There is no rule for this. Its just that most Nigerians will like to "belong", as a result even a store keeper will spend money buying this and place in his office. I know a friend who place the frame in this order: President | Himself | Governor

At some point that last year Alhaji Bello Masaba argued that he took better care of his family than men with a single wife and few children.

This man is must likely to hold this record for a very long time to come. cool

Politics › Federal Government May Continue With Ribadu’s Trial by egift(op): 5:06am On Apr 13, 2010
The Federal Government, on Monday, indicated that the nolle prosequi filed to stop the criminal trial of erstwhile chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission {EFCC}, Nuhu Ribadu, for alleged failure to declare his assets while in office may be withdrawn if the preponderance of public opinion was against it.

It also assured that there would be no sacred cow in the fight against corruption.

Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mohammed Bello Adoke SAN, made these known while fielding questions from journalists during his maiden visit to the commission’s headquarters on Monday.

When asked about the plan to stop Ribadu’s trial, the minister stated that no responsible government would ignore the popular view of its people, adding that the government was not unaware of the public reaction to the move, especially the criticism that trailed it.

On the purported plan to appoint Ribadu as an aide to the Acting President on anti-corruption crusade, the minister said that though the Nigerian leader reserved the right to work with anybody he chose, nobody had discussed such appointment with him and he was not aware any was in the pipe-line.

Adoke also assured the commission and its leadership of his full support, saying that he was delighted with the efforts of the Commission to eradicate corruption from Nigeria .

The interchanged flags is good and what it should be. Its an act of friendship.

PapaBrowne:
What are you seeing?

Ok maybe its the same thing I am seeing. Jonathan somewhat avoids eyes contact with Obama. I think thats just the Camera.

But he looks quite presidential. He is obviously doesn't have an imposing clout like OBJ, but for a first time visit this is good,

All the same, great great great pictures!! A boost to Jonathan and a boost for Nigeria!
This is a great step and another "goodluck" for him.

Amazing

look at what egift wrote after my comment

"I have waited for this, thanks for pointing it out. I did not give credit on my site for the theme - Why?"

If no one mentioned it, so he/she would not say anything about that. why wait?

Well. you do what you wish to do. That is your cup of tea actually none of my business.
@ Incarnate:
Sorry if that first comment made you angry. The fact is that - in all my stay in this webmaster section - you need to see how peoples hard-work are being abused in the name of site review. Little wonder nobody is posting a site for review.

Most persons think that if you don't hand code from scratch - you are nobody. Its not true. If you have a project that require coding you can. But in this age of Web 2.0+, the web platform is like a container - simply get details of what you want - select a platform, pour it in, re-brand, test, test and test.

Once again, I apologize for sounding harsh - Incarnate.
Webmasters › Re: Presenting - The Best Nigerian Blog by egift(op): 11:37pm On Apr 06, 2010
My aim for this and other previous posts on this thread is that we can do exceptionally well if we decide. I usually feel bad when our Newspapers, hotels, schools, Exam bodies, etc - put up sites that isn't wort it.

Additionally, we should start thinking a lot about local content sites - for our communities. It will go a long way to project us better. Everything is not money (when you thing right - money will naturally come).

I challenge you to do perhaps one this year. cool

@egift,

Why? why didnt you give credit to the person that made the theme for the wordpress, at least you stated it was wordpress what about the person that created the theme you used

http://www.arrastheme.com/

That is the theme you used, it is not yours so give credit where credit is due. And dont claim you have the most beautiful site. it is not your work, so you cant claim it is yours

Give credit to whom credit is due.
I have waited for this, thanks for pointing it out. I did not give credit on my site for the theme - Why?

Its simple, once you have meet up the financial requirements for the theme, you are free to have the reciprocal off. (So next time try paying/donating and not just free for a link) grin

Like every other WP (including other open source platforms - like Joomla, etc) its all theme based. Remember in my first post I stated its a WP-based site (better still a blog). Don't feel pain when its clear http://www. is cool - am sure its the best WP customized Nigerian content based site you have seen. Do you think otherwise?

All of these including the writer is all propaganda.

Just to give you the idea of the schemeing by Turai (since it is very clear that yar a'dua is not in control), why did they bring Yar a'dua to Nigeria in the middle of the Night (2 am) without speaking to the AG President?

There are too many unanswered questions, including what was quoted that Yar A'dua spoke with Goodluck 'treat the country like is your personal property', really from a graduate President, offc ourse that is how they have been treating Nigerians up on to this time.

Yar A'dua should have been impeached long time ago for either incapacity or incompetence. HE STILL HASN'T SPOKEN TO NIGERIANS SINCE HIS ARRIVAL DESPITE THE FACT WE WERE TOLD THAT HE IS NOW FIT. LIARS LIARS LIARS LOOKING FOR SYMPATHY.
True my dear. People just seat around some bottles and fabricates rubbish. And if the arrest someone now they will cry foul.

Nigeria will not fail. As a nation we have a destiny, we have in impacted much in the world yet. We still have a lot to do. So no need to hurry.

We have the capacity to be the best in the world. Once we get leadership right - every other thing will fall in line.

The other week I visited a friend of mine running a Cyber Cafe, I have to assist one of the customers with some INEC registration - I was having difficulties recognizing some name of the Political parties. Some am not sure the exist in all states of the Federation.

How these silent parties expect to with the presidency? Therefore I will like to ask how many political parties we should have in Nigeria?
