BusinessRe: Internet Scams by egoldman(m): 11:02pm On Dec 04, 2006
here is my little input on this :
1, if a site has mostly or only email id as their means of contact, then its not good enough ,they might be trying to hide something .
2,if they don't have a verifiable contact address ,that too is not a good sign either ,and even when they have one u should try to get someone in that country and ask them to visit them or call them ,you may also check their contact address and numbers with the local registry and see if its there or not .
3,are they member of any well known organization or body that deals in their area of their specialization, for example if they are in e-currency categories ,are they a member of GDCA ?
4,what about the design of their website ,is it poor do they use free web page ,do they use free web mail and not an email that comes with their domain name ?example :admin@yahoo.com undecided a company that is serious should have all this .
5,try to see how seriously they pay for advertising their site ,its always the case that a site that pays well for advertisement are serious people ,if not why pay so big for adverts?
6,if they keep continually changing the terms of their site especially when it relates to payments of your dues then its red flag,a good and honest always have done their homework even b4 they launch their site in the first place.
7,how quickly do they update the members about their site and whats going on,if they are poor in this area its always cos all they care is what they get from you and not what quality of service they give to you .
8,do they have their own forum ? do they ban people their cos they post what the admin doesn't like ,when people post that they are not paid ,how are they treated ,do they ban them or take care of the problem, especially when it relates to non payment of dues or earnings ?
9,do they have higher offers than most other sites ,there this saying that if its too good to be true then it is,be careful out there .
i could go on and on ,however one fact must be made clear here ,the best place to put Ur money and it would be safe and earn u small interests is in Ur local bank ,online stuff are generally risky and you should not put in more than you can afford to lose ,the best you could do with the above lists is to minimize your risks and make some profits .

blacknbold:
any info
what kind of account do u want to open with zenith bank ? if its savings account i think its easy ,i have a friend here (india) that wants to open account with zenith bank in nigeria, his brother has gone to the bank and they need was for him to fill the forms ,sign them and send or fax them to zenith bank and they will do the rest ,
but as is said this is for savings account ,i also do not think that individual current account might be that hard to open from outside nigeria,if u have a relation that u trust they can open a joint account for both of you .
anyway here is a link to savings account form of zenith bank http://www.zenithbank.com/savings%20account%20form.pdf

drogba just scored 8 goals and the league is not yet ended ,he has never won any real individual awards in the premiership ,henry has won many and yet drogba is talking this crap, who knows what he would have said if he had dominated the english league as henry did ,the guy has same problem with his mrijuana smoking manager (their mouth ) angry angry angry angry
BusinessRe: Nigeria Scams ‘cost Uk Billions’ by egoldman(m): 3:20am On Nov 27, 2006
sometimes i cant believe that white people despite all their sophistication and intelligence would be failling for this childish stuff ,
but apart from this the victims are mostly greedy and corrupt lots,if not ,tell me why someone would want to help a so called government official or someone to move money from his country ,the fact that person doesn't want to use his name to move the money shows its illegal money ,yet oyibo people want to help them move those money cos they are promised some part of it ,they don't care weather the money is stolen from our government or not ,they just want to help the criminals and get their share ,but when they get burned from such greedy and criminal conspiracies then they shout 419,damn them ,they are just as same as the scammer ,its just that the scammer is smarter than them and played with their greedy and corrupt minds ,i have no single pity for them cos they have no pity for Nigerian people ,if they do they would not in the first place try to help someone who stole from nnpc ,Central bank and other tricky institutions that the scammers use to nab them .
a good citizen if he wants to be good should first report such biz deal to the right department in the UK or wherever and they would advice them if the deal is genuine or not ,but no they don't cos they by themselves that its not ,when 419ners say they have money they stole from nnpc or they are the son of late general sanni abacha and all this greedy mugus them still want to work with them ,then they deserve what they get ,
as i as any right thinking person could see ,UK and other western government fight against fraud from 419ners is nothing but one sided ,they still don't see that itstwo way problem ,as far there is demand (the greedy and corrupt mugus ) there there will be temptation to supply them .
most oyibo people don't say exactly the whole details of the transaction they had with the 419ers,they tell only the side that would presently them as innocent, and them government buy it just like that .
bring any westerner that have fallen for this kind of scams and let me interview him or her and i will tell u that at one time in such deal he must have know that so called money involved is stolen money from Africa and they still would want to help the scammers ,this should be punished by the Western governments .

