With due respect, Cato3 needs to be called out on some misinformation being diseminated here.
Firstly, (this is the least of our worries but still.......) the training will be in Lagos NOT Kaduna.
Secondly, the last batch of cadet officers that passed out this year had some states with more than 10 cadets (Anambra being one of these).
Finally, in previous recruitment exercises, cadets/candidates were hardly required to go to Abuja. The 1st interviews normally hold @ the state level, followed by the 2nd one @ the regional/zonal office. But then the service has a fairly new DG and this would be the first recruitment under him, so things might just be organised differently.
I stand to be corrected on these few points.
In the final analysis, all these permutations do not really matter as long as one gets the job.
With God on our side, we shall surely get there.

Ok, I just spoke to my contacts & was reliably informed that Anambra has indeed sent a list to Abuja, but it's just a list of the people that passed the test. Abuja will screen the list & advise the State command accordingly. It's only then that interviews will commence @ Awka.
Bottom line - Interviews will DEFINITELY hold at Awka at some point. Best believe. Peace out!

ZUBINO,the highest number SSS has ever recruits in CADET level is 3 per state.but the feelers getting to me says that they might increase the number to 5 this yr.

Cato3, get your facts straight - the training is @ Lagos, not Kaduna. As for your take on the final number of candidates to be selected per state, you are also WRONG on that count. The last batch had over 10 cadets (for Anambra, @ least).

@ Cato3 - With due respect, I beg to disagree with your postulation on the Anambra case. The command can not just forward 10 names to Abuja based on their test scores without meeting the 10 face to face 1st. What if out of the 10, say 3 or 4 are handicapped in one way or the other and thus fall below the physical requirements for the service?? Afterall you can only verify someone's physical fitness when you get to meet the person, and not based on the person's test score. No??

They took #1,300 airtime from my phone on Thursday night and left me with #0.00. I just checked now and discovered they have returned just #570 only. This is unacceptable!!

Around 600 (10% of 6000) passed the test?? So that means they are yet to invite all the successful candidates for interviews naa. Hmmmm, hope still dey sha.

Ok, so I called the HR number and got the impression that the lady (Adeola) had been getting such calls lately. She was at pain to explain that she was only asked to send those text messages, and that as long as one was contacted after the 2nd test, they would definitely get back to the person when they are ready. According to her, they were still to invite anybody though (sales people, that is).

***sighs*** If only there was a way we could get all these verified,
