EDUECO: This current short market bull will likely come to an end in the next 4 businesss days. I was probably right.
The market is gradually reversing. I was probably right! Reversal is already visible. The Jijo folks are tremendously booking profit. |

What I observed in market is profit taking...... Some of the stocks are moving back up now... Quite some on full bid... Profit taking is directly proportional to market reversal. Like I said before, the market will probably reverse in the next 3 business days. |

SonofElElyonRet: "In its recently released unaudited financial report for Q1 2025, Deap Capital Management & Trust Plc (DEAPCAP) presented another troubling quarter of negative performance across virtually all key financial metrics.
The figures paint a dire picture for the embattled company, further compounding concerns about its long-term viability as a going concern.
Yet, what has puzzled investors and market watchers alike is the apparent disconnect between these dismal numbers and the sporadic upward movement in the company’s stock price on the Nigerian Exchange (NGX).
Deap Capital’s Q1 2025 numbers revealed a cascade of deteriorating financial indicators:
Fee and Commission Income, a modest stream for financial services companies, rose slightly from zero to N1.5 million year-on-year. While this uptick is positive on paper, the amount remains far too small to offset mounting expenses" The 'Ololos' are in town! In the last 2 years, majority of fundamentally dead stocks have gained more in price than some fundamentally sound ones. |

Read up on him on Wikipedia New 'Ololos' are already active and they are behind the astronomical gain in price of fundamentally weak stocks. It isn't a surprise to me that no dividend paying stocks are even gaining more in price than the dividend paying ones. I already know the 'Ololos' are in town. |

jeshurun08: I have some stocks of geregu but I noticed that the stock is not moving and I cannot sell the ones I have. I would like to know why it is difficult to get a buyer for the stock and why has the price been constant for so long The reason you cannot sell is that the stock price is being manipulated, there are no real buyers for Geregu shares. Geregu's stock price is not supposed to be more than N200. In fact Geregu is N60 stock when calculated from the shareholder's fund(that is the equity). |

That only happens in Indian movies oh Don't let western propaganda confuse you;Iran is still in possession of sophisticated missiles the USA and Israel have not discovered. In the Nigerian Stock Market, Fidelity Bank is like Iran and First Bank is like the USA/Israel For the past 10 years, Fidelity Bank has done better than First Bank with respect to both dividend and capital appreciation. |

NSEstudent: Instead of Dialogue you said...but the Iranians refused to come to the negotiation table (Trump said he gave them 60 days which expired).
Also, you didn't say anything about the groups they have been sponsoring to attack the two countries. Is it not USA that is destabilizing other countries? The USA and Israel have caused more conflicts than Iran. Lybia, Afghanistan and Iraq are recent examples of nations the USA has destabilized. |
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by EDUECO(m): 7:27pm On Jun 22, 2025 |
Streetinvestor2: I disagree. You make it look like Iran is innocent of the accusations. Why has Iran government been sponsoring all this terrorist groups outside thr country. If they had just concentrated on thr nuclear projects without affiliations to this terror groups and not threatening this two countries I would have believed they would use it for pure economic purposes.
You want them to wait till another September 11 happens abi . China will never go to physical war with America for any country unless attacked directly by America The truth is always bitter! USA and Israel are both war morgering nations; instead of dialogue, both Israel and the USA attacked Iran. I believe they have met their match; unlike in the case of Palestine. |

franchasofficia: 2.) China
China comes second on my list. Not because they have active war experience but Chinese population and technological innovation of recent calls for recognition.
China is still struggling economy wise; there are no enough good jobs for Chinese citizens, all thanks to their enormous population, but still they deserve the second slot because they are making serious efforts to end poverty and unemployment in China. Not enough goods in China? I don't think you're informed. |

jonnysessy: Any of the interim-dividend-paying-bank that fails to pay interim dividend after H1 results had been released must still be sinking in CBN forbearance. This will be the only way to judge them. Not on the beautiful PR released by the banks. Firstholdco can't be judge by this since it had long stopped the payment of interim dividend. I also believe the information can be gotten from H1 results. Hence, expect a delay from H1 reports from banks. You're right! Interim dividend is a measurement of the reliability or efficiency of these banks. |
