Business / Re: Is CBN Hoarding The Lesser Bills In The Economy? by eguityjustice(m): 6:38pm On Dec 25, 2013
codebrew85: I don't know if anyone had observed it, there seems to be no change in the market. Whenever you tender a 500 or 1000 naira bill to a seller, the next thing you would hear is, 'oga no change o'. You'll later end up not buying the stuffs you intended buying because, there's no change. As funny as this may sound, it's very frustrating and annoying. Could this be a general thing or just peculiar to lagos alone? Or could it be that CBN is hoarding the lesser bills?
Please people share your experience.
the truth is that people dont like collecting lower bills when they are making withdrawal in the bank. every body want to collect 1k notes. sometimes i keeping asking them, if everybody wants 1k, how would the lower denominations circulate we had some situations where some customers were even threatning to close their acct b/c they were been paid lower bills. @op just go to any bank and tell then u want withdraw money in lower bills then if they dont give as many as u want, then know that there no lower bill. but i bet u will rec as many as the money in ur acct will carry. lol

payless: grin

People like Umeh says thing like this to remain relevant in Iboland. Most Ibos respond positively when they hear there is a Yoruba man that hates them. I have never seen Umeh or Obi talk to their people without saying Yorubas hate them. They love politics of hate and division. They have never campaigned where they told their people what they have done to impact the lives of Ibo people. They wouldn't point that out because there is nothing to show except their fat bank accounts home and abroad.
did you read the article? or are u just commenting base on the title? there is never a place in the article that umeh said obasanjo hate igbos. the title is misleading.

u lack comprehensive skill.and u dont reason at all. That someone told him in the bank to withraw the money, doesnt mean that the person is a banker. There are customers in the bank. How can a banker advise his customer to commit fraud in the bank that provide food in his table? wht does stand to gain? dont u know that any banker that does that will loose his job?

Education / Re: ASUU Strike: A Lecturer Speaks by eguityjustice(m): 12:50pm On Oct 11, 2013
Appliedmaths.:
@ Prof. You made mention of the fact that the current Final year students wouldn't benefit from the current ASUU strike, I also believe the current 300L students (sadly which I belong to) wouldn't really benefit from the strike too. But my question is this why did ASUU not allow the current Final year students write their Final exams and graduate peacefully instead of frustrating these lads. I see this as sheer wickedness. You people got this one wrong, I tell you most parents whose children are currently in their Finals now have doubled their labour just to be able to meet up with their needs. The elapsed time has eaten deep into their pockets, go the market you'll see aged men and women (60-70) telling you how ASUU have destroyed their plans because they see no reason why their Final year children were not allowed to complete their programme and come home in peace. I don't know what nonsensical and un-professional point ASUU wanted to prove, but I tell you ;you people got this one wrong. This is my own side of the story.

Summary: ASUU should have allowed the Final year students complete their programme. We the 300L students downwards can understand the situation and peacefully relax in our various houses without breaking a sweat.
my dear if ASUU allow final year to write their exams as u suggested, those in 300l will enter final yr. and will still ask ASUU to let them graguate first.and it continues like that. but op my question to u is, if u are the president would u honour the agreement? the reason i am asking this is that GEJ was once an ASUU member and i believed that he was in suport of ASUU then. now that the whole thing is in his hand, the story has change.
