@ op. Peace, be calm. The only people in the position to advise you are marriage counselors or an experienced couple who's been through this kind of turbulence. I can promise you those asking you to leave the relationship, are either divorced, or have no first hand experience in marital affairs, save for what they watch on tv, see on agony aunt columns, or cases reported to them. It is a well known case that the first five to six years of marriage is challenging, with couples struggling to come to terms with the new personality of someone whom they thought they've known most of their lives. Have you ever thought of your own short comings and try to sort yourself out? Have you ever had a passionate and patient discussion with him devoid of blame or trying to be defensive and justified ? What kinda lifestyle did both of you live as dates way back. That's also a very strong determinant of what your relationship will be presently. Don't let the advice of retaarded goons on NL be a yardstick for your decisions. Remember, it's only advisory and not binding, as most of these rascals just post for the fun of it and really don't mean what they post. Most importantly, they won't be there to help out if it turns out against you. Funny enough too some of them are facing worst predicament in their homes and would want you to be their experimental guinea pig. Please for the sake of Almighty God, your young salvageable marriage, and your child think it over. No matter how bad it is, there's ALWAYS a positive outlook to it. It's better it starts out bad and end up good, than the other way around. Why I'm telling you these? I've been married for six years and gone through hell and back, now I'm in bliss paradise, cause of prayers, patience, and perseverance.oh and tolerance too . marriage is not the make believe we read or watch on soap operas. It is truly an institution. Thanks dear. God redeem you and your husband, AMEN ![]() |

FOLLOWING the free-for-all that took place in the chambers of the Rivers State House of Assembly, the state Police Command has declared the Majority Leader, Mr. Chidi Lloyd, wanted. Lloyd was on Wednesday declared wanted for his involvement in a case of conspiracy, attempted murder, wounding and willful damage on Monday last week. The lawmaker, representing Emohua State Constituency, was caught in a video footage hitting a member of the House of Assembly, Mr. Michael Chinda, several times with a mace during the fracas in the Assembly. Chinda, whose health condition became worse after the incident, had since been flown abroad for proper medical attention. He represents Obio/Akpor Constituency II in the State House of Assembly. The injured legislator was one of the five lawmakers that attempted to impeach the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Mr. Otelemaba Amachree. In a statement by the state Police Public Relations, Mrs. Angela Agabe, the command explained that Lloyd was declared wanted after he failed to honour the invitation of the police, which elapsed on July 16, 2013. “The Rivers State Police Command has declared wanted one Honorable Chidi Lloyd (male); a native of Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State. He is the Majority Leader of the Rivers State House of Assembly. “He (Lloyd) was involved in a case of conspiracy, attempted murder, wounding and willful damage on the 9th of July, 2013,” the command’s statement read. The crime, according to the statement, is being investigated by a special team from the Inspector General of Police, Mr. Mohammed Abubakar, in collaboration with the State Criminal Investigative Department, Rivers State Command. It noted that the lawmaker was last seen at the Rivers State House of Assembly on July 9, 2013 and called on any person or group of persons with information of Lloyd’s whereabouts to call 0808088890 or 08033277007. Reacting to the development, the State Peoples Democratic Party described police declaration of Lloyd wanted as a welcome development. A statement by the Special Adviser, Media, to the State PDP Chairman, Mr. Jerry Needam, urged the Police to also arrest and investigate the Aide-de-Camp and Chief Security Officer to the state Governor, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi. However, the Deputy Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Mr. Leyii Kwanee, expressed dissatisfaction with the decision of the police to declare Lloyd wanted. Kwanee, who spoke in a telephone interview with The PUNCH on Wednesday, said the fracas in the state House of Assembly was not the first. The deputy speaker recalled that lawmakers had fought in the National Assembly in the past without the police declaring anybody wanted. In a related development, the Force