Essienovic: It's not uncommon to see the drastic change in behaviour of many nigerian women after relocating overseas.
They become disrespectful towards their husbands, refuse to apologise over their wrongs but rather constantly use abusive words on their husbands, some even go to the point of calling the police on their husbands.
Guys, what do you think can be done to prevent this behaviour and if already ongoing how can it be managed effectively?
Table tennis, golf and lawn tennis are the only forms of exercise and signs of youth they know. I blame ignorant Nigerians. Na them dey chop everything hook, line and sinker.
The only sure way to know is to ask him via social media. You seem the type to argue with whatever genre he’ll call the song. If he calls it Afrobeats, will you finally rest?
Samantha125: Yes, but we have a genre for that type of a sound here and it's not amapiano.
There are no Afrobeat or amapiano beats there, unless he doesn't know what Afrobeat and amapiano sound like.
But then again, how sure are we that he wouldn't know about lekompo music? I mean some music producers do their homework before making their beats... Beyonce sampled many unpopular songs from around the world and made them popular without anyone knowing anything about it and it is also alleged that she also sampled a song by South Africa's Brenda Fassie... Who'd have ever thought she knew anything about Brenda Fassie?
Name it Afrobeats and call it a day. Compartmentalization is the white man’s specialty. Africans don’t care. We make good music and dance to it. The reason so many genres exist in South Africa is because white people run the place. They don’t want to mix their music with “those people’s.”
marthagossip: They do oo but this season was the worst so far.. hopefully bbnaija organisers will step up their game next season.
They won’t. They will feed viewers the same slop they’ve dished for years on end. Nigerians in majority are not creative. If an initiative makes them money, they will not change anything regarding it. See Nairaland as a glaring example.

Na their workout; trolling online. Bored children. They don’t know what a gym looks like yet them chook mouth for the matter.
The problem is, after uni, women chase men for romantic intentions. As such you see them loiter in places men are known to frequent. If women haven’t made themselves available to you, it’s your fault. Those of us who improve on ourselves routinely get approached. Men go for what they see. The tighter the clothes and the more skin shown, the higher the probability of catching a man.
Churches are hookup spots too. Why don’t they make news headlines?
JackDaAlienz: Guys i dont know how to handle this situation. A brothel just opened last month beside my house. If i had known that such a place will be built around me i would have not rented that apartment.
During day time. Everywhere is calm until from 7pm till 1am 2am!!! All i hear is bitches arguing and fighting over customers. Loud music with annoying hypeman. Making noise all night
Early in the morning these girls come outside and continue arguing and shouting disturbing the street.
How do i handle this Also i keep seeing rough looking guys roaming my area at night. The street no longer feel safe.
What should i do?
Una go dey form lions online. Once trouble come una way, na under bed una dey hide till the place quiet.
Wait till your rent expires then move out. Easy work. Get ear plugs to aid your sleep at night. I would prefer a brothel next door over a church ten times over. Churches are the worst killers of sleep and peace of mind in this country.
Lol. People follow ex-housemates from this season? BBNaija don die. Lower numbers will view this year’s season. The show is easy money for Multichoice. It will take place.
Why should I care for politics which aren’t Nigerian? The shenanigans in my country don’t shorten my sleep. Those thousands of kilometres away don’t even register. Every man to him cup.
Old and possibly fake story. Tensions have dropped of recent. These sort of news look comedic to me now. All the trolls opening threads on the situation long got bored and have moved back to IPOB and ronu matters.
This story na once weekly for Nairaland? I posted a comment on it last week if not two weeks ago also. Is this the new Married At School, Single At Home?
Eberechukwu4u: I never imagined that the people I trusted most would be the ones to shatter my world. My life took a sharp turn the moment I found out that my own sister—my immediate younger sister—is pregnant for my husband. It felt like a nightmare I couldn’t wake up from. I thought betrayal had a limit, but this went far beyond anything I could have prepared for.
When I turned to my mother for comfort and guidance, hoping she’d help me make sense of the chaos, her response broke me even more. Instead of being outraged or even sympathetic, she calmly told me that my husband should marry my sister as well. According to her, it wasn’t anyone’s fault that my husband found my sister attractive. She brushed it off like it was some unfortunate but acceptable twist of fate.
My husband, to his credit—or maybe shame—hasn’t agreed to marry my sister, though he hasn’t exactly denied responsibility for what happened either. Meanwhile, my sister is refusing to terminate the pregnancy. She says she wants to keep the baby, and she’s not sorry for how things turned out. She believes fate brought them together. It’s like I’ve been written out of my own story.
I’m drowning in betrayal, heartbreak, and confusion. The people I thought would protect and love me the most are now the ones tearing me apart. I’m losing my sanity trying to figure out what to do, how to move forward, or if that’s even possible. I feel trapped between pain and pressure—with no clear way out.
Sixteen is the official number. I saw many conflicting figures that I gave up on knowing how many people were killed.
Life is worthless in Africa. I will say space was created for newborns. Thousand have died and no justice has come their way. What more for another sixteen? This was caught on camera, hence the many talks and Nairaland threads dedicated. This past week, at least three cases of jungle justice have taken place with nobody caring to broadcast the events. As such, they are lost to history and no fanfare accompanied them.
That little boy needs walks in the park. Haba, who hates him so much?! At least this smallie is making herself useful. Her mates are on Nairaland trolling someone's existence. To write JAMB, they will only fail.
Sunshine34: I seldom felt pain below my abdomen, initially I thought it's pile (jedi), I bought local herbs ( agbo), but the pain hasn't change, Has anyone experience something like this before, could it be typhoid or infection, I will be going for scan later in the day,
chefetalkane: I met Chibundo Peace Ndekereofu, who calls herself Shalom, online months ago, and we hit it off talking about everything—careers, faith in God, and even the chance of a relationship if we were compatible. She kept hinting at visiting me, saying we should meet face-to-face, but it never happened. She’s a corper, and she told me after her service she’d return home, far from me, so we needed to plan something soon. I was already set to be in her area for another reason, so I told her to hold off until I got there.
Then came the sob story: she claimed she’d been kicked out of the family house she was staying in during her service. Feeling sorry for her, I negotiated a hotel room for her to stay in until I arrived and sent her the money to cover it. But this girl had the nerve to keep saying she hadn’t received it, sending me alert messages from another of her accounts, thinking I’d be fooled into believing it was the same bank I sent it to. I asked for a legit screenshot from her banking app, and she dodged me with, “I only use USSD.” The lies were glaring, and I wasn’t buying her cheap tricks anymore.
When I told her I’d go online and expose her for the fraud she is, she flipped out, told me to go to hell, and blocked me on WhatsApp and Twitter like the spineless coward she is. Chibundo Peace Ndekereofu (Shalom) is a disgusting, manipulative leech who preys on people’s trust and goodwill. If she’s out there pulling this on anyone else, steer clear—this shameless liar doesn’t deserve an ounce of respect or sympathy. She’s a disgrace, and I hope everyone sees her for the trash she truly is.

Is she a Nairaland member? If she isn’t, no point for me to care.
