Why is my baby sweating so much? Here are some of the reasons why your baby may be sweating: 1. Crying or fussing themselves into a sweat Crying can be hard work and require a lot of energy. (So can calming your little one during one of these fussing sessions!) If your baby is crying hard or has been crying for a long time, they can become sweaty and red in the face. Bacteria and viruses in the saliva or blood of one person can be spread to another person by kissing. Some diseases are more easily spread than others. Diseases can be spread from person to person in a number of ways: Contact spread – some diseases are spread directly from person to person, for example during kissing, or indirectly when you touch a contaminated surface or object. Droplet spread – infected droplets from the nose and throat can usually travel around one metre before they drop onto a surface. Sometimes infected droplets can also linger in the air. Infection occurs when the infected droplet is inhaled or someone comes into contact with a contaminated surface or object. Airborne spread – some infected particles from the nose and throat can remain in the air for a long time because of their tiny size. They are called droplet nuclei and can be inhaled directly into the lungs. Examples of illnesses caused by viruses that can be transmitted during kissing include: 1. Colds Cold is also known as upper respiratory tract infections. Many different viruses can cause the common cold. Colds are thought to be spread by direct contact with the virus. You could catch the cold from airborne droplets or by direct contact with secretions (fluids and mucous) from the infected person’s nose and throat. 2. Glandular fever Also called “the kissing disease”. Glandular fever is the common term for a viral infection called infectious mononucleosis, caused by the Epstein-Barr virus. The virus is spread through saliva and infection occurs through contact. 3. Herpes infection Viruses that are considered part of the herpes family include Epstein-Barr, varicella-zoster (causes chickenpox) and herpes simplex (causes cold sores). Herpes simplex virus can be spread through direct contact with the virus when kissing. Herpes is most easily spread to others when the blisters are forming or have erupted. The virus can be ‘shed’ (spread to others) from the site of blisters even when they have healed. Chickenpox is easily spread from person to person by direct contact, droplets or airborne spread. 4. Hepatitis B Kissing may also transmit this virus, although blood has higher levels of this virus than saliva. Infection can occur when infected blood and saliva come into direct contact with someone else’s bloodstream or mucous membranes. (Mucous membranes line various body cavities including the mouth and nose.) A person is more likely to be infected when kissing if they have open sores in or around the mouth. 5. Warts Kissing can also transmit warts in the mouth can be spread through kissing, especially if there are areas of recent trauma. Meningococcal disease This is a potentially life-threatening condition which includes meningitis, inflammation of the membranes (meninges) that surround the brain and spinal cord, and septicaemia. Today, I will be sharing with you how Nigeria can adopt How Sri Lanka ended terrorism by isolating the media and the UN before killing all terrorists and bandits. As a Nigeria who is concerned with the insecurity challenges faced by our dear country, that has not speared any part or region and has claimed the lives and properties of people, I have to regurgitate about how Nigeria can solve the problem of insecurity, with minimal effort and resources available to the country and found out that the "Sri Lanka Option" is the best option that can be applied to solve the problem of insecurity in Nigeria as fast as possible. So what is the "Sri Lanka Option" and how can it solve Nigeria Insecurity problem? Prelude Nigeria as a country is basically divided into Six (6) Geo-Political zones, namely; North East, North West, North Central, South East, South West and South South respectively. All these mentioned zones are currently being faced with a particular security challenge that has led to the loss of lives and properties. Nigeria Security Challenges By Geo-Political Zone North East In the past, the North East zone which is regarded as the sanctuary of insurgency and terrorism is facing attacks from Boko Haram insurgents in collaboration with the Islamic in West Africa and Provinces (ISWAP) groups, who are equipped with sophisticated weapons that can face the Nigerian Army in combat. These groups of terrorists have caused havoc in the North East, most especially Borno and Yobe States respectively. They have attacked marketplaces, higher institutions, government facilities, settlements and kidnapped people. North West The North West Geo-Political Zone is also being bombarded by bandit attacks. These bandits have kidnapped, kill and destroyed properties of people. They have been able to create terror in the mind of people in the zone and attacked several schools, settlements and government facilities. Not only are these, the zone also fighting terrorism from Boko Haram insurgents. North Central This zone is not spared as well from kidnappers, and killer herdsmen that invade farmlands and destroy plants and crops that are the sustenance of the people in the zone. These kidnappers have abducted scores of people, kill them, extort money from their families or the government, molest and rape their victims. The Zone has also been infiltrated by the Boko Haram insurgents. South East This zone was the most peaceful zone until recent, when people the media refers to as 'Unknown Gunmen' began to attack police formations and military posts, killing policemen, freeing prisoners, and stealing police weapons after attacks. Just a few days ago, they attacked the home of the Governor of Imo State by burning done his house and destroying properties worth millions of Naira. This region is the home to another proscribed terrorist organization named as IPOB who are regarded as the mastermind behind the attacks on government facilities in the Zone. South West This zone was also very peaceful until the advent of killer herdsmen, ritualist and Yahoo Yahoo boys. The killer herdsmen have in the past reign havoc on farmlands, destroyed local settlement, rape women and kill men. Same as the ritualist and the Yahoo Yahoo boys who are internet fraudsters