Thanks for the warning mate, its not new to me though, but i know that there are some that are seeing this format for the first time, so its still important warning . |
We want to live in peace with each other , but surely there is a limit to what we can endure , enough is enough , if they don't stop i suggest we hit them back, the line must be drawn somewhere with this barbarians . |

Be very careful b4 you spend your money on such phone, read the details below ; [b]Apple iPhone warning proves true The iPhone Users may not be able to add Apple features to an unlocked phone An Apple software update is disabling iPhones that have been unlocked by owners who wanted to choose which mobile network to use. Earlier this week Apple said a planned update would leave the device "permanently inoperable". Thousands of iPhone owners hacked their expensive gadget in order to unlock it for use with other mobile carriers and to run a host of unsupported programs. There are also reports of the update causing issues with unaltered iPhones. On Monday Apple issued a statement in which it said many of the unauthorised iPhone unlocking programs caused "irreparable damage" to the device's software. The company said this would "likely result in the modified iPhone becoming permanently inoperable when a future Apple-supplied iPhone software update is installed". That warning has now proved correct as many owners are reporting their phones no longer work following installation of the update. Apple requires iPhone owners to take out a lengthy contract with AT&T in the United States but there are a number of programs on the net that unlock the device for use with other networks. Some owners are reporting on technology blogs and Apple's own forums that the update is deleting contacts information, as well as photos and music, on iPhones that have not been modified in any way. GrowPlus:So na you de knack me spam left and right with this crap of investment site abi ? i be like say u dey use email grabber on this forum , better stop that kia kia ![]() |
easimoni:Would never forget the abuses i got on that thread for saying me opinion, one went as far as abusing me granny , though he later apologized , God help them sha and sorry for the digression ![]() |
Stupid thread and by the way Oga seun i think there is something we can do about our government stealing our money , the question is this , do we have the will to do it ? |
To just leave the job and go is not enough , if you go the man would still find another girl until he got what he wants , so what you should do is to use what he wants to trap him him and stop him from his immoral desires . why don't you go to some women right organizations, i can help to look for one for you and also get some investigative journalists, preferably women too and set the guy up. they wiretap you with stuff that would record whatever conversation that you have with him up to where he wants the "action" to take place , be it in a hotel or his house, when you are sure that enough info and evidence have been gathered against him , u can then tell him to go to hell with his stupid desires. Now with the evidence you have against him and the journalists involved there is no way the man would not be arrested and prosecuted, and be jailed b4 being deported back to his country cos am sure he would lose his job . |
Seun:This has nutting to do with privatization . |
Did SEC extend the offer of Union D ? I see people are still talking about filling and sending in the forms . |
The lawmakers are probably treating a reasonable concern the wrong way , the banks coming to the market should not be the problem , but the time it takes for investors to get the damn certificates is not right, the cbn verification system needs to be reviewed to make things move faster. I do think there is some mago mago about that certs delay, maybe this is what the lawmakers are concerned about . |
If anyone of you guys is a frequent poster on the "scam-prone business" section , they would remember my name very well , i did try my best to warn people that these wonder banks are nothing but scams, i got called all sort of names and abuse. i will qote below one of the guys that kept abusing me for being against the wonder banks ; @Egoldman, Av always said there's nothing intelligent in your posting, Read it very well or better still getn for you to get back your money, yeah this is crude assessment , but i have been down this a 4yr old to explain the content for u, does it appear as if they scammed investors or the govt is frustrating them out of business, Remind me of your warnings, ? You still there in a poverty ridden country and try to tell us in NIgeria that u know more than us, I think you're a failure thats why u cld leave your country for India and start posting nonsense just because u don't av money to invest in these schemes, You R JUST TO DUMB TO MAKE ANY SENSE IN UR POSTING now observe the words in bold red, they say the government is the one thats frustrating the wonder banks ,that they are not scamming anyone. This was because the government was trying to come in and stop this wonder banks ans save people from losing their money , they say the government was wrong to come in , they all cried that jim ovie and tony elumelu were trying to keep the rest of Nigerians poor and that efcc is being used to suppress the masses and stop them from getting rich. so the government backed down and their bank accounts were unfrozen , and things looked to be smooth for them wonder banks and their investors , now when chicken come to roast and the payments stopped coming , they turn around and say the government should have stopped the wonder banks from duping them , what nonsense ? the clear reality here is that Nigerians would never accept that they have wronged and their greedy, stupidity and laziness have gotten the better of them . i know people though i don't feel like calling their names