Could the outcome of APC NEC meeting today be the end of the road for Oshiomole and Tinubu?

The Personal Assistant to President Buhari on media, Bashir Ahmad made the known to the general public on the decisions taken by the NEC.

According to Buhari's PA, the major decision taken in that meeting was the dissolving of the National Working Committee, and the setting up of Caretaker Committee

The new caretaker committee is headed by the Executive Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni.

The party immediately mandated the new committee to fix the party convention within 6 months from today.

The implications of this is that Ahmed Bola Tinubu may lose his grip and relevance in APC, this because Mala Buni is never on his side.

In the mean time, National Vice Chairman, South-South, Hilliard Eta, who is representing Ajimobi that has been doing combating COVID-19, raised an alert, on Wednesday, asserting dangers to his life by individuals he depicted as political hooligans working from Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

George Floyd's Murder Suspects Knew they were Killing Him, It was a complete plan to kill him, and not lack of training

Mr. Medaria Arradondo, a black Minneapolis police chief pictured above has analyzed the circumstances surrounding the death of George Floyd in the hands of four police officers May 25th 2020.

In Medaria’s opinion, the demise of George Floyd had nothing to do with a lack of training on the side the four discharged cops.

Recall that Medaria Arradondo announced the sacking of white cop Derek Chauvin and Tou Thaohad just few days after the killing of George Floyd.

According to Medaria, the four officers involved in this shameful act has finalized Minneapolis Police Department training formulated to teach cops to apprehend and restrict suspects in ways they could still inhale and exhale.

He further stated clearly that Mr. George Floyd's tragic death was not due to a lack of training; according to him, the training was there. Chauvin knew what he was doing.

As seen on videos that circulated all over the internet, on May 25, Derek Chauvin squeezed his two knees on George Floyd's neck for the period of seven minutes and 46 seconds.

After George Floyd became unresponsive, the other three cops failed to interfere to move him to a posture where George Floyd could breathe.

Even spectator’s footage of the occurrence exhibits George Floyd handcuffed and begging for him to breathe.

Medaria Arradondo explained how the cops had been trained on positional asphyxia and how to prevent it. The training covers moving a suspect from an inclined position into a healing position, which means seated or on their side.

Mr. Medaria Arradondo therefore concluded in the announcement that the four police officers knew exactly what was happening, one of them deliberately caused it, and the others didn’t do anything to prevent it.

Even after George Floyd went into cardiopulmonary arrest, Derek Chauvin still maintained his knee on George Floyd's neck while he was on the dirt handcuffed.

Conclusively, when the medics arrived the scene, Derek still didn’t want to let go off George. Indeed, it was a premeditated act.

My neighbour is a hard working, low income person who works as a clerk in a court while driving his car as taxi in the evenings to earn extra income.

His wife is a petty trader who is not doing too badly but loves to put pressure on the man! She always believed she belonged to a "higher" class than their level of living. Always demanding things that are not needed.

Anyway, one day she fell seriously ill and had to be operated upon after already spending two weeks on admission in the hospital.

The poor husband had spent over N300,000 before the need for operation came up. Now he had to cough out another N84,000! He had nothing, he ran from pillar to post. His wife was dying, he was confused!!!

After a delay of two days without being able to raise money, he decided to use his car as a collateral to get a loan for his wife's operation. As he was preparing to leave his room, his car keys fell underneath the bed.

While trying to search for it, he noticed a bulge at the bottom part of the mattress. On searching it, he discovered N250,000 carefully hidden INSIDE the mattress!!!!

So his wife had money at home all this while that he was running helter skelter! The woman didn't even pity herself...he thought! Chei!!!

A week later the woman was discharged after a successful operation.

When she got home, she immediately noticed the new mattress on their bed.

On asking about the old mattress, the man explained to her that there were a lot of insects disturbing the old mattress so he burnt it and bought a new one!

Even his children confirmed that they even helped their father burn the mattress.

