Seems like your battery is no longer holding on to its charge for a long time which would be the reason for the sound and sudden power off symptom. As far as over heating is concerned you should take precautions like not putting the computer on your bed or soft fluffy surfaces you should try to use a table or something hard so the vents are not blocked. I suggest looking into a new battery.

The battery is okay, I dont know wat happen, i fix all the system problem at HP support centre on the system and the system is back to is normal self,

But the charger is remove or when there is no light. It bring up a sound, and after 20-30mins it will go off suddenly, I now notice that the system goes off whenever it overheat. (the under will be really HOT!) Like OVen,

Can it be overheat , please i need help, The system just start acting funny since last week.

@aieromon: Well, I was treated in similar fashion also initially. I then promptly called someone I know upstairs and while discussing with him, I was quickly offered the modem with an offer of immediate activation by the staff on the counter there. I cannot understand why the modems will not be available at H/Q but they claim they are available at other outlets.I smelt a rat, as I believe they simply find a way of acquiring these modems and probably reselling at a profit.
Their attitude also seemed to have been swayed, in part, by my truthful claim that I am going to be using the modem for my office.

Hi everyone, good to read you all again.Victor you are always welcome back, I'm worried though because in a week or two I will have to make a modem swap and pay for one month starcomm subscription.I'll go for the N8000 surf business just to reduce my exposure in the event that I have to pay for Zoomblast N15000 if the starcomms messes up.
