take care of the politicians and all goverment workers. 4. Any good thing you see in any well-furnished bank or government office also qualifies to be in your business office and home by virtue of being a director. 5. Consider an offshore current account in the Isle of Jersey for a family investment corporation; this would grant you access to all the free brokers in the US. An alternative to this is citizenship by investment in selected overseas countries. This would counter their Panama choice, since Nigerian pastors and politicians and Panama are numbers 5, 6, and 7. 6. As a director, all your family members' responsibilities and those over 18 years are qualified for non-taxable minimum wage. 7. A company accountant or bookkeeper is necessary for documenting all expenditures. 8. A small room in your house is needed for the purpose of transferring all domestic expenditures to the registered business. As a matter of fact, the registered business address should be your house. No more electricity bills, petrol, or diesel for running generators from your pocket. 9. At the end of the day, the new tax undertaker(NRS) would need to refund you year in and year out since you are only expected to pay tax after profit. Directors earn zero salary; only non-taxable allowances. 10. Finally, year 1: capital loss; year 2: VAT refunds from all brokerage commissions, purchases and bank charges. Yes, here we come. The undertaker is effectively buried.☠️💀😵 Numbers 7 to 10 is how some billionaires in the USA pay little tax . |

INVESTING ESSENTIALS Key Factors to Consider When Selecting Stocks for Investment March 22, 2024 Introduction: Diving into the world of stocks can feel like embarking on a thrilling adventure, but it’s not all about the rush. Success in equities trading requires more than just blind excitement; it demands careful strategy and calculated moves. Before you take the plunge, arm yourself with the knowledge of what truly matters when choosing your investments. Understand the Fundamentals Before investing in any stock, it’s essential to understand the fundamentals of the company. This includes evaluating factors such as revenue, earnings, growth potential, competitive advantage, and management team. By conducting thorough research and analysis, investors can gain insight into the company’s financial health and prospects for future growth. Check for Dividend-Paying Stocks Dividend-paying stocks can provide investors with a steady stream of income in addition to potential capital appreciation. When selecting stocks to invest in, consider companies that have a history of paying consistent dividends and have the potential to increase dividend payouts over time. Dividend-paying stocks can be particularly attractive for income-focused investors seeking reliable returns. Evaluate Long-Term Profitability Investors should focus on companies with a track record of long-term profitability and sustainable business models. Look for companies that demonstrate consistent earnings growth, strong cash flow generation, and solid return on equity. Companies with a history of profitability are more likely to withstand economic downturns and generate attractive returns for shareholders over the long term. Research the Stock Market and Companies on the NGX Before making investment decisions, it’s essential to stay informed about the stock market and individual companies. Take advantage of resources available on the Nigerian Exchange (NGX), such as market data, company financials, analyst reports, and news updates. By staying informed about market trends and company developments, investors can make more informed investment decisions. Wahala for we newbies, who we go follow like this...🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓 Yes, they're mediocre companies for the 3 years they haven't paid dividends. Is Airtel not in the same Nigeria as MTN? MTN made profit, but the management decided to cook their book to declare loss or not to pay dividend. Consistent payment of good dividend is synonymous with integrity and real value. |

One man's meat, another's poison.

All those who may have ''mediocre stocks'' can sell off immediately; those who know ''expert stocks'' can hold or buy more! Shikena! Matter don finish! Thank you! When things are not very good, it is ''normal'' for people to come up with various conspiracy theories. I don't buy mediocre stocks(stocks that don't pay dividend consistently). |

The apostles of junk stocks are already out this morning to market their merchandise! Newbies should never be carried away by their deceptive machinations. Real value in the stock market investment comes from earning through consistent payment of dividends not from the name of the founders. Junk stocks lack consistent payment of good dividends and as such they're inferior to premium stocks. You will always get capital appreciation from premium stocks if you're very good with trading/timing skills Do you know why I advise against buying junk stocks because they lack integrity and consistency(because they don't pay good dividends consistently),and you will probably lose your life savings while trading in them. |

Mankind2024: Just imagine – the Nigerian Customs recently submitted a budget of over N1 trillion plus and Rivers State also presented a budget of over N1 trillion plus. The comparison is striking: a whole state versus a parastatal. It's a thought-provoking exercise in fiscal scale. More than half of the budget will be embezzled. The reason why Nigeria is not where it is supposed to be is because of bad governance. It is the same bad or mediocre management that affects listed Nigerian companies;as a result, these companies are either not making profit or making poor profit. |

GeneralDae: Nigeria changing her tax laws as a whole for the first time since independence in 1960. We have been using tax laws prepared by colonialists before independence. Crazy. And the politicians will continue their looting culture from the revenue actualized from the new tax reform. I support the tax reform; but I am very sure a large portion of the new tax revenue is going to be embezzled by state actors. |