It has been over 6 weeks and the women is still crying whenever you see her! Ask her what is causing her tears, she will say "the place they did the operation is still paining her".

I want to share with you the big lesson of life i learned this morning, the 18th day of May 2020, at about 8:15am.

I was sitting and relaxing in front of my house this morning when I saw this amazing event; a dead wasp as you can see in the photo below was spotted by an ant, I watched this tiny ant moved round about the dead wasp for a while and went away.

The Big Lesson I Learned This Morning in Front of My House

Shortly after that, I began seeing about 5-10 of these tiny ants moving towards the dead wasp, before five minutes, the tiny ants have increased to over 50 in number.

They all gathered the dead wasp as if they were killing it the second time, behold, by the time I looked closely, they were already dismembering the wasp.

Mind you, the dead wasp is more that 100 times the size of one of these ants.

These tiny ants successfully dismembered the wasp, meanwhile, as they were doing this, more than 30 more ants have arrived.

They successfully dismembered the wasp and began carrying it bit by bit into their hole. I was full of amazement; I learned from these ants that if we can cooperate as family, as friends or with one another, we can accomplish giant fits.

Friends, there is tremendous power in cooperation; what you could not have successfully accomplished as an individual, you can accomplish as a group and with ease.


Let us stop being selfish, let us join hands with one another and we will successfully and swiftly accomplish great task.

1. These tiny ants had no one supervising them, they just agreed, and trust one another to work together for a common goal.


2. The wasp they want to carry is over 100 times bigger than each of them in size and in weight.


3. They refused to be intimidated by the giant size of the task ahead of then


4. They fashioned out a way to carry it by dismembering it into smaller bits


It didn’t quite occur to me that I should film this event, I only remembered to when the very last group were moving the last part of the dismembered wasp.

Lagos State Police Command has arrested a 22-year-old woman identified as Adisa Funmilola who drowned her one-year-old baby in her apartment at Plot 22, Gowon Estate, Iyana Ipaja, Lagos, because the child prevented her from going to university to study law.

During interrogation, the suspect said that she decided to end the life of her baby because she was tired of taking care of her. She also blamed her action on frustration, saying her baby deprived her of actualising her dream of becoming a lawyer.

According to Adisa, one Folarin Yusuf impregnated her while they were both attending a Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, class at City of Success in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital. She said Folarin denied paternity, requesting that pregnancy be aborted.

The suspects were arrested on Monday, May 11, 2020 in Sokoto.

The bribe was allegedly offered in a desperate bid to compromise ongoing investigations of a construction company, China Zhonghao Nig. Ltd, handling contracts awarded by the Zamfara State Government in the sum of N50, 000,000,000.00(Fifty Billion Naira), between 2012 to 2019.

The zonal office of the Commission is investigating the construction company, in connection with the execution of contracts for the construction of township roads in Gummi, Bukkuyun, Anka and Nassarawa towns of Zamfara state; also, the construction of one hundred and sixty eight (168) solar-powered boreholes in the 14 local government areas of the state.

Alarmed by the consistency and professionalism of investigation being conducted, the company reached out to Lawal with an offer of N100,000,000( One Hundred Million Naira) as a bribe to “bury” the matter.

In a grand design to trap the corrupt officials, Lawal played along, and on Monday, two representatives of the company Meng Wei Kun and Xu Kuoi offered him cash totaling fifty million naira in their office along airport road, Sokoto. The cash was offered as first installment.

A native of Eleme in Rivers State has revealed how Governor Nyesom Wike action of demolishing Prudent hotels saved the people of Eleme from so many evils that would have come upon them.

Her name is Babra Laurilliard, she is over 60 years old, she reportedly died at a hotel with her alleged boyfriend in Okuokoko in Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State.

The deceased came into Nigeria on the invitation of her boyfriend who kept her in a hotel in Warri before transferring her to another hotel where she died, it was learned.

It was gathered that before the deceased’s death she coughed profusely and had difficulty in breathing and stooling.