Headquarters, Abuja, has summoned Lloyd; the ADC to the Rivers State Governor, Debeware- Semeikumo; and the Chief Security Officer to the Governor, Tony Iwelu, for interrogation. They are to report to the Force Criminal Investigation Department, Force Headquarters, Abuja, for interrogation for their roles in the Assembly mayhem as seen in the video clips in circulation, according to the police. Lloyd is one of the members of the House loyal to the Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi. The PUNCH had exclusively reported on Monday that Amaechi’s ADC had been summoned for interrogation by the Force Headquarters for engaging in a brawl with a member of the state assembly as captured in a video. A statement by the Deputy Force Public Relations Officer, Frank Mba, on Wednesday stated that the men were invited to obtain further details that would assist proper investigation into the matter. http://www.punchng.com/news/police-declare-rivers-assembly-majority-leader-wanted/

God bless the samaritan. Good job you're doing there. May you never lack favor. As for anatomical aje, his misfortune will be celebrated by his enemies. I did read that success digest article back then and was kinda wondering if he'd ever turn a new leaf. Soldier will always be a soldier, leopard and it's spot. His nemesis is at his door now. The sweat of the people he fleeced will be his undoing. Once again sister, God bless the good samaritan ![]() |
Nigeria still has a long way to go before it truly becomes a civilized nation....What these pastors or religious leaders and politicians don't understand is that Homosexuals and homosexual activist are not asking for equal rights in churches and mosques..they are asking for equal rights under the law as a citizen of a country which is their right. It is their right as a citizen of Nigeria to be protected under the law..regardless of who they like to have sex with. Nigeria is not govern by the bible or Quran its govern by a constitution which guarantees all citizens equal rights. Politics and religion have nothing in common....with laws like this and if politicians continue to allow religious leaders to influence the laws...Nigeria will forever remain an irrelevant third world country lead by caveman..
our constitution is fashioned after our norms. It is an alien practice. Oil and water will never mix. By the way, I recommend burning at the stakes. The idea of sending them to jail will allow for them to initiate inmates into the illicit act. Men,I just can't imagine what these sick leprechauns enjoy in their itimacy. Imagine a maniless with poo and goo. Even dogs know better. So therefore, Mr knowitall, YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT WHAT YOU PRACTICE, SICK PERV [ |
May it never never be celebrated in the grave. Here's wishing you good Health,Stealth n Wealth, Amen ![]() |
A senior secondary student, Kelvin Agbedo, on Monday shocked both the court officials and litigants present when he was asked to spell the name of his teacher, John, in court as part of consideration for his bail and he could not do so. The 20-year old SS1 student of Awujuola Secondary School, Mile 2 Estate, Apapa, Lagos, southwest Nigeria, said he was not familiar with the spelling because he was not good at spellings. The presiding Magistrate Mr. P. E. Adekomanya wondered if he was actually a student as he claimed and he said yes and mentioned again the name of his school. Aghedo from Esan in Edo State, southsouth Nigeria, was arrested by the police along Ojo road Ajegunle Division for allegedly stealing a Techno handset worth N5,000 belonging to Segun Alli. He was charged before Apapa Magistrate’s court with stealing under the Criminal Code. When he was arraigned in court, he pleaded not guilty. He explained in court that he actually picked up the set along the road and did not steal it as alleged by the police. He passionately pleaded with the court to allow him go because he was still a student. At that point the Magistrate asked him the name of his school which he gave. When he was asked to mention the name of his principal, he said he did not know. The Magistrate then asked him further questions to determine whether he was a student or not, by asking him to tell the court the name of his teacher. Agbedo said his teacher’s name is John and when he was asked to spell the name, he said he did not know and quickly added that he couldn’t remember how to spell it. The court ignored his plea and granted him bail in the sum of N10,000 with one surety in like sum. His detention warrant was immediately signed and the magistrate ordered him to be remanded in prison custody till he perfects his bail. The matter was adjourned till 18 July, 2013 |