BusinessRe: Means Of Purchasing Items On Ebay? by egoldman(m): 10:01pm On Nov 24, 2006
lagoshost:
Well, buying from ebay might be hard from Nigeria, but remember that everything is possible!

I have not gone to USA or any other country that paypal accepts but from here in Nigeria I opened a USA base bank account, a Visa ATM Card was provided for me to access my account and I was able to verify my paypal account.

My Pastor use to say that the difference between a poor man and a rich man is the level of information that they have. Maybe I have got the information.

Everything is possible my DEAR!
lagoshost ,
though u may not agree with me ,but i must warn u that the only reason u are still able to use ur paypal account from nigeria is cos theyt havce not yet come to or detected your account ,if u think u have proxy that copuld hide ur real location ,u are joking cos paypal have the state of teh art software that would crack that proxy and still tell them where ur location is ,
i have heard people on this forum say that paypal have frozen their account cos they logged in from nigeria ,remember they have over 50 million users ,the fact is just that they have not detected ur account ,once they did ur find it almost impossible to get ur money back ,am telling u this from experience ,its much better for u to withdraw all ur money in ur paypal account now .

my id number in goldkobo is 53,yeah am one of them early members ,but that didn't spay me from them scamming ,i have also challenged nairaex on this forum earlier to refute my claims and he didn't reply ,once niara ex and goldkobo denies what i say here then i will show u guys why u must stay away from them ,
yeah i repeat it again ,my account id with goldkobo is 53 ,they know me and they know that i know that they are scammers .
BusinessRe: Please Help: Investment ! by egoldman(m): 9:08am On Nov 19, 2006
alinco ,i have been investing in online ventures for almost 5 years now and i will tell you right here and now that there are several red flags about this site,

1,mobile phones are there way of communicating with u ,this is not good at all ,the last i heard was that u could be issued a line in Nigeria with no address or identity prove.
2,i see they have not physical address ,no street number ,just p.o box in ibadan ,no i think they are hiding who they are and that is not a good sign .
3,check on their account opening form and you would see that they want you to provide all the private informations which they have failed to provide on their site about themselves, well if they don't provide it ,then they should not ask it from you.
4,do u know that one needs license from the government to offer securities which am sure this people don't have? if they do they should have given their registration numbers and that would boost their prestige .
5,if anyone here have been in hyips some time ,they would see that the FAQ of the site is identical to the ones u would see in other hyips online,so i would feel that they are copying from others .
6,Very very poor and unprofessional website design angry

just ask your self this ,if something should go wrong ,how could you or the cops trace this people ? believe there is no way to do that because they leave no trace on their site .

in summary i suggest you don't risk your money with them

i just got home now and saw this updates,i will make some research and will get back with whatever help i can ,be sure of one thing, its not always that easy to deal with paypal when u log in from another country that says something else with ur location ,if they have not seen u yet ,it means they have not come to your account yet ,anyways as is said i will be back later with whatever i can find out ,see you guys soon .

i have a question here ,i have paypal account registered with my address here in India,i also know that pay doesn't have Nigeria in their list of accepted countries ,so those of you that have paypal account in Nigeria ,did u register ur account right there in Nigerian with Nigerian address or somewhere else?
and if you have registered with another country address ,i suggest you clear whatever fund you have in ur account cos paypal have ip detector that would still show u registered from Nigeria those you might have given another country address and thy would froze your account at once and you would lose ur money.i think u are still able to use ur account simply cos they have not gotten to it yet .
and don't even try to use proxy with them ,they have state of the art software that would crack it and still say where u are ,am talking from experience .

sbucareer:
I have finally arrived at a topic that could allow me to challenge the people of Nigeria and it governance. I know this topic is about couple of months old but I particularly hope that readers are still able to read comments added or the system has a way to send added comments to their members that participate on this topic.