She was rushed to an undisclosed hospital but her condition deteriorated just as she gave up the ghost.

Our reporter gathered from a reliable source that the white lady came to Nigeria since March, 2020 to visit her Yahoo Boy friend and she was lodged in a hotel in Osubi town until she fell sick recently.

“So to satisfy everyone, we decided to quarantine the boy and take blood sample of the corpse of the white lady for test”, he added.

When contacted for comments, the Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Mohammed Hafiz Inuwa confirmed the report in a telephone chat with Our Correspondent in Warri.

CP Inuwa said, “She’s a US Citizen. She came to Nigeria. She’s over 60years. She’s a friend to one of the Nigerian boys. She visited him in Nigeria. He kept her in a hotel in Warri before transferring her to that hotel around Orerokpe side.

“While they were together for about a week, the woman was coughing and having difficulty in breathing as well as having difficulty in stooling.

” So, they took her to the hospital yesterday where her condition became worse and eventually, she gave up. That her so-called boyfriend is now with the police in Orerokpe.”

While noting that he called the Commissioner for Health in Delta State to contact the NCDC given the symptoms the deceased gave before she died, CP Inuwa, however, warned Policemen to be very careful with the manner they deal with the said boyfriend so as not to fall victims and get infected with the dreaded Coronavirus.

I want to use this medium to advice everyone to be very careful about the buying and usage of these locally made face masks because of what I saw today.

I was in a bus where a passenger called a facemask seller. After asking for the price, he took one and put it on. He immediately told the seller that he want to make another choice. He finally paid for one after putting on about 5 different types.

I noticed it and told the man the implication of what he has just done and he became so sober. Even other passengers were looking fearful because what I said was true. Now, what if that man has the virus, he has succeeded in affecting those masks without knowing.

These infected masks will be bought by other innocent people. It is also possible that is how these nosemask hawkers allow buyers to first put it on before they buy. There is a high possibility the virus can be spread easily this way.

For those of us who patronize these local hawkers, let us be careful and vigilant; wash it with warm water before usage.

The Kaduna state Governor, Malam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufa’i, has again spoken about his traumatic experience while battling with Coronavirus, saying that he didn’t know how he got the disease that almost killed him.

El-Rufai, who spoke in a Hausa Radio programme on Wednesday said, he went through trauma, as he battled with debilitating headache while he addressed the state from isolation, adding that he could have died, if not for his doctors.

The governor noted that, he was the first to suffer from the virus in Kaduna state, and Allah knows why, “I could have died if not for my doctors. I followed their instructions strictly and took my medications. My wives collaborated with Dr Hadiza, the Deputy Governor and seized my phones while in isolation. I was only left with an iPad, the device I used to read and go online.

“I survived it, someone else may not, that is why we are very serious about the disease. I went through trauma, even when I spoke online from isolation, I was battling with a debilitating headache. I won’t like even my enemy to suffer from Coronavirus.

“I can’t exactly say how I contracted the Coronavirus. But I was in Abuja and had interacted with many people, some from overseas. I was assigned to chair committees by the government. I believe it was from these interactions that I got the virus,” he said.

While advising strict compliance with public health guidelines on prevention of the virus, governor el-Rufai said, “despite the security around me, I got the virus. This goes to show that the virus does not recognize any personality. Coronavirus was not a friend to anybody, and could strike where it was least expected”.

Speaking on why he returned to his clean shave looks, El-Rufai said, “I’m truly aging. I am few steps above 60 and this disease is not kind to the old. I am old. That is the danger. If one is above 50, one should be very careful not to contract the virus. To an aged person with other health complications like diabetes, hypertension, Coronavirus will be very deadly.”

“When I came out from isolation, I intended to leave my beard because it was the tradition of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, may the peace and blessings of Allah be with him. But as I visited my mother to greet her, she was against my new look. She asked me to shave. According to her, my father was not bearded during his lifetime. I had no option but to shave my beard because I want to live peacefully with my mother,” he said.