that dupe people of their hard earn money. South South The major problem of this zone is the Militant groups that are demanding for the rights of the oil producing communities. At first, they were peaceful, but they later metamorphosed into attacking public institutions and facilities. The Sri Lanka Option With the ban on media, human rights groups, UN, killing of terrorists and leaving no witnesses, Sri Lanka was able to end a 3 decades long act of terrorism in 2012, which since then no record of any act of terrorism has been recorded. In fact the government and military around the world, most especially countries that are faced by the act of terrorism are under-studying the Sri Lanka Option of combating terrorism. The country is the only country in the world that has successfully ended terrorism in this modern age. Application To Nigeria Security Challenges Sri Lanka is 65,610 Km in land mass with 21 million population. This population can be easily control with effective government policy unlike Nigeria which is presently at 220 million populations and divided along tribal and religious affiliations. So how do we achieve our own 'Sri Lanka Option'? In Nigeria, there are very prominent state actors who believe that a fight against Boko Haram is a fight against the North, a fight against IPOB is a fight against the East, a fight against the killer herdsmen is a fight against the Fulani dynasty and so on. These actors need to be fish out and place under security watch; they must be sanctioned or eliminated. All terrorist must be eliminated, no rehabilitation. Terrorists thrive on media and propaganda; they are abundantly and gracefully been supplied with the two in Nigeria. The government seems helpless in decisively dealing with those behind it. Until the current government realize the dire consequences and know that you cannot treat cancer with paracetamol, we will not make headway. The media and propagandists are to be isolated as well. I sometimes wonder why Twitter, Facebook and all the others are allowed to fuel all the lies and propaganda of the terrorist and secessionist; will the World end if they are strictly regulated? Hello friends, in today’s post, i want to discuss the newly acquired Bozena 5 mine clearing vehicle by Nigerian army, this is a right step in the right direction in our fight against terrorism. Land mines and IEDs (Improvised Explosive Devices) planted by the Boko Haram terrorists in territories they no longer hold have blown many vehicles, killing the occupants and dismembering soldiers. The Nigerian Army saw that the task of scanning for and disposal of these explosive devices was time consuming and dangerous to the troops. Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Or Bomb Disposal Unit At Work: This led to the procurement of the Bozena 5 demining system which has reduced the occurrence of IED and mine explosions on military convoys and ground troops. Now I am going to write about the Bozena 5 and its amazing capabilities and features. The Bozena 5 is an unmanned mine clearance equipment that was developed by Slovak Way Industries which can be controlled from a 5000m distance by a single operator with remote control system. It is designed for terrain demining from conventional AP (antipersonnel) and AT (antitank) land mines and for IED removal assistance. Its approach of safety is based on remote control operation and its noteworthy blast resistance of explosives equivalent to 9kg of TNT (trinitrotoluene). It can basically operate with both the rotating Flail chain and Tiller tools for effective demining operations. Its system consists of Prime mover and detachable working unit basically the Flail or Tiller for mine clearance, operators cab and transport trailer. The Flail and Tiller consists of 52 chain bound maces, which are rotating at a 400-500 turn per minute. The Bozena 5 is equipped with an armoured plate at the back of the vehicle's chain system and video cameras with wireless picture transmission and GPS for operations beyond line if sight. The vehicle has a total weight of 12,020kg, height of 3,350mm, length of 7,320mm and mine clearance depth of 350mm. The vehicle has a EURO III standard TATRA T3C-928-81 turbo engine rated at 270kW which gives the vehicle a maximum speed of 9km/h. The fuel tank capacity and battery life of the vehicle which can carry out mine clearing tasks is 270l and 11 hours respectively. It is suitable for clearance of large mine affected areas in northeast Nigeria due to its potential, size and limit. Aside from demining, the Bozena 5 can be used for clearance of bushes and low vegetation with a height of up to five meters. It can also be used transport and handling of dangerous materials or as a digging machine, after change of working devices. Suspected members of the Islamic State in West Africa Province (ISWAP) have stolen about two Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles from the Nigerian Army, TheCable understands. Amaq, a propaganda news agency used by the insurgents, in a Monday bulletin showed the tactical vehicles stolen from the troops. Military sources who spoke with TheCable over the matter said the incident occurred around Mainok, when the tactical vehicles were being escorted to Maiduguri, Borno state capital. That was how Mainok came under attack on Sunday. The troops escorting the MRAPs were said to have stopped by at the military base, following the attack. One of the army commanders in the area was said to have received a call that some friendly forces were closer to the military camp. “Unknown to the troops, the said friendly forces were the ISWAP insurgents,” one of the sources said. “In fact, they had come with about four other MRAPs. They got into the base, and while a larger part of the soldiers were relaxed, they opened fire on them, and moved out the two MRAPs being taken to Maiduguri. “It is difficult to figure how communication got compromised that the commander got the wrong signal.” Another source said “the MRAPs they came in with to attack were stolen weeks ago in Buratai, when the insurgents attacked. They also now have this APC they rebuilt with caterpillar parts”. When contacted, Mohammed Yerima, army spokesperson, denied that the troops lost tactical vehicles to the insurgents. Earlier, the army said it lost an officer and six soldiers in the attack on Mainok. The army had also said it engaged the insurgents in a gun fight and that many of them were killed.
