Tahir Hassan Zakari - rest in peace - We at www. mourm with the families, well wishers and indeed all Nigerians. Is this what an Independence Day should have been? http:///m/photos/browse/album/Nigeria-At-50/owner/admin&per_page=50 May God help us. |
BB absence from such a grandstanding and momentous occassion knowing he was an ex-president for good 8 years, not 8 days, speaks volumes, even Shonekan who was there for less than 3 months was there.Did President JEGA consider that when he compiled the list of those he chose to honour? How about the bags of rice and anniversary cake? (world largest cake my foot ) Am sure you had your share.Believe me when I tell you that - no report will be presented on how they spent the N17 Billion. |
Anything that will help buy the votes. |
mens dept:Why the hate? Someone just made a wish - either you support or not - I don't see how all the insults comes in. |
Sanusi wants his signature on it by all means. He is jealous of Soludo - so this is an opportunity. By the way, since this is for just this event, next year is it going to be archived? Pathetic waste. This money could have fix something more tangible. |
Keep bending history - as it suits. |
Lamido Sanusi is doing this to get his signature on the N50 Note |
If you are in charge as Governor of Abia State, what are the immediate steps to fix the problems in Abia (especially Aba)? |
Bending the truth when its comfortable. OBJ enjoyed zoning (it was ok), His Tool (Umaru) did - it was ok and his Boy (GEJ) did and it was just fine. And when the South East is in waiting to enjoy same, OBJ just discover it was illegal/unconstitutional, wow! And to insult Nigerians the more, he blame out Founding Fathers! OBJ we all can see through it - well except for those who will profit today - for changing the Goal Post. |
“The SAT-3 is a NITEL installation; we have seen that the federal government only listens to militancy and violence. That is why we are going to shut down SAT-3 that would make them pay us. As we saw, the workers of Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) did that just recently. They shut down their stations for just two days and the government hurried to paid them.” Mr Ndubuisi said the shutdown of SAT-3 would attract government’s attention and force it to pay their arrears immediately.Nigeria: One week - one trouble. |
The level of intimidation for opponents is becoming very alarming. |
Nigeria is always taking the wrong turn. |
@ Beaf Don't worry we know he have gotten it - this is stage-managing. Or is he appearing in court today? |
Who will annul it? GEJ? - Hope you are not saying he is the same as IBB? (Sometime I think you GEJ supporters on Nairaland are more of a weight to him than promoters). |
With all the development, events and preparations do you believe 2011 General Elections will be Free and Fair at all levels? Updated: I have included a poll above, remember to add your opinion. |
And as we all expected, you did not have anything to list for the one you have been littering Nairaland to promote - other than these comics ![]() |
Beaf, IBB is far more handsome than President JEGA - see for yourself
|
This Administration is worst than any other tenure Nigeria ever had. After the elections, those who refused to be forced into this gang will be humiliated/intimated/sent into exile/locked up/punished/disgraced. Just when we will think there is hope for Nigeria - what we get is the failed third term with vengeance/democratized militancy. |
Blackberry has announced Playbook a rival to Apple's Ipad See details |
I have stated this before, this Administration is worst that any other tenure Nigeria ever had. @ All: And what will happen if Jonathan looses? |

But frankly (Akinkunmi's case inclusive), Nigeria have little regard for anything past - even when his work have contributed to National unity. All that most Nigerians care about is Today, Today - Today! That's why corruption is not going anytime soon. They will keep stealing all they can - because your sacrifice today will be forgotten before tomorrow comes. |
To many corruption remains one of the reason Nigeria is still at this pathetic condition. Even when we have more money, we get less growth. If re-elected, what are the indications that President Jonathan can fight corruption? |
^^ See desperation. What mess? Maybe Sanusi's Economic Panic campaign is your standard for being a good CBN? We have gone through this blow by blow. Sanusi is dumb compared to Soludo. And how is stocks, banks, investments, external and national reserve doing again? I guess he is still trying to grow them to what me met in office. ![]() Don't be jealous, if you have evidence he stole, show us - if not, swallow that trash you vomited above. |
(PS: Beaf keep off - I prefer to know what other have to say than yours) |
I was wondering what will happen if Beaf (of Nairaland) was to become the President and C-In-C of Nigeria. What will be he likely events of his presidency? |
PeeDaVinci:Obama - discussed issues, suggesting solutions, inviting others (especially neighbours of Israel and Palestine) to do all they can to bring about two state solution living in peace and assisting Palestinians to build their own country Ahmedinejad - discussed rumors, conspiracy of America against itself, and other childish talks that no Arab delegates could monster support to. |
@ Aisha: What he said I agree with. Me am a bit skeptical with politics, especially that of Nigeria. you have to be in a house to sweep it clean, even if you cannot sweep the house clean you can keep your corner clean. For the above line, I hope many of us that want change will consider your advice. Thanks. Do keep up the good work. |
chyz:All those things he was spewing was it all the most pressing issues facing Iran in the International community? He is lucky he is here on a UN umbrella if not he will have to be escorted. |
So he accepts. |
He may as well be working to split the Northern votes. Pure politics. I agree with him - its an issue of capacity to deliver. All the candidates (including him) should tell us what they plan to do for Nigeria. |