Commenting on the state’s Covid-19 Standing Committee headed by the deputy governor, el-Rufai said, “It is a good coincidence that we have Dr Hadiza as our Deputy Governor and Dr Baloni who was with UNICEF for over 20 years and knows much about public health. We are glad and lucky to have them, especially during this pandemic.”

He warned the public, particularly some recalcitrant traders in the state that government will deal decisively, with anyone who attempts to derail measures put in place to contain the spread of COVID-19.

“We’ve instructed the soldiers, the security agencies to deal with any troublemaker, no matter the status in society, wallahi,” he said.

From the response giving by the Health minister to a simple question asked him by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the minister of health did not even know if his ministry of health pays it's workers, 'hazard allowance' or not, for their extra work they are doing during this period of Coronavirus pandemic lockdown. That is, as being done all over the world in a situation such as Coronavirus pandemic emergency.

However, the Speaker who was visibly angered by the health minister show of ignorance and irresponsibility, told him straight in the face, that as the health minister, he should be able to know whether his guys (health workers under his ministry) are paid "hazard allowance" or not.

When pressed further, the health minister said, that his workers are doing their standard job and so the question of hazard allowance, according to him, does not arise. To that, the Speaker disagreed and reminded the health minister of what he, the minister had just said, "that the whole thing about Coronavirus is novel."

But the question is, 'How come it that what you (health minister), had just called novel virus pandemic, has now become a 'standard job for your health workers, who risk their lives everyday, and spend more energy and time now than before in their work, because of the novel Coronavirus pandemic?'

At this point, the health minister who looked more confused than ever, told the National Assembly leadership, that *what his health ministry workers are doing is nothing other than 'screening the temperature' of the people, and so they are not treating Coronavirus positive patients.*

Reports monitored by Efogator Media states that Governor David Nweze Umahi of Ebonyi State has asked local government officials to flog residents of the state who appear in public without wearing face mask.

Speaking at a stakeholders meeting on Wednesday, in Abakaliki, the state capital, Umahi said it is important for residents to use face masks to halt the spread of COVID-19 in the state.

Worthy of note is the fact that Ebonyi has not recorded any case of COVID-19.

“Let me warn again that no face mask in Ebonyi State, no public movement,” the governor said.

“If you don’t have a face mask and you are out, I am directing the local government chairmen to use their men to inflict the minimum compliance which is the cane – the cane.

“No face mask, you will attract cane, it doesn’t matter who you are. If you are a big man and you are coming outside and you do not have a face mask, you will face trouble and the law is very clear about that.

“We have also emphasised, in fact, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) has also warned that the order of blocking must be maintained.

“The police must block the first point of the border, the army must give a safe distance and then block, then the other security agencies will now block and then after that, it is now the neighbourhood watch.”

On Wednesday, Umahi had barred two journalists from covering state functions for “writing bad reports about the state”.

A member of the Rivers State Task Force enforcing lockdown measures to contain the spread of the coronavirus pandemic has killed an unidentified policewoman in the state.

According to reports, the taskforce member who killed the policewoman is a police officer attached to the taskforce.

The incident was said to have happened at Eneka Town, Obio-Akpo Local Government Area, at about 5pm.

Sources said the tragedy occurred when members of the taskforce arrived the area and began to destroy goods belonging to defiant street traders.

The new Commissioner of Police, Joseph Mukan, who confirmed the development, said the policeman attached to the taskforce misused his weapon.

He said: “A policeman attached to the taskforce did the shooting.

“He was shooting anyhow and in the process killed another policewoman. The policewoman was hit by a stray bullet”.

Mukan, who spoke at about 8:20pm, said the policeman was immediately arrested, disarmed and subjected to orderly room trial.

“As I am talking to you, the orderly room trial is ongoing. If we conclude it this night, we will arraign him tomorrow”, he said.

He insisted that there was no justification for the killing adding that the law must take its course.