here that have encouraged and i mean really encouraged many to invest in these scams, they post every day on nairaland how much millions they have made and kept making , since the bubble started to burst , i am yet to here from anyone of them anymore, i am actually beginning to think that some of them might actually be among the perpetrators of these scams and have used nairaland to lure in greedy investors. ofcos i feel sorry for those that lost their money , but that does not mean that its wrong to tell someone that his greed , stupidity and laziness have gotten the better of him . for those that have money invested in this schemes, though you wont like to hear this ,but the fact is that its easier for the camel to pass through the eye of a nidle than for you to get back your money, yeah i have been through this road b4, for about good four years , so am talking from experience ,my name is not egoldman for nuttin ![]() |
Otunbakunl:I actualy asked this question for my self , as i already have my broker and also have online access to my account on their website , i also have cscs account through them , so i asked this question just to be on the more of a safe side, for now , there has been no reason to think other wise with my broker , but i would still like to have the damn contract notes , so i would be asking them for it , thanks . |
Must one still request contract note even when he has cscs account and also have online access to his account via his brokerage firm ? |
Sunboy, send me your email id, i have someone in cashcraft that would deal with you even if you have only 50,000 naira . |
Its 10.55 am here and still too early in Nigeria , i will be calling my cashcraft broker later in about three hours from now and will update you guys on what she says, i have already sent the scanned copy of the form (Union D offer ) that i filled on Friday night , so i guess she would see them this morning . |
If you dont need that 500,000 k for about 2 years, i suggest you pump it all into Union D ,you have 90% chance of becoming a millionaire with it . |
For those of us who are based outside Nigeria , my broker is from cashcraft , so i called her up last night and asked how i should go about buying the Unione D offer as am not based in Nigeria and she asked to wait so she could ask from her senior co0s she was in their ikoyi head office when i called , after a minute she came back online to say i can print the form , sign it and scan it to them . Then i asked how i should go about the payment , she said there two ways, either she gives my family ( they handle my payment to cashcraft) cashcraft bank account or they can go to any intercontinental bank and pay for the my offer . Now i asked her what about some kind of receipt, that their should be some kind of document to be issued to my people after the payment, she said there is none there is none , that it would be updated to my online brokerage account with cashcraft , this is the part that i am slightly concerned as i would like to have some receipt acknowledging that i paid for the offer . I then asked her what about others who want to buy the offer but are not cashcraft clients, you sure have to issue them some receipt as they are not having online account with cashcraft, she said they would create an online account with cashcraft for anyone that buys the offer , so i would like to know for those that have bought this offer , did you have to register an account with cashcraft for you to be able to buy it ? or those this affect only those that want to buy from cashcraft directly like in my case ? I have printed , filled , scanned and emailed the form to my cashcraft broker , am sure i will be getting reply from them on monday and i will let you guys know what they say , but so far i think its pretty easy to buy the offer even if you are based outside the country . |
Mr Frank how you dey ? long time old pal ![]() |

Does anyone have the website link of Union Diagnostic ? |
There are many 419 people on Nairaland these days, one of them wanted to try his stuff with me, i will soon post his details here . |
nossycheek:I have same problem with you and i dont know who to blame , my brokers or cscs , its been about three months now and they are yet to change to my new address in lagos ![]() |
The potential for this company to be great is not doubt , yeah they have lots of debt to contend with , but don't forget that they have renegotiated with their bankers to stretch there loans for the longer term , so this might give them some space to make some profits for the company . i will be watching developments carefully, and i think that new guy at the head there , that tom he seems to know what he is doing and from what i have read about his profile , he seems to be the right man for the transcorp job . |
palemoon:The above response is correct , though i would prefer to have my own cscs account .i also would like to say that i like this thread and the way the brokers are advertising their services without any argument , keep it up . |
sources please . |
I was informed that Soludo would be resigning in about 48hrs , i dont know how true this is , but am trying to see if i can get a link to such news online .I would not really blame the man if he decides to go, though it would surely send very wrong signals to the outside world and the foreign investors . |
Ofcos he does have the interest of the nation at heart, but having been humiliated this way, it now depends on his kind of person for him to remain , he might feel he has lost confidence of the president and would want to leave or he might decide to fight on , sooner or later we would see where he stands . |
Personally i think the policy was not bad, but assuming that it is , the president and his AG have not handled things the best way, wrong signals have been sent to the rest of the world especially the foreign investors . i will not be surprised if soludo resigns . |
