A simple explanation of these engines : V6, flat 6, inline 6, V8, V10, V12, VR6, W16

In almost every car , there's a good chance you'll find one of these engines names, but what does it mean?

Well the letters , V and W usually represent the shape of the engine, while the numbers 4, 6, 8 ,10 , 12 represent the number of piston found in the engine . The rather complicated one is the VR6 , 6 still means the number of piston , but there's no VR shape. For more understanding , let's get to it one by one.



V6


A V6 engine has a V shape engine and 6 pistons which goes to 6 cylinders


Flat 6


The engine is flat , but instead of cylinders facing upward , they face to the side . It also has 6 pistons

Inline 6


This is the traditional on , it's a straight engine with 6 pistons

VR6


This one is a little complicated. VR6 engines are V6 piston engines with a narrow angle between the cylinder banks and a single cylinder head covering both banks of cylinders.

V8


It's a V shaped engine with 8 pistons , mostly found in muscle cars.

V10


Just like the V8 , it is a V shape , but with 10 pistons

V12


It's like a combination of two inline 6s , it also has a V shape with 12 pistons.

W16


This is the Most complicated one , it has 16 pistons with a W shape. If you look at it closely , it's Patten is like a VR 6.

The END SARS protest seems to be taken a new turn as NIGERIANS have decided to ask for better living conditions and government as a whole and not just about ending Police brutality. It seems as though the police brutality was just a wake-up call for youths to begin to demand a better NIGERIA.

So far, money has been contributed towards the protest from both local and international individuals. It has been rumored that politicians who tried to donate to the protest were refused as youths are trying not to politicize the protest.



It's believed that over sixty-two million Naira has been contributed to the protest as confirmed by the group in charge of donations.

RIP to the departed

A lot of innocent Nigerian youths have lost their lives in the hands of Police force group called Special anti robbery squad (SARS), too many young lives and destinies cut short.





It not like I'm trying to descriminate Nigerian Police force but seeing the rate some of these corrupt police officers and these so called SARS have killed innocent Nigeria youths all because they have IPhones, dress fine and have expensive cars is so uncalled for.


Ifeoma Abugu died after SARS went to his finance house to arrest him but couldn't find him, they took Ifeoma and the following day she was found dead. Johnson Kolade was killed when he went to watch football match and so as many others.

Yesterday during the protest in Ogbomono in OYO state another peaceful protester by name Jimoh Isiaq was shot dead by these officers and he was buried yesterday, why? What have we done wrong in these country to deserve all these brutality and assassinations.

He was driving in his Chrysler 300c while he was being shot at Rosettenville in Johnannesburg South Africa. The police department of SA tried all they could to make sure that they get to root of the assassination of this great legend. After the long run, 5 people were arrested for persecution of this crime but later on, 3 people among them where find guilty and was convicted in 31 March 2009, they trio where all sentenced to life imprisonment.

Regarding to the Police Department of South Africa, they said that these three Assassins were after the Chrysler 300c Lucky Dube was driving. They though the owner of the car must have been a Nigeria citizen. The S.A police said that after a proper investigation was carried out, that these criminals did not know it was the Reggae singer, they though it was a Nigerian and that was why they shot him to death as they try to snatch his car from him.




But Lucky Dude took the bullet and yet drove off till he got exhausted and crashes the cars on a tree in a road side.

Lucky Dube was born in August 1964 and he life was took away from him in 2007. It was alleged that Dube parents parted ways due to some irreconcilable issues before her mother put him to birth and that was the reason why he was brought up under the care of his mother alone.