First of all let be candid and courageous. Is Nigeria ever going to change for better? The best post I read was from Seun, I must admit he enumerated the tasks Nigeria and Nigerian perhaps have to undergo. The first one was “let concentrate on leadership”, well he said it all. What is leadership? And who make leaders? And what constitutes a leadership. Well if you ask me a lot and Nigerians is not taking that emphasis very seriously. We put any person in that post and we expect better of them. If you apply for a managerial position the requirements for that post must be meet with relevant experience, but in Nigeria any cowboy comes and rule us. People that is not even fit to be your friends and yet we allow them to rule us.

Let look at great world i.e Europe America china and the rest, they have all fought and die for their country and massive upraise from unsatisfied citizens. Nigeria CANNOT kill and imprison everybody if we stand up and fight for our good Nigeria. South African has done it and Britain has done it “The Battle of Banswick” etc.

We lack management and leadership, after the G7 submit 2005 in the UK, we were directed to a www.bbc.co.uk/ to leave feedback on the decision to cancel third world debt and Nigeria was jubilating and an unknown source said that Nigeria should be ashamed of herself that she should be the one cancelling debts for other countries. I came to realise that America owes $3.2 Trillion and is not complaining, don’t misunderstand me, I know it is all politics but the truth is that we lack the professional entity to guide us but we are prepare to elect criminals to lead us and tomorrow we start to morn.

Now let digress to social and economic, Nigeria do not represent its diverse culture in the house of Assembly, Rep and Senate. This is another important issue. As Nigerian we need to represent all states if we are really practising democracy. The entire National infrastructure is either at Lagos or Abuja, why? If any one knows about strategic planning in term of conflict, which will come when we decide to wake up from sleep. Other countries will like to challenge our ways of life. If at that time we have our entire infrastructure at on place, to disable us will be easy pee zeey. Why do a particular tribe dominates the federal post.

If we can amend and plan our country well in terms of infrastructure and political tertiary, then global business opportunity will become a necessity. Like one of my white friend said, that Africa is a sleeping giant particularly Nigeria and South Africa. I did not take his words because I know I will be dead by then.

The major fad a government has to do is to make everybody in its constituents accountable for their actions, even the office of the presidency. We need to know how much they earn, businesses they have before joining the office and we SHOULD have a public enquiry in all aspect of our daily life, particularly in public post. And for gods sake we should site down (top lawyers) and rewrite or amend the laws. We do not need Colonial laws it does not help us we need to make our laws and we need a very solid ways to create punishment for offenders and rehabilitation i.e. look at China program and strategic plan. I remember very well the world condemned China and called them barbaric, now they are the envy of the whole world. If a policy work why not use it and discard it if it does not.

Finally, if Nigerian becomes a better place to live and work and a good government policy and favourable conditions, believe me technology is second to Nigerian. I remember when we were growing up, my dad usually buys news paper on his way to pick us up try school at 1:30pm, which is around how his brake time. The newspaper is left behind whilst he return to work. I read a man (Ibo) built a helicopter what did Nigeria government did for him? I also learn that an Ibo man again actually a PhD lecturer have developed a full complete Africa car prototype and Nigerian is not helping him with funds and South Africa president is keen on acquiring the prototype. An Ibo man in America was the first guy to research and introduce what is know today as super computer. He is a Mathematician and a brilliant mind. I know there are other Nigerians like all these people. But there are all scattered around the world for economic migration and have produce tow to three generations in their respective settlements. But we can change that and we can challenge the world economy.

Mind you fraud stars to me are brilliant minds in a wrong profession. If these minds are put into proper use the reword is enormous, and this is what we need to focus. I will say this. Technology only comes from a stable mind and one should be thankful to have come from a stable country.
lots of points in ur post my friend grin grin
