what would you do if you get to know that your son who had done very well in the school and have gone up to become a graduate had actually cheated during his exams,would you go and report him to the exam board ?
@mrs sundaqueen,every damn single penny that he gives you ,u must save because drug dealing doesn't last for long ,sooner or later he would be caught or something would happen that makes the money not to come like it use to .
about telling his family , you don't need to call a family meeting ,but there are surely some matured and respected members of that family ,like his dad (never tell his mom,women emotions can't be trusted ) or do u have any of his brother that u know is also matured enough ?
dealing in drugs doesn't mean he should be abandoned ,no one in this life enjoys doing evil things except they have some mental problems,do u have a pastor that you can trust to pray with you and still keep things confidential ,i had actually been in a church that one of the sisters faced same problem like you and it was solved,not easy but it was solved and the best thing is that it was not known by many and her husband came out of it .
this is like someone that smoke cocaine,how on earth do u think that a right thinking human being would smoke what he is church that it could kill him ? so you see something is wrong somewhere ,what is at play here is the demon that is behind the love of money and when it gets hold of someone they would do what they would not have liked to do if they were in their normal senses.
back to mamaput ,if your brother or husband because of the love of money should engage in armed robbery and was caught (God forbid) would you desert him and hope that he killed or would you desire that he is saved and would have some sort of miracle in his life that would make him to stop life of robbery ?do we not have vibrant preachers today in Nigeria and else where who were former drug users and pusher ? how are us sure that this case is hopeless and that the best option for mrs sundaqueen is to abandon her husband ?

Do you know even if a company performs extra-ordinarily without much demand on its shares at the secondary market, it won't make any difference in price margin (price appreciation). This because price movement is determined by the forces of supply and demand.

Am a novice when it comes to stock trading ,but let me ask,is it realy possible that while a company is doing well,posting good revenue and showing other positve signs for the future,
would such a company not always attract people to desire to own it shares ?i ask this with regards to the above quote ,thank you .

i have been to cashcraft website and it looks quite pro ,i have emailed them and two of them people have replied me too and gave me their numbers ,i have been talking to one of them and have also sent some details for them to open an account for me with CSCS ,so far i would say they ok though am just a just6 a novice in stock trading
one of them brokers told me i could start from 50,000 naira upwards ,another says i could start from even 10,000 naira ,if you would like to have their contacts ,i would be glad to send them to you .

Even if tinubu's action is based on political considerations ,it is still a good thing ,in the long run such moves would help to reduce tribal problem in our country ,i still support this action politics or not .

I suggest you forget this issue ,the point is quite clear for any reasonable person to see here ,OBJ and Atiku are not the issue here ,but it seems like the person that started this topic have preferred rather to be narrow minded and not seeing any reasonable points for reasons best know yo him or her ,so best thing to do now is to leave the case as it is ,trying to prove what we all know would take us no where with this thread .

No they didn't do anything because they were not invited to dictate if an election result would stand or not ,they don't come to impose any result or candidate to us ,they only come just like the UN or any other reputable body to report about the fairness of the election ,their reports are not in anyway binding on Nigeria .
So i still do not see how America or any other reputable body coming to observe our election can be seen as meddling in our internal affairs .
Mind you in my first post on this thread ,i said that OBJ and Atiku are both thieves,so am not trying to say Atiku is right or wrong to invite the USA to come and observe our election,all am saying is that USA coming to observe our election is not in anyway meddling in our affairs ,rather its a good thing because the government would not like outside bodies to report that the election is not free and fair .

inviting america and the un with the european union to observe our election doesnt mean that we are not the one incharge ,its all in the spirit of openess ,and by the way they have been practicing election system for very long time unlike us,so its only natural that we invite them to observe own young democracy .
when a country like nigeria with the current political situation says it doesnt want anyone to come and see how our election is conducted ,then it means we have something to hide .

Ok guys ,i have been reading and researching quite a lot about stocks and Nigerians stocks in particular .I have 150,000 naira to try it out with, 50,000 i plan to invest for the long term and 100,000 i plan to invest for the short term.
so here is how i plan to go about this; 50,000 i would use to buy transcorp shares ,this should be for the long term as i do feel the company would be goldmine in few years to come.
now for short term ,i understand that buying from the secondary market means that i should get the certificates in few days time (i could be wrong ) as there are old time stockowners that have the certificates before the IPOs ,so this would enable me to easily sell them on the niger stock exchange when i feel the value have appreciated enough,then i would buy again from secondary market,sell as the value appreciates and so on and so forth .
so now with my remaining 100.000 i would invest 50,000 in dunlop,which sells for 4.16 naira as of today as i think the company future prospects are good especially cos of their lastest All Steel Radial Tyre (ASRT) factory.
My remaining 50,000 would go to zenith bank , having researched their company from several sources ,even outside Nigeria ,i have seen that they have so much respect and have been awarded quite some awards for their efforts,i have also been following their income for quite sometime now and their innovation in the banking sector in Nigeria,there are even more reasons why i like zenith bank
this is how i plan to give the Nigerian stock market a try with my little 150,000 naira.i would like some to give their opinion if my plan is good or not

The fact that they have contact numbers (both landline and mobile ) is a good sign ,am not saying they are genuine yet,but there are some signs that they could be serious .
first of all they have a well programmed site,good programmers must have worked on that site and am sure such don't come that cheap ,
then they have given an address that can easily be verified if they exist or not ,if they don't have them office why then would they give the address,however its still much safer that someone should go there and see things for himself and then report back to the forum here .
i suggest if one could get pictures of their office building and also some pics of the management personel ,if they would refuse to allow this ,then its fishy ,
in summary what they have presented so far looks good ,but more checks are still needed ,i don't live in Lagos ,i would be happy to pay them visit,

they should be accepted ,debit cards unlike credit cards have stored value ( that is money already in your bank account) so u cant spend more than that and that means the the merchants that accept it in nigeria hardly would face any risk ,as the money would be taken from ur bank account and paid to theirs,
however i dont know if this is the case when u use such cards outside nigeria like in the western world,this people tend to fear any type of card that was issued in nigeria be it debit or credit card .

if u would like an international debit card that is attached to a us bank acount ,then go for www.virtualmoneyinc.com,i live in india and have not yet heard that they dont accept members from nigeria,
