Nigeria has not seen the worst yet. Why are you all expecting us to be happy that someone (OBJ) is manipulating events in this country to his benefit - yet we speak ill of other previous leaders (as far as Independence) for the wrong decisions they took. Nigeria - I weep for you. Today corruption/manipulation/intimidation is now celebrated because OBJ is perpetrating it GEJ - God help us! |
Iran's hardline President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad provoked yet another controversy Thursday saying a majority of people in the United States and around the world believe the American government staged the Sept. 11 terror attacks in an attempt to assure Israel's survival. The provocative comments prompted the U.S. delegation to walk out of Ahmadinejad's U.N. speech, where he also blamed the U.S. as the power behind U.N. Security Council sanctions against Iran for its refusal to halt uranium enrichment, a technology that can be used as fuel for electricity generation or to build nuclear weapons. Delegations from all 27 European Union nations followed the Americans out along with representatives from Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Costa Rica, an EU diplomat said. Source |
Solomon227:Am no IBB supporter and care less of him. But if GEJ and supporters should do the same thing you hate IBB for doing, then both of you are the same. Tomorrow GEJ will be judged by what he did and didn't do today. If anybody is supporting him that kind of person does not deserve mercy because IBB is mercilessThis kind of rhetoric doesn't win you any support - Except you plan to rig it. 2007 was the worst election Nigeria ever had - I hope 2011 will be better. |
^^ If its pleasing to behold for you - not so with me (and to many others). If you like you can put it up as a wall picture. The article provide enough details about the incident that adding such close-up image is not required. The newspaper did the same. In some other developed societies, you won't see that. Not on CNN, BBC, Times or any of such respectable site. If you promote a better society for Nigeria, this form of barbaric display should be discouraged. (Tip: Those at Vanguard should have used a pic of the guy at Hospital, the compound or the guy who was arrested). Am not Mr. Perfect, just that this wrong. |
We keep hearing all the head of law enforcement agencies telling us how corrupt many are. But we can't see much they are doing about it. Question: If you are to be the Head of EFCC today, what are the first set of things you will do in the next 6months? |
Baba Fela (the legend) all the way! Why: Stood by the masses, had his free mind (which considered his fellow men favourablly) and was outspoken against injustice (something very lacking among many). He was much more humane than OBJ (the richest formal president, one of the Greatest African leaders alive, the DOD master-planner and Grand Commander Federal Republic of Nigeria). Fela beats him hands down.

OBJ 101 in practical mode. |
We Akin-Egba about one thing he will accept any deal to get our votes. But I don't think it will be carried-through. |
At some point, I keep believing she is incompetent. Why all these public parade. If you know criminals, arrest and prosecute them with the evidence you have. Or can we say that Madam don't know her job description? - Ok, I see, its for the poor ones. |
madejibo:No mind am. That what comes out if they run out of substance. Instead of considering what will fix the Nation, he will settle for slandering. Tell me who among the candidate do not have baggage? All we want them to do is state what they will for the Nation. |
OPPOSITIONS WILL ALWAYS LOOK FOR FLIMSY EXCUSES TO BRING YOU DOWN, GEJ YOU ARE FAR MORE ACCEPTED THAN SARAKI AND THE EVIL ONES
But as fans of GEJ we expect him and his team to hold his head high and tread the high grounds - since everything is working for him already. But rather we see Team GEJ playing even dirtier, disgusting and uncoordinated in response. It makes independents like us to keep reconsidering our stand - before we make the same mistake that has littered most of the years of our history. |
What a mind you have here. I wonder how you people sleep (what your dreams are)? I weep for my generation. |
I believe in the future, when judging how he single-handedly destroyed the choke-hold the Northerners have on Nigeria, history will judge Mr.Obasanjo superbly!
So suddenly all is now well because OBJ is in support of GEJ. Na wooo! When we all know he hand-picked Yar'Adua and GEJ, campaigned for them throughout the country and ensured they where inaugurated. But at other times, if other people use there position to twist events to their favour - we cry foul. Its like in Nigeria when we demand change, we invariably just want positions changed (get us and our interest closer) and not necessarily for thing to function as they should? |
That is what GEJ will look like at that age. |
When both of them sit to address Nigerians - this is what you get.
|
When you are the referee and participant do you need to fear these |
When I saw the headline, I was expecting official response from President JEGA's Campaign manager - but behold its the usual Dokubo/Mr Clak/Beaf category that come to the rescue. Uncle GEJ needs to take hold of his official response to issues - or journalists should be keeping in touch with his FB correspondent to the latest wall posts. |
Its called - Blatant copy, copy! |
idupaul:So who will repay the 100 vehicles? (Talkless of the lives). Or they were at the wrong place? W.W.West indeed. (Tip: Condemn evil anywhere you see it. Promote peace and justice. Not blind hypocrisy) |
Ndigbo needs to make their calculations properly, we are too big to have our prospects/chances truncated all the time. |
Solomon227:Or President JEGA - doing combination and permutation with Governors. |
Unfounded propaganda. Try again it won't still stick. Here are the Obamas going to church in DC 12th Sept 2010.

A government that keeps staggering and sweet-talking the masses is a very useless one. No clear agenda to fix Nigeria. Oh, he thought everyone will jump at it - and maybe check his Facebook before the examination is up! Keep fooling around. |
9ijaMan:President JEGA's supporters think they can dish it - but will not take it. Only in when it favours them. |
@ Solomon227: Why do you enjoy people being intimidated and cry foul when its directed towards you or your interest. Talk of hypocrisy. Its very shameful. |
@ Poem - I endorse this! 100% true. |
seanet02:If you ever consider President JEGA's supporters as a standard for his campaign, then its obvious this is set to be the highest arm-twisting election Nigeria is ever going to have. |
Its like Sanusi don't have more ideas. Someone should as him what was wrong with what Soludo said. Am glad Soludo is speaking up. Why is Sanusi not making more arrest and hijacking more banks? |
